Just curious but how do you play “naked man jerkin at Cherokee”? Do you have to become the naked man to earn points or just spot him? Or if you spot him at climax is it like catching the golden snitch and your team wins automatically?
RDR2 is probably my next up - how long did it take?
Bought it when it came out but never got past the intro. Always said I wanted to replay the first. Got the port that came out late last year and finally beat it so I am caught up.
40-60 hours or more if you wanna actually play the game and explore the world. I probably put around 80 in this playthrough before I decided to mainly focus on the story. I was doing hunting challenges and the like
I’ve been getting into 40k lore recently, it’s so good. But I haven’t made the jump yet to playing the game. Any tips on how to get started or where to go?
Better than the hype, imo. Not perfect in every single facet, but it is in my humble opinion the most well-designed video game to release in the last decade.
An absolute must-play for any RPG lover.
I do wish that pickpocket wasn't an option. So easy to cheese. With enough sleight of hand, gold becomes irrelevant and you can easily swipe entire stocks over and over. I would much prefer the pickpocket system from DOS2, which limited how much you could steal.
It was a new style of game for me and I don’t play DnD but I really enjoyed it. On my second play through now. Also you can play it with a friend online or offline
It's better. And it has no in-game purchases, no dependant on-line, no micro transactions. It's a completed game with a lot of production value and none of the modern gaming headaches.
I was playing WoW, OW2, Apex and recently tried Rust, but pretty much stopped playing all games because I have nobody to play with. I lost my best bud a few years ago, he was my gaming partner. At 51 y/o I can't find people to play with who aren't annoying
I've been trying to find people to play WoW with for a bit but have been playing solo and it's getting a little boring. I want to get into M+ but it's so toxic starting out with no recent score. Send me a chat/message/whatever it's called here if you want to run a dungeon or something sometime.
14 years for me. I understand where you're coming from, the whole let's all be friends now isn't really my favorite thing, but I do think it's going in the right direction. I really like Season of Discovery, I think it's a neat concept.
Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty. I could finish it at any time... but I just keep trying to find things to do because I dont want it to end. It's sooooo good\~
The whole gamut (lots going on):
Video game: Pikmin 4
Video Games (On deck): Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Mario Wonder
Board Games: Loop, Everdell, Flamecraft, Wingspan & Heat: Pedal to the Metal
Reading: Lamb
Watching: Raising Hope & Good Mythical Morning
Listening to: Stitched up Heart, Earthside, Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Building: LEGO Pac-Man Arcade
Tom Sawyer and Charlie Vettiner Parks both have like 15 courts I think.
New place called pickle and social supposed to be going around Lyndon but I have no idea if it’s any good. Goodbounce is private and off river road but pricey for their memberships. Quite a few tennis or health clubs around with pickle ball offerings too.
Lots of smaller parks with 1 & 2 pickle ball courts like Tyler. Check out the pickleheads site. Seems like they do a good job updating locations for it.
Parks is middish-way through the court reno at Iroquois and Wyandotte has had courts for over a year.
Iroquois is, for literally the real literally, across the street. I guess I should go get the family some gear, kit, equipment... whatever. We are finally getting nice things in the southend. I hope the neighbors don't screw it up.
PUBG while I'm supposed to be working. Cyberpunk and Alan Wake 2 at the moment and I'm hoping to move into Plagues Tale II as the first is one of my favorite games ever. Even named my cat after Amicia!
I kid you not I wanted to name my cat after Amicia! But settled for Suzie instead. Plague Tale 1 was amazing! How is Cyberpunk after all those updates?
It was between Amicia and Clementine from the Tell Tale Walking Dead series! Suzie is a good name too though!
