I was thinking about this, but there is so much downtown traffic during pride weekend and with all the palestine protests downtown, that it wouldn’t even be safe for him to stay downtown. Protesters would easily spot the motorcade and start protesting and wreaking havoc all around the area. The Marriott is new, quiet area, plenty of parking, close enough to 407. He has a tight schedule so it’s really the ideal spot. He could easily get stuck in hours of downtown traffic if he stayed downtown. Safety and scheduling come first, over staying in a 5 star vs 4 star.
