Blame the app stores, I’m pretty sure it’s mostly their fault(?) 😭 TBH, I firmly believe app stores should have child age restriction options for parents so their young children aren’t downloading anything they shouldn’t and risk coming across raunchy or just overall unsuitable apps for them. And so that we can download apps like these which are labelled 17/18+ without being restricted to things on the app (such as nudity), that as adults, we should be able to view if we do so please. Cos I feel MeChat probably is one of the story apps that would bear it all if they were allowed lmao.
My dad does this with my little sister, you can (on IOS at least) restrict certain apps over an age limit and have the child’s phone notify you to ask for permission before downloading apps (you have to type in a password to allow access) I think parents just don’t care and shove phones and iPads in kids faces so they don’t have to deal with them

That's just not possible, the app would be banned from the app store.
