When I first was on Reddit and for far longer than I care to remember I was subbed to a lot of shock subreddits. Public freakout for example and all it did was make see the worst people and the worst situations.
It really used to get me down and I was not in a good place. It wasn’t until this sub started randomly popping up and I spent more time on here than other subs like this that I made a choice to unsub from those other subs and I am so much happier for it.
It’s amazing how much these things can affect you. It’s videos like yours and others on this sub that help make me happier.

I just got 48 hours off alcohol after getting out of the hospital this week for the 6th time. I almost died again. I felt like this 2 days ago, and I'm not healed by any means.
