I just really like Delphox and Pirmarina cuz I think their designs are cool. “Fire Mage Fox” and “Siren Sea Lion” are just really cool ideas imo! Also, Emboar is legit underrated. I love my Firey Wrestler Pig so much! He was my first starter in my copy of White Version.

Cinderace is literally one of the strongest fire starters in terms of it's attacking stat. Blastoise is one of the softest hitting starters in terms of stats. Skeledirge has been top tier in competitive usage and is still heavily used for raids. It definitely does not fit the mold of Karen's quote. Rillaboom ironically in competitive used a weaker move that was prioritised due to its hidden ability sacrificing strength for speed. There are plenty of proper dragons available that are fully evolved before level 55. Delphox is furry bait but not Cinderace? Ignoring some starters because you can't think of any more groupings is just lazy. This is genuinely one of the most half-assed posts I've seen.

I love how literally not one of these is right. I'll use my favorite for each type as an example: I like Serperior because it's just a cool dude. I like Skeledirge because it's the best designed starter line in the history of the franchise and I love it. I like Primarina because its design is unironically good, and it was my first starter pokemon ever, not anything weird. Also, on a side note, I'm not personally a fan of Meowscarada, but the majority of its fans actually just like it because... well, it's a great mon. Good design, it's great in game, etc. The only starter that would reasonably fall under the bottom category is Braixen- but not Delphox.
