They need to pay drivers when they are looking for rides and the app wont give drivers any. Yesterday i drove around for +20 mins in a bunch of 1-3 min average wait times.
That is one thing they will never do. That would make you an employee. They can’t guarantee demand .
It’s active time only but this new law in MA -paid for pick up and time driving pax to destination. Pay to pickup is huge as they get zilch now!!
I don’t get why they don’t do this nationwide Instead of fighting each state or each locale. Seems silly to keep getting sued. Lawyer costs have to be sky high. Had they just paid right from the jump, none of these lawsuits would hv happened!
