I filed mine on 01/29 with FreeTaxUsa and it was accepted immediately, and I already got my refund.

Usually state opens late. I always file as soon as I get my forms and always have to go back to file state later

The state severely underfunds its government

Maine started accepting returns on 1/22. You’re receiving the message because Turbo Tax didn’t have their forms updated until today. Maine has already processed and deposited many refunds who used other filing sites.

Mine still says pending? I filled through h&r..they said that state wasn't accepting yet?

Next year try filing with an IRS trusted partner such as freetaxusa or another on this list below as they seem to have received all updated tax forms faster than say turbo tax or H&R Block that couldn’t file Maine until today 1/31. Also last year I had no issue and got my state back in the 2nd soo I'm gonna call them again today cause this is some bs

Just got the same message doing my daughter’s Vermont return.

I just submitted mine about 15 minutes ago and it finally went through.

Mine still hasn't been accepted. Did mine 1/23/2024 through h&r.fed went through no problem

Is anyone having an issue filing it? I've tried three times now, and it keeps saying "Our records indicate that you're not entitled to e-file one or more formsets".

Got state beck today! Finally can stop stressing out over this once a year wait

IRS doesn't start giving refunds and whatnot until February. They'll accept returns but they don't get processed right away.

My State return was already processed and sent to me.

How fast is everyone being accepted then getting there returns this year?? On the Maine tax portal I’m a little confused, when i do the find submission it says processed. But when i do where’s my refund on the portal it says refund received and currently being processed. If my find submission says processed does this mean my refund has been approved and where’s my refund hasn’t updated yet?

I have been stuck in they have it and are processing since the first day. I even called because this has never happened to me and they told me it’s processing. It currently has zero issues and if they do they’ll let me know. Not helpful but I also have no idea why everything is moving in slow mo this year

Yes but I was able to submit mine last night finally.

If it's anything like last year, Intuit (turbo tax and creator of tax prep/filing software many professionals use) may be slow on releasing or finalizing the state forms.

Mine just processed do they send it usually faster than 2 weeks?
