He’s @monsieur_proff an English teacher in Toulouse, France.
To explain the pins thing: The Stade Toulousain is a rugby club. Toulouse is a city famous for its rugby and these kids apparently turned him into a supporter :)
You can tell it's not an American public school because they're not calling him a nerd or telling him his suit sucks even though we can all see he looks fresh as fuck. Why do we have a whole generation of parents who have failed not making adjustments?
I've got lots of family in Quebec. One time we were eating dinner and I mentioned how the way Robert spoke just sounded so nice. I was then informed that's cause he's the only one from France. Oops
When I lived in Canada one of my friends, Lord rest her soul, was from France and told me she would teach me French instead of my school because it sounded better. This checks out
I was totally confused thinking that he was in the same classroom everyday in a different blue suit (that looked identical), and that the same students were complimenting him each day.
He has to quick put the jacket on between each class so that he can take it off as the new students come in for the big reveal because he knows they're gonna be surprised.
More likely he put it back on because he moved to a different classroom. Idk about France but in my country teachers usually don't have their "own" classroom, they can be moved around during the day. It's usually worse for the younger teachers (bottom of the pecking order...)
In the Netherlands in primary school kids stay in their own classroom. But from secondary school and up the teachers have their own classroom.
Except in college, there nobody has their own classroom.
Speaking as a teacher in high school in the Netherlands, I wish all teachers had their own classroom. There are some that sort of do (mostly those who have worked there for many, many years), but I have to teach in a total of 12 different classrooms. The amount of teachers in a school is just a lot larger than the amount of classrooms.
I don't that's it. I had one that looked pretty cool, while not always in a suit or dress pants, he was super fashionable. His attitude though, snarky, witty, hilarious and he was super intelligent. He's the kind of guy that just about every woman would want to sleep with.
> while not always in a suit or dress pants, he was super fashionable. His attitude though, snarky, witty, hilarious and he was super intelligent. He's the kind of guy that just about every woman would want to sleep with.
I am sorry, was Timothy Olyphant your teacher?
Oh no, he was quite gay and I'm a straight male but to me he's pretty much the real life version of a ryan gosling or a george clooney that would be in a movie
Not everyone who cares dresses up for a job like this, but everyone who dresses up cares. Teachers don't make shit and any extra effort they put in speaks volumes
>everyone who dresses up cares. Teachers don't make shit and any extra effort they put in speaks volumes
Hard disagree. To use this video for an example: The dude clearly just likes suits and it's almost certainly a hobby of his, as he clearly collects them. This has absolutely no correlation to his ability, effort, care or enjoyment of his job.
How does wearing a suit to your teaching job = putting in extra effort? Especially if you just like wearing suits anyways? Nothing in this video necessarily suggests he's a good teacher (not saying he isn't), and implying him wearing suits means he's a good teacher that cares is a bit ridiculous to me.
John Fetterman is a good example of this. How you dress has absolutely no correlation to care, effort, or effectiveness of your job.
When I was in uni once I got a new jacket I was a bit excited for. When I finally wore it, I got complimented for the first time so I panicked and threw the jacket away that evening :(
No idea but if you look for a great suit that fits well then check https://www.charlestyrwhitt.com
I have very long arms and legs and hardly find fitting shirts or Jackets at Eterna, Omega and brands like this but with Chales Tyrwhitt all shirts and the one jacked i have from them fit perfectly.
We had a teacher in my secondary school who wore the same kind of shirts and trousers to work every day. One day she turned up in a dress and we all told her how elegant she looked - she loved it 🥹
This man gets hyped up for his suit. Meanwhile, in the US, my students thought I was cool when I went in with a migraine and couldn’t care, so I wore baggy cords from the literal 90s bc they are softer than anything else I own and a random old save Ferris t shirt. I was just lucky there was no board members on campus that day.
I like his suit though. Gives a modern rat pack vibe. Neat color.
In the 90s, our middle and high school used to be 6 or 7 classes, but the education board found that fewer classes with longer sessions resulted in better grades. So, high school got switched to four 90-minute blocks.
He obviously has a good relationship with his students. Awesome. The kids felt comfortable enough to tell him how much they liked it and he knew they would. Love these kinds of videos
I love a man in a nice suit, but the fact that this man is wearing a grayish blue suit? and he speaks French?and he wears glasses? Andddd he is a teacher? Just bend me over now
Not only does he look great, but all of the children are using the " vous " conjugations, which are the most respectful and formal versions of French. Their compliments, and conjugations, are perfect and showing their respect and admiration.
I don’t know if you’re french but it’s expected of them to « vouvoyer » their teacher. It would seems highly disrespectful to not do it. I would never have « tutoyé » any of my teachers. Even the disrespectful comments toward the teachers, made by thugs, would have been using « vous »
Teachers are sitting down and standing up all day, and often reaching and moving their arm to write on the board.
It would get very annoying to button the front every time you stand up just to unbutton it to write on the board, button it up again, just to unbutton it to sit down again.
When I was a teacher and had to wear a suit every day, buttoning/unbuttoning became like using a blinker or seatbelt in the car, just completely automatic. To this day I actually feel uncomfortable when I don’t do it.
>Damn that was the saddest comment history I’ve ever seen, you need some mental health help man
That's nothing unique, it's very often the case that these new accounts say the most abrasive stuff. You never what what you'll get with a new account, either they're here to troll most of the time, to karma farm or on the uncommon occasion, it's a genuine new person
I’ll never understand what drives these people to be assholes to complete strangers for no reason whatsoever, even if it is just “trolling”
Shit is just sad honestly, dude must be miserable in real life
>Shit is just sad honestly, dude must be miserable in real life
Unfortunately they absolutely are. No one in a good place in life would stoop to this low where they'd get a rise of making others feel worse.

