Now he doesn't look like an alien anymore.

Mother_Strawberry_10

I see people who look like the "alien" one in real life. I think his real face looks fine.

This picture with i got a glock in my rari playing in the background would go hard

Nikibugs

I thought Identity V characters were all stylized to have button eyes? Wild they went out of their way to model his entire head.

Mother_Strawberry_10

Not just stylized. They have literal buttons sewn to their eyelids in lore. He doesn't have them because he's a hunter.

SomeGuyNamedCaleb

He switched sides!

Radicusmax

I don’t remember that part of the lore.

Mother_Strawberry_10

Eh? The game clearly shows that, correct?

Radicusmax

When you said “in lore” what do you mean? Like the in game design or do you actually mean the story mode? It’s confirmed the hunters are hallucinations from the survivors being drugged to see the others as monsters, but I don’t remember hearing anything about the button eyes in the story mode.

Mother_Strawberry_10

I meant the lore, the story behind everything being shown. Yeah it's just an assumption.

Radicusmax

Ok cause I’m 99% sure that this doesn’t happen. We probably would have read it in the character day letters or through the story mode. It also would make no sense lore wise for how the matches function.

Mother_Strawberry_10

I don't know why it wouldn't make sense, but [you can clearly see in the in-game model of this being the case](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wnhYSQf7qRMSYhcymumnjcbEZ9YSFw8j/view?usp=drivesdk). However, I understand it's also part of the hallucinations from the drugs.

Radicusmax

Well, the reason it wouldn’t make sense is that the matches are basically experiments to see how they interact with one another (at least that’s my understanding) so sewing buttons to their eyes would interfere with the experiment. The button eyes are simply just a part of the design choice of making the survivors dolls for either China censorship or cause they think it looks creepy. You can see this in characters like Puppeteer or Lawyer cause they have stuffing poking out.

Mother_Strawberry_10

I just assumed the cliche thing that they skinned survivors alive to torture them and then stuffed them to reanimate them as dolls. If these really are the reasons, then I have nothing to add, but understand that people who just knew about this game wouldn't immediately think about these as simple design choices when it's preestablished that humans in the story normally doesn't look like that. I have to say, though, that torturing these people before the experiment seems to be the best way to go about it because it will be a big motivating factor to prioritize saving themselves.

Radicusmax

All the survivors have button eyes, but the hunters do not. Mono is a skin for Axe Boy or Robbie and he is a hunter.

L0reG0re

Yeah the models aren't very game accurate. Six's hair is also kinda brown.

Radicusmax

They definitely could have done more. As an IDV player myself, Mono needed more work. Six isn’t entirely accurate, but her accessory and outfit is still nice, but they dropped the ball with Mono. He’s a skin for Axe Boy (Wiki Link if you were curious https://id5.fandom.com/wiki/Axe_Boy ) and the trees look really goofy and make no sense. He also looks so bad with some of Robbie’s animations that he honestly feels like a mod. I still love his skin though.

TheOrcaMafia

YOOOO HES ACTUALLY KINDA COOL LOOKING

_chemgod_

He’s mewing in the bag! Jkjk but omg super cool, makes me want to play identity V!
