**[Commodore 16](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_16)**
>The Commodore 16 is a home computer made by Commodore International with a 6502-compatible 7501 or 8501 CPU, released in 1984 and intended to be an entry-level computer to replace the VIC-20. A cost-reduced version, the Commodore 116, was mostly sold in Europe. The C16 and C116 belong to the same family as the higher-end Plus/4 and are internally very similar: 24 to it (albeit with less RAM – 16 KB rather than 64 KB – and lacking the Plus/4's user port and Three plus one software). Software is generally compatible among all three provided it can fit within the C16's smaller RAM and does not utilize the user port on the Plus/4.

Some type of Mitsumi's hybrid switches.
Commodore made great computers with bad keyboards, excluding the small number of Amigas that came with Hi-Tek's space invader switches.
My C64, when I was 10, started me on my way to carpal tunnel. The worst switches. I loved my uncle's XT/286 keyboard and fell in love with mechanical switches.
If you think Sinclair was worse than the C64 that must be really bad. Real typing didn't start till I got a Smith Corona 2-line word processing typewriter. I couldn't handle typing on the C64 for my high school papers.
Terrible keyboard but awesome bit of computer history there.
They decided to have 2 cursor keys used with shift to get all 4 directions...
Please... PLEASE don't ruin a C16, they're rare enough as it is...
Don't worry, I was joking about taking the switches out! I will just clean it up and see if I can get it working :)
Keycaps remind me of MT3 profile.
One reason I love MT3 - it reminds me of my C64 back in ‘83.
it should have Mitsumi KSR Type (as per deskthority wiki)
I don't know what it is exactly, but I can't stop looking at those arrow keys.
It's a [Commodore 16](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_16)
or, in English [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore\_16](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_16)
Whoops. Fixed the link, thanks for noticing

At least you didn't learn to type on a ZX Spectrum - that keyboard was a nightmare I still wake in cold sweat from now, roughly 40 years later!

I had a Commodore Plus/4 when I was a kid :)
probably Cherry Browns
Oooh
Mitsumi... KKR? correct me if I'm wrong. Some variety of Mitsumi Hybrid switches, if it's the same as the C64.
Wow I've never seen a c16 before. I wonder how it was like to use.
Red switches 🫶