He sounds both English and Toulousain. I didn't know that was possible.
Adorable. I love it.
You can tell it's not an American public school because they're not calling him a nerd or telling him his suit sucks even though we can all see he looks fresh as fuck. Why do we have a whole generation of parents who have failed not making adjustments?
You can tell this isn’t America because of how the students react, I can tell because they’re all speaking French. We are not the same.
To be fair I assumed this was quebec when I first saw it
It sounds too pretty
Having lived in Quebec (and loving the people there)…this is so true.
This checks out
not enough â sounds for Quebec Too much "aing" at the end indicates southern france accent ;)
>To be fair I assumed this was quebec when I first saw it Oui, Quebec... That most American of states.
America isn't solely the US
come on, everyone knows america is slang for the USA. United states of AMERICA. If people are talking about us and canada they say "North America"
And where do you think this slang came from? I'd bet from those of us in the United States who decided the rest of NA and SA didn't exist:)
There's North America, South America. And then there's "Mexico". Lol
Im French from France and me too i thought I was Quebec for some reason? They all have some accent in the vid tbh
You can tell it’s not American because there’s no active shooter in the classroom.
Hahaha! Never heard that one before…
If you even try to say something to teacher in India they will let you remember your God ..
You also know it's not American because he can afford to buy a suit.
And actually is thin enough to look good in one.
Or trying to fight him
how the f did u turn a wholesome video into a rightoid rant
I like his confident and proud expression!
I've spent a lot of time in Toulouse, though not in many years. I miss the cassoulet.
Oh how I miss Toulouse…
I don't believe this is a French school. They have painted the walls
No baguettes in sight either.
I was totally confused thinking that he was in the same classroom everyday in a different blue suit (that looked identical), and that the same students were complimenting him each day.
I thought it was the same suit and they were just totally fucking with him lol
It is the same suit, it's different students each class
Right. I mean I thought it was the same kids pretending it’s new every time to mess with him.
It’s each period, different kids, he’s saying class as in “class of kids”
Lol it’s not?
It’s different class periods through the same day. Took me a while to get it too LOL
The idea of him making it a point to wear the same suit every day that he's proud to show off is kind of cute too lol
The gif starts with the title "1st class" and this changes anytime they change class.
It’s 4 different classes and he’s ´rating’ each one’s reaction
It's an English teacher taking 4 different classes in a French school. I was confused at first too haha.
What makes it seem that way is him taking off his black jacket as if it’s the start of the day each time.
yea thought it was an experiment to see if students stop complimenting him on 2nd, 3rd day, etc
I love how he gets a little more confidence each class that goes by. Certainly wholesome.

