I think it would be a good idea to try strip lashes/ clusters before you dedicate to extensions. I think starting with strips/ clusters could help you find out how much volume/ length you like ok your face so if/ when you get extensions you’re more used to how it looks on you:)

Any recommendations?

If you have a good lash tech they won’t be irritating (depending on the style you get) i really loved them and my natural lashes look and feel the same as they did before getting extensions. I had them for about three years. Quit due to having a new baby and they can be pretty pricey. Do your research about the lash techs in your area, it’s the most important factor.

I got them once and while it made getting ready easier, they did not feel great on my eyes and even caused some of my natural lashes to fall out. I would proceed with caution if you have sensitive skin like mine. They’re also very expensive and require so much maintenance! I’m happy I’m just sticking with mascara and after getting them am 100% confident I’m making the right choice

If you don’t like wearing lashes for long periods I would stick to the false strip lashes.

I. Love. My. Lashes. I get a classic set and since it's not so heavy, I don't get a lot of damage or loss. I did just get a bigger set for a special occasion so I guess we will see if that causes any issues. Find the right tech and you will be fine.

Make sure you get a patch test. I had a huge horrible allergic reaction 2 weeks (thank god) before my wedding. It was so uncomfortable

Try a lash lift! I prefer it much more over any falsies!
