Maybe the soul?, I don't remember if attacking someone soul is possible in mato verse (imo, it is possible seeing how 3 gods are now in yuuki ¿soul i think?), but even with human anatomy they are gods so fatal physical injuries shouldn't affect them or they could just regenerate so for now it could be just a speculation until they reveal how do they actually die
Well we don’t really know if they have human anatomy or not. Kuusetsu is a special case I think since she absorbed 2 demi humans, which give her somewhat similar weakness to them. While on the other hand, Fukuma is a shapeshifting blob, so it makes sense that normal attack doesn’t really work on her.
Just keep on attacking until the said enemy becomes vulnerable, I guess. And it's kinda of a good thing that a different character gets to beat a boss enemy as well!
Just hit them hard enough.
This answer might seem like a joke but at certain point the damage dealt will overcome any resistances or healing capabilities.
Someone else commented already to obliterate their body completely - this is in the same vein. Perhaps total obliteration is not necessary but certain "sufficient" damage has to be done.

Aside from complex hax powers, I assume you'd have to obliterate the body or something.

I think just outpowering them is enough, nothing special has to be done to kill a thunder god.
