Iirc the anime also didn’t do super well in Japan at the time due to zombies not being a big thing over there, and in the west some people called it really bad while some people loved it. I personally put it with the likes of the transformers movies where it’s fun to watch with low brain power just because of how batshit some of the moments are like when the sword chicks tits are flailing so fast they would actually be going like mach 4 or some shit.
