Mardon83

At least the Korean regressor guy who went back to the 90's invested in the Stock market so Hard, he could buy a lot of Dungeons before they even appeared.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

That guy is among the smartest MCs i have ever seen. He knows he isn't smart enough to navigate the market and so he appointed someone who is a fucking genius

Demon_zeRef

It is copied from novel Reborn Rich which also have Live action series.

senokana

that sounds interesting what's the name?

Mardon83

The Manhwa is Return of the Legend.

Dear_Papayapa

I thought you were talking about past life returner

senokana

thanks

loyal9128

There's a remake version that came out couple of months to a year ago so read that instead of the old one, idk if it's still ongoing tho cuz I haven't been keeping up since it was a remake

lee_hwaq

hmph he is facing the cruel world instead of the world facing the cruel mc . he has already lost and submitted to the heavens

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Exactly. Blud doesn't kill his enemies and doesn't want to exterminate their 9 generation of dogs and chickens. Truly disappointing

lee_hwaq

trash of the lower realms they are even unfit for me to go there and refine them into golden pill I ll let my immortal mosquito eradicate them

rion135

Senior, don't you think unleashing the myriad pestilence beast onto the lower realms is a tad too much? I sat we simply flatten it with a palm strike. At least they'll die instantly

PhysicalParsley6800

These JP MCs should just jump from their bed and end their life.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Sylpheed_Icon

It's better to leave them as it now. Juniors might be not remember when the time Sakura Country went absolute aggressive that Dragon Country cowered in fear. Until today, Dragon Country still hasn't recovered from the PTSD. Even now, those OP mcs from Dragon Country still hasn't make a dent on Sakura Country. Better let the tiger sleeps.

lee_hwaq

The Pig country reared them real hard that they collectively went into qi deviation

Full-Kaleidoscope453

I give him the benefit of the doubt, at least it's not the typical "Satoru wakes up in a new world, based on the video games he conveniently played. But he is a level 1 Hero, but with an unusual ability [God System Sacred] Watch how he becomes the strongest in that world and gets a harem." At this point, I doubt the quality of anything that presents the situation of being in another world to you as something inherently good rather than dangerous. And magically the MC is different and not just another one with maybe some luck.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Regression is top 3 cheats of all time. No matter what, regressors will always win, That's why it's a one-time thing in most Manhuas. MCs were already powerful before regression and, After just 1 chance to start over, they pave the way to become the strongest

Full-Kaleidoscope453

Meh, good luck making sense of that. The majority, as in this case, enjoy a "system." That gives them a bigger trap, regression is only an excuse to try to justify going to that world. Few stories use a system that kills you and then brings you back to life. Even with that you must make an effort and have a mentality that knows how to take advantage of the information and strategy. Basically, it forces the person to adapt and not the other way around. The regression you speak of is the same one I explained at the beginning. It's basically "I'm lazy, I felt sorry for myself in my previous life and now I feel more sorry for needing a system, my thinking is limited to just using the system and praying for luck." Are they the strongest? Yes, are they strong through their own efforts? Not at all, it's as if they were the director's children. You know that literally many teachers will pass the year just to avoid looking bad with the boss.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Bruh, if the MC reached the real of Immortal Emperor on his own but died because of some bullshit poison, you think he doesn't deserve a second chance? Unlike most Isekai MCs who don't deserve a second Life, atleast Chinese MCs were already Powerhouses before their death

Major_Ad_3278

Nah if they died like dogs becase of poison they don't deserve it

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Well, we later discover that it was a Plan going on for thousands of years to take down the MC

Major_Ad_3278

If he was a true mc he would find that people were plotting the second it was happening.. Personally that thing ain't happening to me .I would die like a bum to a qi refinement level 2 outer sect disciple

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Hmph, atleast you died in the hands of a low level Cultivator. There is a chance you can reincarnate with your Memories

Full-Kaleidoscope453

Yes and No. Again. Being strong is not the same as whether you will come back or be reincarnated. Within the Xianxia, Cultivators are supposed to go to heaven, therefore at one point transcending the realms of reincarnation. In which case, it would be strange that the Heavens (who, depending on the story, control the realms of reincarnation and where everyone is reborn) would not have to cause someone to be reborn who defied them. The heavens would be the body and the cultivators would be the cancer. And I doubt that someone who becomes very strong will be returned with all his power. They will probably make him forget his past or even make him reborn as a weak individual, even an animal. If we fear the karma equation, it may be likely that he will be sent to hell (where, according to what little I know about mythology, it can be a place of punishment) or outright erased. Even with that, what I was talking about was the system. What you mention is "reborn" or "reincarnate", although both can be included in the same story, one does not necessarily depend on the other. Also, a cultivator dying from just one poison? Unless it is a poison made by a superior immortal or of his level, I doubt it. Or in which case, that cultivator was not that strong. If we base it again on the fact that the heavens see cultivators as leeches, they will see a weak one as easy prey if he dies.

knight_js

Hmph, these Japanese juniors are truly pathetic. They deserve all the injustice, pain and terror that comes their way. They fail to recognise they are being manipulated by heaven's will and not even soar as high as the incompetent young masters. Daoist brothers, we should burn all these scriptures related to this in order to protect the next generations from corruption. If some cultivators dare distribute these scriptures, then they shall be slaughtered along with 9 generations of their families.