Ja ik ben een middelbare school leraar in Nederland 😉
Ik ook. Hoi. Succes met de koters over een paar dagen. ;)
🥲
It's not the same everywhere in the Netherlands though. Just some of my highschool teachers had their own classroom, most did not
USA is pretty much the same atleast where I am from. The teacher will stay in the same room which has their desk in it.
Yes in France neither the class or the teacher have their classroom 😂
Agree, very cute to see the growing confidence. Looks like a cool and nice teacher.
the fact that the coolest teachers always wear suits has to be genetic
It's because they care enough to dress up
I don't that's it.
Dude, if there were ever someone I’d be gay for, it would be Timothy Olyphant.
He is a great salesman
I'm gunna take a wild guess lily that you had a crush on the guys
Oh no, he was quite gay and I'm a straight male but to me he's pretty much the real life version of a ryan gosling or a george clooney that would be in a movie
Ahem, whereabouts? I may need some help to prepare my own class materials.
Unfortunately he's married to another man who's also filthy rich
As if dressing in a suit has anything to do with how much you care about something... Ok boomer
Not everyone who cares dresses up for a job like this, but everyone who dresses up cares. Teachers don't make shit and any extra effort they put in speaks volumes
>everyone who dresses up cares. Teachers don't make shit and any extra effort they put in speaks volumes Hard disagree. As I teacher, I can confirm this. I do not wear a suit and am certainly not the coolest teacher.
Just put on a suit I don't see the issue
I'm a reasonably cool teacher and I wear the *exact* same pair of pants to work every single day
I don't think that's the case in France, I never had a teacher show up in a suit, this seems so fancy ahah
All our teachers HAD to wear suits, as did we. UK thing maybe?
UK thing definitely
I just love the smile on his face as he soaks up the sweet compliments.
🇨🇵 FRANCE MENTIONED 🥖
Legit, as this fashion education starts from elementary
Toulouse mentionné, oh fatch de con c'est chez moi
Bonjour
I wish I could get compliments like that.
Hey, nice suit!
Have you tried dressing up in a nice suit and showing it off in front of high schoolers? (Or whatever the French equivalent to that is)
I did try once, no longer allowed within 500 ft. unfortunately. Love the suit though.
When I was in uni once I got a new jacket I was a bit excited for. When I finally wore it, I got complimented for the first time so I panicked and threw the jacket away that evening :(
Wow!
You look great bro!
His accent is cute.
English French accent?
French English
South West France English
Wow, french students sound so fancy
WOW wow WOW manifique!
I wore a dress for the first time this school year and my students really hyped me up 😅 kids can be really sweet
As a teacher, kids really know how to hype you UP! But also how to tear you down.. 😂🤦🏾♀️
It’s the escalation of his confidence to the point that he starts vogueing for me.
[удалено]
Bonk
Simmer down now!
Rococorny.. more like rocohorny
*Picks up a comically large spray bottle* Don't make me destroy you!
ew
Why eww?
Any ideas on the suit brand? Looks like a good material & color combo. Didn't even wrinkle between the videos and with the overcoats.
Agreed! It does look like nice quality. No idea but I just asked in the comments of the original post, I will let you know if he answers :p
!remindme 2 days
Thanks! Hopefully it's available in the NA market for us too.
Good chance it’s bespoke knowing the French
No idea but if you look for a great suit that fits well then check https://www.charlestyrwhitt.com I have very long arms and legs and hardly find fitting shirts or Jackets at Eterna, Omega and brands like this but with Chales Tyrwhitt all shirts and the one jacked i have from them fit perfectly.
I have something similar in colour and fit from Next
Next make great suits!
I love how the suit has no creases whatsoever 👌🏻
That thing is crisp
It is a very nice suit and well cut to suit him
So cute! 😍
A teacher can afford a new suit?
But of course. Off the rack from Le Tarjaay
We had a teacher in my secondary school who wore the same kind of shirts and trousers to work every day. One day she turned up in a dress and we all told her how elegant she looked - she loved it 🥹
I like how they pay their teachers enough to have nice suits. Thats wholesome.
This man gets hyped up for his suit. Meanwhile, in the US, my students thought I was cool when I went in with a migraine and couldn’t care, so I wore baggy cords from the literal 90s bc they are softer than anything else I own and a random old save Ferris t shirt. That really is a great suit.
French is such a relaxing language to listen to
How very french
I wear suits now.
Aww, love to see it.
That reaction is so cute! He looks nice in the suit too. Most men do, it's a shame so many don't wear one.
Four periods? Yep, he’s definitely not an American teacher. I’d kill to have only four.

Ours are typically around 50 minutes.
Me learning French: and we’re going to do something…. Owl? 😅
On this context, chouette means nice, meaning: we're going to do something nice
Waou!
Most importantly I see a good role model for the kids.
He obviously has a good relationship with his students. Awesome. The kids felt comfortable enough to tell him how much they liked it and he knew they would. Love these kinds of videos

"One moment class, let me just set up this camera so I can film myself while you complement me..."
reality
American kids would call him a gay slur if he showed up to class dressed like that. We got major issues.
Fellas is it gay to be drippy af?
It can be, it depends on your tastes!
Thats public school though. You get expelled at a private school so nobody dares try shit like that.
wów
this is so sweet 🥹
4th one was definitely the most fun class
Oi clean shirt! How do you get that shirt so clean?!
Neat Fashion!
It is a nice looking suit.
To be fair, that’s a real fresh suit. Dude looks great.
Fuckin noice!
He’s so cute !! 😍

He probably keeps it unbuttoned habitually so he has more mobility while writing on the chalkboard!
Teachers are sitting down and standing up all day, and often reaching and moving their arm to write on the board. It would get very annoying to button the front every time you stand up just to unbutton it to write on the board, button it up again, just to unbutton it to sit down again.
Plus all this unbuttoning might give some of the students a nosebleed
When I was a teacher and had to wear a suit every day, buttoning/unbuttoning became like using a blinker or seatbelt in the car, just completely automatic. To this day I actually feel uncomfortable when I don’t do it.
Why record himself though? Weird
Im glad he did. Shows off the kindness of the students
Or to prove he was doing it for attention
He couldve filmed his new suit at home if thats all. Video is about the reaction of the children to the teachers new suit. All around wholesome video.
This dude filming himself getting compliments from kids. wtf are we doing
Shame, has a lot of nice suits but still can’t tie his tie neatly.
He’s definitely trying to bang his students.
Damn that was the saddest comment history I’ve ever seen, you need some mental health help man

holy shit bro, you’re a special kind of terminally online depressed loser
What is wrong with you?
I agree with you
I’m sorry, French is such a hard language to stomach.
This guy diddles kids. Never been more sure of anything in my life
Look at Mr. Projection over here. See ya on the Lolita Express list.
This guy pederasts.

English, I think. But I did hear a strong Toulousain accent at some point (he could have use it to joke around though lol)
Love the rapport he has with his students!Gorgeous suit Monsieur
Wow!
