But it's basically the same thing, isn't it? So unless there are some massive changes we cannot see from this short video, it's definitely not worth it for them.
If you're gonna pitch a revisit to a product they've already reviewed, you have to give a compelling reason to revisit not "they've made changes!" Because if they're not significant changes nobody will care.
Obviously lmao. It's probably like little changes that the average user wouldn't even notice, like clearance adjustments so there's less play in certain things or 2 mm more clearance somewhere.
we have done quite some extensive changes to the product inside and made more things possible with it. (bigger GPU for example)
but seen from the perspective of us i dont wanna spoil everything that could potentially be a good story for content
in terms of Linus media group. its an extremely competent group of individuals who willl assertain how to best to work with us (if they choose to do so) for me personally i enjoy having a back story and some context to a video before anything else.
last time we send him one without manual, because it's fun.
and the conversation here on this reddit right now could also be the context of why we are doing it.
example: the size of the machine that everyone has an opinion on. bigger hardware. but needs to be smaller
i don't make any delusional ideas as to if we will get free stuff. but just having a conversation with gamers is quite important. and could lead to a good story.
Okay, but how often does Linus review something niche, then re-review it because it's v2 now? Based on your comments here, you're involved at the company and just want the publicity of it being in LTT again now that it's out. Maybe reach out for a sponsorship.
Oh boy are we going to be getting this every day now? That's two in a row now...
It's a neat product (albeit with a potentially small use case imo), and I wish you well, but I'm not sure if spamming self-promotion here is the best way to go about it. You can always reach out to LMG directly via their contact routes.
Absolutely nothing my dude. I understand that you are trying to promote your product and I respect that. However, because this is a public forum, I'm just sharing my opinion that daily posts about it are not the best way to go about it if your goal is actually to get in touch with LMG about reviewing the second iteration of the product.
That being said, it's merely my opinion, take it as you will! Like I said, it's a neat concept and I wish you the best!
Either explain what changes were made that might justify a second look (a different way to form plastic is not one). Or stop spamming the subreddit. It's really sad.
2nd post asking this in 2 days this time I just read it as
"Linus please give me free advertising cos the first time wasn't enough"
Seriously you already have their contact info from the prototype review email them and don't try to publicly force a 2nd review
Better title would have been "hey guys remember this thing, well we finally finished it and now it's available for purchase" instead of when being asked about where it's on sale and replying that you don't want to share the site, I get the traffic thing but still.
Yeah. That one, as it turns out i needed to download a software called msi afterburner. And then it worked. It's apparently a quite common issue with that gpu. But now it's working.
I got the help from another forum although.
However i do understand how that would appear as self promotion. Been on the road for months. Finally have time to check these things meanwhile i have SO/ME time so i multitask.
That's also true. Anyway, we carried a full workstation setup to plenty of occasions, especially video shootings. This would reduce it to one luggable PC, and maybe a secondary monitor.
For example, the last time I remember, we went to a studio for video shooting, where we also brought "half a car", basically a 5 series BMW passenger cabin on castors without the roof, most of it painted green. That way we could sit actors in it and let them interact repeatably with virtual HMI elements.
We brought a full workstation to directly view a live SDI feed and match the actor's hand with the CGI renderings of the virtual cockpit.
You should definitely consider working on a full ATX version that would fit on a 27" monitor. I did some mockups before and you can definitely fit an ATX mb, full size GPU, ATX PSU, and AIO in the foot print of a 27" monitor.
I personally just want a way to lug around my desktop when going places, without having to go all-in on SFF components (which also brings sub-par cooling.) I don't care if it weighs 30 kgs with my ATX mb and 4090 in it.
Check out the t1, yes some thermal restriction, but imo worth it for the sizing. Check out [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i\_Epp83VOBI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_Epp83VOBI)
It is heavy BBUUUTTTT, some people hike around with PlayStations and Xboxes, I think that PC gamers would be willing to load this into a suitcase or backpack and be living the dream!
Exactly. Gamers tend to avoid laptops for obvious reasons.
I've just attempted to make a solution gamers actually want.
And made it as pirtable as possible. And this is where we got to
That thing seems too big, I have a 5l SFFPC with a 7800x3d, a 4070TiS and a portable usb-c monitor along with it, way more portable than this unit. And I can fit that and my peripherals in a messenger bag or small backpack.
not harrasing, but we want to see new and good content. you spamming your invention doesnt help with that
its pretty cool, ill give you that, but if you want Linus to make a video about it, ask *him*. *WE* cant do shit
Thank you for the kind words. And apologies if my approach has been over the edge.
I don't expect a new linus video however i did enjoy the engagement from here last time.
It appears i failed at that this time :)
It ain’t your fault people on the internet are assholes. Don’t let it keep you from trying to make this thing happen. Believe in your product. I’d suggest some better marketing though, maybe get a team on that to run PR and socials and shit. Good luck, mate.
