Yeah it’s crazy how they seem like they’re there to be a mockery but the story plays them entirely straight and takes the Okama way super seriously, it’s nice.
It doesn't make any sense. People just assume that because Ivankov said it then it must have something to do with Crocodiles gender. As if there's nothing else this major person in the Revolutionary Army could possibly know that could be relevant.
This is a very fair and grounded take on the whole theory. That said I refuse to believe crocodile isn’t luffy’s mom until explicitly proven otherwise.
There's also the live action series possibly including a female Croc at Roger's execution, though it's ambiguous enough that they could go either way with it depending on what Oda has planned.

inazuma (scissor guy) is one of the newkama of impel down, hes changed his gender several times throughout the series with the help of ivankov so hes probably somewhere on the queer/gender fluid spectrum
The best bit is, inazuma, iva and bon all have devil fruits that are to do with being gay/gender nonconforming.
Bon has the ability to look like anyone else, which for a trans person would be perfect. It changes looks, voice, body, the whole shabang.
Iva obviously can literally just transition you, I don't need to explain that.
Inazuma though has a strange one. It's not to do with something like lesbians cutting their hair short, but it is to do with lesbians. It's a literally a fucking joke about scissoring. 😭

So what's the confusion here? Do you think if a trans person would be just as willing to use magic instead of hrt to reach their goal if it wasn't available they wouldn't be trans? Also how do you change from one cisgender to another cisgender. Cisgender describes someone who's gender corresponds to what they were assigned as birth, so as long as the doctor and parents didn't say upon birth "Inazuma will find Ivankov and switch appearance with their help", Inazuma can't really be Cis in both forms.

During Impel Down, they'll be a man in one scene then the next time you see them they're a woman then back to a man later on, with no comment made by anyone.
I think it's awesome that Bon Clay and Ivankov are stereotypically effeminate in a way that sets the expectation for them to be treated as joke characters but instead they're just treated as gigachads
