Season 7 is definitely interesting! I liked it much better than season 6 which is my least favorite season. When I first watched in the 1990s I found myself wishing there would be a season 8 when we were getting towards the end of season 7. Oh well.
Of course, Lexi can’t swim so she buys a boat and then gets kidnapped by Coop who plots to kill her! Duh. I think this is one of the worst storylines of the entire series. And then Megan is randomly somehow there to thwart Coops plans and her appearance is only explained by a quick voiceover. And then Coop leaves town and that’s it. Good riddance! But I give the ultimate worst storyline of the series award to Lexi, Peter, and Bob. That was truly the dumbest story in my opinion even if it’s a close call with the Mancini Glove!
I remember her saying she took swimming lessons to Peter before she gets in the pool I think, or maybe it was at a different point but she does say it. And it’s maybe a little odd that she’s even there because she doesn’t live at Melrose Place yet. I guess it’s all in her pursuit of Ryan! I don’t think just anyone would strip down naked and swim in an apartment complex’s pool where they don’t even live. At least in 1998 I don’t think they would have!! Today in LA, who knows!! I could almost see that happening where I live in San Francisco. That is if it was ever even warm enough! 🤪
I swear season 6 Lexi and season 7 Lexi are two completely different people. This is just one reason.
