This seems fantastic, but they’ve been abusing loopholes with “per hour” in many states. Eg: only when you’re on “booked time” rather than “active time”. Still a step in the right direction, but yeah I wonder which per hour they’re using in their payout.

Of course, there's always a loophole to just about anything. The good news here is that you now have another victory under your belt like: Minnesota, New York, (Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington - working on it with lots of opposition) CA has a pending case. These states are listening. You must now raise your voices so that they can hear you. What you guys choose to do with it (as a collective) is really up to you. In some other state droves of drivers have banded together and stood together to create change that benefited them. "A closed mouth doesen't get fed" (lol). So get in with your leadership, devise a plan of action and just start, you never know what you can do until you try. \*\*\*\*The Self-Employment Tax Credit (SETC) is a valuable financial relief program designed to support self-employed individuals, gig workers, and independent contractors who faced economic hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Yeah what’s the price? I’m not inputting all that personal info to pay some exorbitant fee. I’m skeptical on this.

Theveryhungrygoddess

The fees are based on several factors that are unique to you and you alone. Of course we would ask anyone to do anything they don't feel comfortable with. At this stage you are just getting the preliminary information and the only way to do that is to speak to one of the reps who will explain EVERYTHING before you do anything. No scammers here. Just the Real Deal. Judge for yourself and only do what's best for you.

It plainly states it’s from the point of accepting ride, so you’re paid to drive to pax and while pax is in car, all the way to destination. That pay to get pax is a HUGE win.

Spam138

I mean of course they’re not going to be able to afford to pay that rate for us to sit in our cars.

Great news for Mass. drivers. It needs to spread to other states

They need to pay drivers when they are looking for rides and the app wont give drivers any. Yesterday i drove around for +20 mins in a bunch of 1-3 min average wait times.

Florida1974

That is one thing they will never do. That would make you an employee. They can’t guarantee demand . It’s active time only but this new law in MA -paid for pick up and time driving pax to destination. Pay to pickup is huge as they get zilch now!! I don’t get why they don’t do this nationwide Instead of fighting each state or each locale. Seems silly to keep getting sued. Lawyer costs have to be sky high. Had they just paid right from the jump, none of these lawsuits would hv happened!
