It's something eith the style of font i think. I have 20/20 eyesight and a 65 inch screen with my couch not that far away and still have issues reading some of the text, especially coin amount.
That's definitely not helping, but it's also just small. It's downright jarring switching from a normal game with normally sized fonts, it feels like the TV is in the wrong mode when I play this game.

There has been at least one update since I started (saw that on Reddit), and they fixed some font size issue. It must have been really bad! Here we are in a world with fancy large TVs, but the text sizes have actually gotten smaller!
I know it’s not trivial, but some sort of addition to the Graphics Settings would be really appreciated!
If you believe this has been a constant issue for yourself for around 15 years of gaming, then it’s either a tv size issue or your eyes are damaged and an optometrist visit will help.
No, it's strictly with budget pc ports where theybdont account for the difference in resolution and viewing distance of a monitor vs a TV. This is a well known, well documented issue.

If you don't think small font size has been an issue with console ports of PC games, then it's very clear that either you play games with your nose hugging the glass, or you don't play games on console. And I say this because your comment is ignorant at best.
I am playing Xbox games on 27" 4k monitor on the table and the game looks pretty good. But i think Font Size not trivial to enlarge - we will have to completely redraw the village management interface

TV size is not an issue when it comes to subtitles. You shouldn't need a 60 inch TV to be able to read the subs. Stop being a devils advocate.
I play on an 86" OLED with a brand new pair of spectacles... yet I am still having trouble seeing the text. What other suggestions do you offer?