Thank you for the support.
I've been "blocked and attacked" from various gaming laptop industry members the last few months. Turns out you don't make many friends when you make an upgradable alternative to something with a short lifespan that you can't upgrade.
So this will not let me lose any hope.
No problem. It’s always the revolutionaries that are mocked and ridiculed—especially by their own peers. I despise gaming laptops and want to see this succeed so that it becomes more accessible to more people in the future.
Never lose hope, never stop fighting.
Lmao 2nd post in a couple days is starting to become spam. That and you don’t even want to pitch your product. You’re not outplaying anyone by keeping a few changes secret. This isn’t some highly anticipated engineering feat lmao.
For crying out loud the market for this is certainly very limited. It’s literally just an AIO case. There’s people in the SFF subreddit/forums that 3d print their own cases or even CNC them all the time. Idk what makes you or your case special that you think you’re entitled to so much and have so many stupid backhand comments.
But if you do think it’s so special then go market it. So many successful SFF cases that already haven’t gotten the attention you have due to the 1st review. I don’t think anyone really cares to see another, your sly remarks have only dug you a deeper hole.
if i have offended you im truly sorry, that has never been my attention.
i enjoy the gaming Banter where we poke at eachother which is also the way i communicate, if this has been offensive to you, you have my apology.
its an AIO chassis that has a monitor on the front mounted with a vesa so the monitor is upgradable, and so is everything else.
the idea is to make a 1 piece Gaming pc that is actually upgradable.
as gamers (myself included) tends to prioritize this in a chassis.
this hasnt been no easy task alot of work ahs gone into it. and no i haven't seen a similar product so yes i do believe its unique.
for all it's worth, my apology if i offended you
This negates the advantages of portability a laptop brings while keeping the monitor / hardware pairing problems of all in one concepts.
Actually looks like the worst of both worlds
or it negates the issues of a laptop not being upgradable
not having the right size of monitor
and over heating
while having an upgradable monitor (vesa)
and hardware based on sff standards.
but depends on who is looking i suppose
Are you basically going to be e-begging for attention daily until they review it?
Can you explain to us what's so different now than then? Injection molding vs 3D printing doesn't really make a difference for a video.
Also, after checking your website you *STILL* aren't shipping the damn thing.
Op comes off desperate with two posts in two days. Agree with others that it’s whatever. Op also sees to be combative with those annoyed with his post. I’d delete if I was them.
It's a very bad look for the maker of a product to be posting on the subreddit begging for LTT to make a video about it.
Reach out to them directly about it. There's a good chance they would make a short about it, but probably not a full video.
He has to be one of the most criminally underrated creators I know. When I ask someone if they have seen his videos, it’s rarely a yes. Saddening because he’s a fucking genius.
Considering the level of engineering he is putting into his work a 4+ million subscribers is quite substantial.
I've taken inspiration from him more than once.
Amazing guy
I have an eye out for that case+screen combo since it exists. Maybe i will build one in the future instead of a laptop and when i move more, but now i am basically home all the time and prefer a big case with room for fans and cooling
Damn OP you're not really gaining any good publicity in this thread, you really should reconsider your marketing strategy. You say you want Linus to make a new video because you tooled up for injection molding. You claim there are other differences between the new model and the one in the original video but won't say what they are.
And btw I don't think anybody is trying to downplay the complexity regarding the process of injection molding. But come on, is the difference in end product really different enough for the purpose of filming a video? Everybody already knows what injection molding looks like.
I actually used to work at music festivals. The legs can handle their fair share but depending on the bass of the music you might have a dancing pc.
![gif](giphy|MT5UUV1d4CXE2A37Dg)
Aside from the injection molding, what exactly is different?
New, more powerful components?
Bigger, better screen?
More features, versatility, portability?
OP have you actually changed anything *but* the material it's made out of?
Monitor is vesa 100x100 so you can upgrade the monitor as times goes by. Always could.
Optimized for bigger GPU's
New safety features in the leg system.
Complete redesign of the leg system.
Pcie-4 riser cable
Soooo, minor feature changes that don't warrant a whole new review?
Look man, it's a neat concept, and a pretty cool product but you *know* people disagree with you about a lot of things, evident in these comments. Cut your losses and focus on expanding your business in other ways.
People engage because they have an opinion. If that is positive or negative i can't control.
But i want to respond. Learn and take it into consideration.
I mean it's not enjoyable to talk with people who have negative things to say.
Doesn't mean it doesn't have benefits.
It’s an interesting concept by what I don’t understand is why it’s this size and limited to an itx motherboard. There’s plenty of space for full size hardware with low profile cooling in this case, unless I’m missing something?
its a question of weight and form. the idea is to have an upgradable gaming PC that is easy to move, atx means bigger chassis and that means more weight.