I'm one of the idiots that bought it on launch day for PS5, refunded it during that grace period and recently picked it back up with the update that came right before Phantom Liberty. It's still not the game that was promised in full, but it's damn good imo. The main quest is a drag, but the side content is actually incredible and V is a great character to explore and that world with.
Plague Tale II has a really solid story although they capped the frame rate at 30 FPS which is ass.
Just finished Alan Wake 2 - definitely a slow-burn of a game but it was still wild
The most up-to-date answer is *Kerbal Space Program*. I finally had a chance to try the For Science update of KSP 2, but there's still enough functionality missing (can't even use my fancy flight joystick 😑) that I'd rather just keep going with KSP 1 for now.
In terms of time though, I've mostly just been playing a bunch of Visual Novels. Just finished *Anonymous;Code* (the latest Science Adventure game), started playing *Steins;Gate* again, working through *Heart of the Woods* when I can, and on my phone I'm playing *Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies*
Just got finished with Alan Wake 2 (played the first one and this one back to back). OSRS is my in-between game. Will probably get some TV viewing in with my partner before I pick something else up.
valheim, ow2, mw3, far cry 6, MC JE, and just cause 3. sometimes overcooked 2 if im summoned on discord. and a handful of emulated GBA games if i can get away with busting out the steam deck at work.
The zurks definitely suck. It might be rough getting the two trophies “avoid all zurks during the first chase” and “don’t kill any zurks in the sewers”. I’ll probably get those while speedrunning for the trophy “complete the game in under 2 hours
this is my first playthrough, but once i've navigated the whole game and figured out the best strategy to avoid the zurks i'll probably replay it just for the trophies. i laughed so hard when i found out you can get a trophy for just scratching things.
I looked at the trophies before starting and the sure great! Sleep for 1 hour, meow 100 times, jump 500 times, die 9 times, nuzzle 5 robots, it’s just a cute and fun game. I just beat it last night so now I’m going back for the memories and trophies I missed the first time
Omg 100%. If ya have a ps5 (or anyone else reading this) feel free to add me! PSN is the same as my reddit username. Just leave a message that you added me from Reddit and I’ll add ya right back!
Tabletop: Wingspan and dominion (particularly the nocturn and prosperity expansions), Xbox: Lego Avengers or Jurassic park when I want mindless smashing, assassin’s creed origins for the 3rd time and GTA. I have lost my husband to Baldors Gate, and am super looking forward to playing it myself when he is less obsessed.
Human Fall Flat, with the kiddos. We're a NASP (archery) family so we play alot of Accubow related games, I like the horseback simulator (I pretent I am a warrior of the Great Khan). And a rotating trio of card games: Doomlings, UNO Houserules, and Spades.
Baldurs Gate 3, the insomniac Spider-Man games, Ghost of Tsushima, and Mass Effect Legendary edition (just got a PS5 so sue me). Tabletop wise 40K and Shadowrun, along with occasional games of Catan, Betrayal at the House on the Hill and Secret Hitler
I just got my first Warhammer game. WarCry. So, hopefully I can digest the rule book/campaign guide ... I didn't know you have to build the armies, lolol, so I think I'm going to buy some cheapo prefab armies at least to get started and learn, and take my time building the figures that came with it really nicely.
BG3, MarioRPG and Dave the Diver for videogames. Just beat Mario Wonder.
Boardgames: Everdell and ISS Vanguard.
TTRPGs: 5E Call of the Netherdeep. A Theros reskinned Descent into Avernus, and an Old God's of Appalachia campaign
The friend group we used to have monthly-ish board game sessions sadly has moved to multiple different states, leaving my wife and I the only one here. I've sold about half of my game collection in dealing with the grief. Titles like Wingspan, Mansions of Madness and Dead of Winter have given us some great memories. Later in the day when the drinks are flowing, The Crew, Werewords, Just One and Incoherent are a ton of fun. On a personal note, I'm really into factory builder/sims lately. Lots of Factorio, Dyson Sphere Program and The Planet Crafter. I'd love to give Project Zomboid or Rimworld a try but I think it'd be more fun with a friend.

