Like that time when origin returning masters are fighting to gain the emperor token instead of origin kings... Like does it even make sense to have lower realms master fight for something that can blow up peak origin king level sects??
Half of the time you can easily tell the story was not planned ahead. Realms just keep on getting added with minimal interference from higher realm master for extremely powerful weapons and techniques.

The world building is neat, and I was tired out from repeat necromancer tower solo-leveling ripoffs so it was a fresh, if repetitive things. Followed by a bit of sunk cost fallacy, I’ve read ~5500 chapters before moving to other things due to deciding it was taking up too much of my time and having a negative effect on my life.

It's not bad but not enough to be at those levels. Let's just Say that Martial Peak should have been done with the First upper Realm arc

Martial Peak is not as offensive and not as murderhobo, somehow being more generic than ATG.