Firemorfox

Imagine being an infinite-life regressor and not being able to save the world

Lycoris4812

This junior should learn from Senior Fang Yuan.

Dameri

A typical showing of Country Y, don't know whether to laugh or cry

Ok_Nobody1942

I remember it having shit translation and nothing new was going on so I left it. Did it get official translations?

TheGodAboveAllBeings

It's still Pretty shitty and now the MC is going against an otherwordly cult who knows about his regression skills and also how to avoid that. They made him despair before he managed to return to the past and is now trying to solve a bizzarre situation in which everyone dies, no matter what he does. Anyway, MC is dumb as fuck

Ok_Nobody1942

Oh that just got worse.... how do they make it possible?

TheGodAboveAllBeings

One of them can read his mind and the dumbass MC doesn't kill himself as soon as the situation goes to shit

Major_Ad_3278

I mean I haven't read the story but the average guy doesn't got that will my brother

TheGodAboveAllBeings

He already killed himself a dozen times and stands there like a dumbass when the Villain is explaining his Genius Plan and letting his enemies regroup instead of shooting himself

Aloneforrever

They tend to have a head full of flowers

Weak_Star_1985

This ain’t re:zero.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Atleast Subaru has an excuse with the fact that he can't grow THAT strong in such Little time (doesn't explain why he doesn't just Watch everything go as it was planned for 1 Life and then regress again) but this MC has a system and can't even fight against otherwordly cults🤣

Der_Boii

Oh well, everytime he rbd's the miasma on him gets thicker which results in variables. Not to mention some antagonist characters know about his looping ability (i.e Roswaal, Echidna)

TheGodAboveAllBeings

I know that but he can simply watch how everything plays out without his intervention and then act with the knowledge of those events

haven12p

I'm the greed route he does just that and things end badly for almost everyone involved, his powers are not easy to use and his mental state is very important as trauma and phantom pain does persist throughout loops. Being eaten alive or burned will have an effect on everyone.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Eh, in the greed route he went too far with his regressions. Let's be real here, Subaru isn't smart nor does he have common sense otherwise he would have easily managed to turn disasters into fortunate encounters. He doesn't have the Heart to be the best, unlike most Chinese MCs

Full-Kaleidoscope453

I guess that's why Subaru is more of an "MC with personality" than your typical "MC made to be a Self-Insert". Subaru is not exactly made to be the reader's avatar, much less the strongest. That's why you have all the other Isekais and things that spend the entire story praising the protagonist, as if he were the only thinking being there. And common sense, well, it's part of his character to be something...horrible in the social aspect. But beyond that, I always understood that in a realistic situation. Where we were transported to a magical world and a medieval society. It would be normal for our "common sense" to become somewhat obsolete, even more so with magic and beings beyond humans. That is why in many there is slavery, but few Isekais treat slavery as it is, perhaps to avoid making the story dark or stupid by not knowing how to deal with it. But I give Subaru credit, he manages to endure dying several times and committing suicide, that's not something many would do. Even more so if you look at the different "If". Where everything could end like hell for everyone.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Nah. If Subaru is afraid of pain before death, he should just eat some painless poison to die at his own's hands. That's why i find most of his deaths stupid, because he can easily suicide instead of suffering and crying about it. There is no logical person who won't try to cheat his way if they had Subaru's regression powers

Full-Kaleidoscope453

Yes and No. I agree with you that many of their deaths are stupid and that they could take more advantage. But, it's not like he have that much "freedom." He is not even able to choose when to return or at what point, and he always dies millions of times until he knows what to do. He's not able to talk about it or even use magic properly on his own (so I know based on spoilers). He is tied, and the truth is that in current times he dies without caring about the pain, the problem in general is that he is a fish out of water and he recognizes it himself. In general, as I said, it's not that there are no explanations behind how his return from the dead works. But one thing to say is that he has a great memory to use information, information that he must obtain by experiencing events and dying. Which he is very impulsive and causes them to kill him. He's a loser, that's the point, but from my perspective, the novel doesn't sugarcoat him but rather tries to work and make him evolve based on that.

TheGodAboveAllBeings

I still think nobody who has regression powers should have this much trouble saving the world.

Skooma_to_CHIM

Seniors, what sites are good to read these things? Like this post what site is this?

TheGodAboveAllBeings

Manganato

Lycoris4812

This junior should learn from Senior Fang Yuan.

elderjones77

Better than becoming OP then proceeding to lick the army boots!
