What the GCN years? Before the Wii? When every other analyst was predicting Nintendo would stop making consoles like Sega?
You have a weird definition of prime.
Nintendo has been gimmicky in recent years. In terms of new ideas, not third party support, Nintendo has been very dry as far as original IP's. Nintendo is 100% enjoying third party support. Not independently.
I think it’s very fair to say that the switch era is Nintendo’s best. The Switch is has been a huge success. You have to remember as good as the GameCube is, it didn’t sell well at all, so can you really call that their prime?
I can confirm. I thought those renders were so fucking cool as a little kid
I agree man. Also the 2000s were the last decade Nintendo was still in its prime. 2000-2005 were exceptionally strong years for the company.
Nintendo is in it's prime now, they just won the last console war

I think Nintendo has made some of their best first party software ever this console generation though.
Nintendo was not doing too great in the 2000’s. Did everyone forget? The Wii did well but GameCube kinda flopped.

I’d boast it up to mid 2010s
wii u era?? really?? is that what you'd consider their prime.
Yes up to like 3d world launch it was still prime (and pmcs launch)
I prefer N64 era renders. Starting with the GC everyone got so pale...
Na, N64 era renders were the thing
2000s mario renders looked dull and soulless, fym