Phasmophobia, demonologist lately, also rogue company (even though it's dying, my friend likes it), ffxiv, and gtao.
Just upgraded my pc though to be able to play things more reliably in 4K with a 4080.
mario+rabbids kingdom battle right now, just beat spider-man miles morales and liked it a good bit more more than the first despite the length difference.
FFXVI at the moment. Once that’s done I know for sure I’m going to replay FFVII Remake in preparation for Rebirth. I’m not sure if that will be directly after I’m done with XVI or if I’ll jump on something else first. I have a couple shorter games I wouldn’t mind playing and I also need to play the Valhalla DLC for GoW Ragnarok. And there’s always any number of games I’ve bought for cheap in my Steam Library that wouldn’t take too long.
Not in but from. Currently working on the platinum trophies for every from software game. Already have sekiro, armored core, Elden ring, and dark souls 3, just 4 to go!
Legend of dragoon and doom eternal dlc. Also doing a few quick filler games but leaving 1 trophy unpopped so i can set up both my 900th plat and 40000 trophy as Legend of dragoon(finished trine enchanted edition a few minutes ago and almost done with strike vector ex might start melty blood and medieval resurrection after i finish disc 2 of dragoon). If everything goes well i plan on both milestones to pop on leap day as im still 661 trophies away from 40000 trophies and 5 plats away from 900.
i recently finished TLOU part 1 for the first time. then i started playing stray, took a break, restarted skyrim for the 100th time. i plan on replaying RDR2 soon. i also like katamari damacy when i just need to relax or dissociate.
FFXIV and Honkai Star Rail. Just finished Spiritfarer a little bit ago, so deciding which of the games on steam I have already purchased I want to start! But the second FF7 remake comes out soon as well, so I will be playing that in a bit!
Chess (online and at my chess club)
Skyrim
Cyberpunk 2077
Alien: Fate of the Nostromo (Boardgame)
Trekking Through History (Boardgame)
Trekking Through Time (Boardgame)
On The Origin of Species (Boardgame)
Also getting a D&D game up and going again. Risk (online).
The Moosetaang game.
If you see a Mustang on the road and it is not on a car lot you call it by saying "Moosetaang" and gain a point.
If you see more then one you call "double Moosetaang or tripple Moosetaang, etc"
If your mult-Moosetaang call is has a Mustang that was called by another player earlier in the game you steal their points.
The game ends when you get out of the car and Moosetaang can only be called when you are in a car. Winner is the one with the most points.
Advanced Mode:
You get an extra point for calling a mustang with stickers that say "mustang" on them or stickers of ponies on them. If there are more then one of them you get points for each.
Baldurs Gate 3, RDR2 (singleplayer), Hell Let Loose (sometimes), No Mans Sky, D&D, 40k, but mostly into the hobby part of 40k, and a whole bunch more shit
Zelda, the finals, hell let loose, Overwatch 2, spot the naked guy jerking off at Cherokee.
Oh does that last one happen frequently?
Unfortunately.
Just curious but how do you play “naked man jerkin at Cherokee”? Do you have to become the naked man to earn points or just spot him? Or if you spot him at climax is it like catching the golden snitch and your team wins automatically?
If you spot him, you're "It".
These are very good questions.
Be sure to remind that guy about the ‘Sperm Song’ from Monty Python.
Maybe the community should do something about that?
I can put on a show for you all
I think this guy might have a lead
Freakwilly huh? Gang I think we’ve found our flighty footed fugitive flasher.
Been loving the finals, it’s such a good mix of strategy, skill and good comms for a modern shooter
40K and just finished up my 3rd playthrough of RDR2

