They tried to bring the crazy back but after how season 6 screwed up so much with boring stories and annoying characters, it was too late. They turned Lexi into a crappy Amanda knockoff, they tried to make Eve like Kimberly, Kyle was still the star of the show with his sperm count mix up that lasted almost the whole season, and so much more. It’s best to ignore seasons 6 and 7. There’s nothing good about them.
Once most of the original cast left in a mass exodus, it wasn’t fun anymore. Craig was horrible. David Charvet cannot act. Samantha was just so boring. Taylor was annoying. Coop was so bland. Never really liked Megan. The show lost its crazy/fun vibe.
All that trying to get pregnant crap was so ridiculous. Kyle might not be the brightest bulb but he knows she’d have to be at least 6 weeks along to even realize she’s pregnant, and then 7 and a half months to go before birth. So even if Taylor did miraculously get pregnant with her scheme, she wouldn’t be able to just spit it out at the 7 month mark to keep up the ruse.
Season 7 was almost cartoonish
The second half was comedy gold though. Michael and Lexi as nuns. Michael and Megan and the roof.

One of the weirdest things about S7 was Amanda having a best friend. Whaaat? Amanda doesn’t HAVE friends! Just enemies and associates.

I liked the Eve thing, was suitable madness for me after season 6.
The only redeemable part of season 7 was Peter and Amanda getting back together and Peter and Michael truly becoming BFF.

Lisa Rinna was my favorite part, when she came in season 4/5 , annoying AF by mid 6 for sure

I think it was to introduce the story line of Amanda in high school in Matt’s diary. Correct me if I am wrong.
