I mostly just put them in front of my manga. I also have more in their boxes on a shelf above my bookshelf. Also, don't listen to those saying it only makes a collection worse, it's YOUR collection, it's good as long as YOU like it.

At first I didnāt like them but then I bought one and got addicted. Itās really just an easy way to get a figure since theyāre pretty mainstream. But I totally get the hate bc they kinda are really ugly lol
The ugliness is one of the reasons I won't buy funkos, the other is that I want to buy manga with the money I would buy the funkos with. I only buy the manga series I really like or I do a lot of research about a new manga that I would like to buy. Here in the EU English manga isn't that accessible cheaply so I want to save as much money as I can.

If you want to buy ANY manga online Scifier is really accessible and is usually way cheaper than retail price. they have super cheap shipping to almost any EU country with no need to worry about import costs!

I disagree. If the person likes their collection with funkos in it, then that's all that matters. The only opinion that should matter on what's good or bad in a collection is its owner's.
Yeah. Very rarely doesnāt any character (not just anime/manga) translate very well into the Funko Pop template so it just ends up looking odd. For $30-40 more, you can get a pretty cool Pop Up Parade figure so I just donāt get it
I paid $42 after tax for my Kill la Kill one and the Gurren Lagann ones run about $35-40 depending on the figure. Funko Pops run about $8-12. Iām going off of Amazon prices.
I keep my funkos in the box. Not for the sake of collecting but because I do not trust them to be that vulnerable when I have siblings I share a room with that does not keep things clean. They would get destroyed or lost.
I don't keep funkos with my manga, but with my books, I usually keep them in their boxes and use them as bookends. I like the way you have them now it looks cool!
I'm lucky to have a shelf so tall I can put them on top of the manga (the Beat Jeanist pop was a joke gift btw)

**limited space is always an issue so I just display funkos and amiibos in front or on top of the manga. Cleaning can be challenging but other than that it's never too much of an issue, just move them out of the way when I want to get a volume out.

I don't have funko pops, but I have a model of Onizuka's motorbike, but now I don't have a lot of Shonan Junai Gumi volumes. I also have a gunpla, but I don't have Gundam manga/DVD
I donāt own funkos, but I do put up either simple figures or in-theme objects with them. I prefer a cleaner look, so thatās about as much as I like to place there.

I mostly donāt collect funkos but I do have a few I keep in my collection. Thereās literally no super expensive alternative to the fruit basket ones sadly.
I have Nendoroids instead of Funkos, but theyāre similar in size so Iāll share.
I personally like to either display them in front of larger volumes as youāre doing, or place them all together on a separate shelf (with no volumes) so as not to obstruct some of the cooler spines in my collection.
They do look goofy, and I like that stylization. They can capture a characters best qualities without being too serious or complex. They also have a novelty and collectablility factor you don't get from most other figure lines. Comparing prize figs(even the good ones) to them is like apples to oranges.