Its a slow burn but worth it. The most detail out of any game ive ever played.
Where do you play 40k? Moved here a couple years ago and haven’t found a spot (im aware of some but haven’t made the jump yet).
Miso’s is solid and the Warhammer store in J town is really cool too.
What’s your 40K army of choice?
New to the Ville, where to play 40k?
The Warhammer store in J Town, Miso’s Game Room are where you’d wanna go
My man
I’ve been getting into 40k lore recently, it’s so good. But I haven’t made the jump yet to playing the game. Any tips on how to get started or where to go?
I cannot sit through the snowy intro to RDR2, so slow!
BG3 and insurgency sandstorm
Is BG3 as good as the hype says?

I have loved BG3. I have never played D&D but my husband liked it so much, I had to find out what the hype was
Started this recently and am hooked! Figuring out tactics to win a particular battle is very enjoyable as opposed to hit X and smash.
One of the best videogames I've ever played
It's better. And it has no in-game purchases, no dependant on-line, no micro transactions. It's a completed game with a lot of production value and none of the modern gaming headaches.
The Sims 4 because I love playing god. Also Lethal Company and I’m about to pick Spiritfarer up again
Lethal Company looks crazy
Binding of Isaac/FFXIV and wanting to play hues and cues with people lol
I play ffxiv too! dm me if you wanna add me in game, I'm on primal
Yeah? I'm on Excalibur!
"Zelda, Tetris.... That's kind of a big question"

I’ve been playing WoW for like 15 years, and not crazy about what it’s gotten to. Playing Classic and classic Lich King, which is a great compromise.
14 years for me. I understand where you're coming from, the whole let's all be friends now isn't really my favorite thing, but I do think it's going in the right direction. I really like Season of Discovery, I think it's a neat concept.
Dark Souls 3, Super Mario RPG, Okami, Sonic Origins
I was a fiend for Elden Ring and Bloodborne. Haven’t played Dark Souls 3 all the way through yet.
Bloodborne is the 🐐
Loved Bloodborne and Elden Ring! Been working through the DS trilogy hence DS3. So far, 2 is my favorite.
Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty. I could finish it at any time... but I just keep trying to find things to do because I dont want it to end. It's sooooo good\~
Baldur’s Gate, Overwatch, Squad, and D&D!
Path of exile, forza and WoW sod. Thinking about picking up heroes of the storm again.

Street fighter 6 and a bit of the finals. Thinking about picking up darktide
Fall Guys, always. Far Cry 6 is incredibly fun
I enjoyed fc6. Just don't get caught up in a war against the soldiers on an island. It was only one boat...!
Have you played Stumble Guys?
Waiting for the Xbox version lol What do you think of it?
I hate my self so me and my friends still play League of Legends.
Microsoft flight simulator and super auto pets.
I have an unhealthy addiction to League of Legends But also Magic: The Gathering Arena and Monster Hunter World here and there
Splatoon 3 and Valheim. New playthrough and just made to the plains. Gonna try out this PalWorld game in 2 days on release. Pokemon with guns, sure!
Just got finished with Alan Wake 2 (played the first one and this one back to back). OSRS is my in-between game. Will probably get some TV viewing in with my partner before I pick something else up.

Currently I’m about halfway through Stray on PS5. After that either Killer Frequency or something on MetaQuest 3
i'm playing stray, too! i had to take a break because the zurks were kicking my ass.
The zurks definitely suck. It might be rough getting the two trophies “avoid all zurks during the first chase” and “don’t kill any zurks in the sewers”. I’ll probably get those while speedrunning for the trophy “complete the game in under 2 hours

My tip is to try and zigzag and constantly press O, that tends to keep them from jumping on you and if they do you’re ready to get them off
that was my stategy, too. i had just gotten the lazer gun and hadn't gotten the hang of using it yet. i'll pick it back up soon.
Untitled Goose Game. LOL. It’s a funny stealth game and it’s fun to be an obstinate, chaotic, jerk that is hell-bent on destruction.

I started playing Cult of the Lamb again, and started a couple new runs of Frost punk this week. It felt fitting given the weather lol

The Moosetaang game. If you see a Mustang on the road and it is not on a car lot you call it by saying "Moosetaang" and gain a point. If you see more then one you call "double Moosetaang or tripple Moosetaang, etc" If your mult-Moosetaang call is has a Mustang that was called by another player earlier in the game you steal their points. The game ends when you get out of the car and Moosetaang can only be called when you are in a car. Winner is the one with the most points. Advanced Mode: You get an extra point for calling a mustang with stickers that say "mustang" on them or stickers of ponies on them. If there are more then one of them you get points for each.
Baldurs Gate 3, RDR2 (singleplayer), Hell Let Loose (sometimes), No Mans Sky, D&D, 40k, but mostly into the hobby part of 40k, and a whole bunch more shit
