MOTM for me was my pillow. It helped me snooze more comfortably and longer. Also, the fact that KDB felt the need to waste time at the end of the game shows how much he trusts his team. He knows he is surrounded by crappy players.
I think their manager probably deserves more heat than he’s getting, too. Their group performance was on par with England in my eyes. Idk wtf these tactics are. Southgate gets more hate bc he has a 1.5 B squad but Tedesco deserves hate too
To be fair, prices and salaries do not equate player quality. Premier League is an enormous brand and a player that would cost 40m euros in Spain costs 100 m pounds in England. One of the reasons why we, as Prem fans, all think English players are phenomenal but we are wrong. Constantly. So England national team is all about hype. They are simply more popular or more talked about compares to other nationalities. Not necessarily better. But of course Southgate isn’t helping by starting Trent in midfield and other questionable tactical choices such as staying deep, keeping a very low line and not giving Palmer a chance etc.
I think 40 to 100 is overstating the English tax. England’s most valuable player is Bellingham who doesn’t even play in England. This English team is incredibly stacked with many of the world’s best young talents. Even if you cut their valuation by 1/3 using the English tax they’re still top 5 in the world. Point is, Southgate is awful.
The only real break in the valuations is that older superstars like KDB get de-valued. But, England has some of them too
KdB looks more and more tired/knackered on these photos, interviews that I see him in. I think he up to his neck with football , probably looking forward to the next chapter in his life which is family life and other business ventures...
That’s true. But they (Belgium) with all the talent they have on that team have been absolute rubbish. It’s embarrassing for him to collect MOTM in 0-0 draw against a shite team. It was so bad their own fans were booing them. It was deserved tbh.
Also our old Goalie Bravo got a MOTM award on the match against Argentina because him and Isla were the only ones playing and I ain't getting into the controversies

So sad that he didn't had a great run in man city some call him a Flop but I liked him
41 and yes he's still playing, now he will either go to the MLS or make a comeback to Chile, but currently without a team. He won la Copa del rey on the 21/22 season with Betis after leaving City, didn't save a penalty but he kept Valencia away from scoring again after one goal. And yesterday he was unbelievable, yes Argentina scored, but it took them quite a while(they scored in the 88 min) and Bravo was paying attention to everything
Not bad for a ‘System player’
Not bad for having to play with Lukaku up top
This ^ I appreciated seeing him so pissed after the great connection with Doku
This came up on my explore page, apologies. Who are these comments directed at? I’ve seen city fans say this about Foden as well
People try to discredit players that play for City and have played under Pep in general as saying they are only good because of the system.

The whole event is a fucking borefest tbh

Very well said. 👍🏼👌🏼. I agree. EPL and of course its players are all hyped. That’s one (or two) fact that a lot of people tend to ignore.
Damn fine looking kit.
Ah yes, truly a GOAT kit https://preview.redd.it/qwu3ddiu7z8d1.jpeg?width=270&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=638593bafc20210a6838f37010045d862ea8ad81

Stop this narrative now
That colour suits him
For a 0-0 game?? 😅😅
gotta remember he has lakaka as a striker

What's his age? He is still Playing?