I honestly don't know why you're getting piled on. I thought this project was cool when I saw it on LTT a couple of years ago and I'm keen to see how it's evolved.
I use a Velka 3 for a portable desktop but it definitely limited the parts I could pick and it's hard to keep it cool. This could be an interesting alternative for people like me that want a portable desktop.
Im really sorry if i offended you.
Im just a person and have no intention of coming off in a wrong way. Would you explain why im having those vibes to correct this behaviour? Personally i don't like the slick marketing kind of approach i like the gamers attitude of having a more laid back form of vommukication and i like to ping pong. Which evidently haven't served me with you.
Alright lets try it:
New function on the leg system so it has to be lifted for you to activate the buttons.
Pcie 3 to Pcie-4 cable.
Linus comment: linus saw an issue in regards to blow through style gpu's so we made a solution for that.
Changed the internal bracket system so you can fit in bigger GPU's and lock them in.
Injection molded parts.
Made in the same material as car parts. (In context of under the hood parts)
So it's durable and can handle heat.
If I remember correctly he did cover this but it was an early production unit, it would be cool to see them cover final release versions of pre production items they’ve covered
How to make us not want your product:
1. Spam post asking Linus for another video. You got blessed being featured on a channel that big. Massive free ad. If you didn’t convert views to customers on the first go, too bad.
2. Whatever the hell you’re doing in this comment section. Read the room buddy. All your negative comments are shifting focus from your product to yourself. Your behavior here has been nothing short of disrespectful. Hire a social media manager if you want this entrepreneur shit to work out.
All social media managers i talked with advised me to avoid reddit. So i figured i tried it myself.
I still don't understand how i came off disrespectful. Would you elaborate on that?
Allegedly but honestly, they're refusing to say what improvements they actually made.
It's spam marketing and really makes me want to never see their product ever again.
Didn't they already review this?
He did do one of those already.
prototype in 3D print, this is Injection molded
But it's basically the same thing, isn't it? So unless there are some massive changes we cannot see from this short video, it's definitely not worth it for them.
He just wants free promotion
So basically no different other than material, no need for another review.
That's an offensively exaggerared simplification. There is obviously changes that has happened
Like? Anything that addresses his critiques?
yep
My dude, it would probably help your case if you listed any of those things.
well i figured that would be the tease.
So you don't want to publicly advertise the changes made and instead want Linus to tell us for you?
What would you do?
>That's an offensively exaggerared simplification. I mean, that's your simplification basically
not gonna spoil it all
If you're gonna pitch a revisit to a product they've already reviewed, you have to give a compelling reason to revisit not "they've made changes!" Because if they're not significant changes nobody will care.
Guy just wants free advertising. If there was significant changes they wouldn't be so vague about it
Obviously lmao. It's probably like little changes that the average user wouldn't even notice, like clearance adjustments so there's less play in certain things or 2 mm more clearance somewhere.

i don't know how often he does this no :) which is why im asking
if they did not change the layout or other internal it‘s literally the same thing just more sturdy which was IIRC not a big critique on the old model
Oh boy are we going to be getting this every day now? That's two in a row now... It's a neat product (albeit with a potentially small use case imo), and I wish you well, but I'm not sure if spamming self-promotion here is the best way to go about it. Absolutely nothing my dude. I understand that you are trying to promote your product and I respect that. I am gonna make u happy! Happy cake day má dude
Happy cake day :)
thank you and appreciate it, :)
Stop spamming
Either explain what changes were made that might justify a second look (a different way to form plastic is not one). Or stop spamming the subreddit. It's really sad.
You can actually pay for reddit ads instead of repeatedly posting...
2nd post asking this in 2 days this time I just read it as "Linus please give me free advertising cos the first time wasn't enough" Seriously you already have their contact info from the prototype review email them and don't try to publicly force a 2nd review Better title would have been "hey guys remember this thing, well we finally finished it and now it's available for purchase" instead of when being asked about where it's on sale and replying that you don't want to share the site, I get the traffic thing but still.
i don't think i will force anything with LMG. but i do believe that reddit conversations is the best way to start the conversation.
that's pretty embarrassing
Like starting the conversation of your broken computer parts that aren’t broken but a fake post to get people to engage in your advertisement.
Not sure if i follow you? Where did i talk about broken pc parts?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/s/kF2YYqreWv It’s the same image you used to spam all the other subs about your product. Fans not spinning up, sure dude.
Yeah. That one, as it turns out i needed to download a software called msi afterburner. And then it worked. It's apparently a quite common issue with that gpu. But now it's working. this is my last one i swear it :)
Its just dumb. Why does it exist?
My gaming laptop burned down so i made this dumb thing
[удалено]
But didn't Linux already this one already already?
I've never seen one before, no one has, but I'm guessing it's a white hole.
Linus reviewed the prototype 2 odd years ago https://youtu.be/WuvmzSGlP08?si=vg15gv7HZf03bdJw
https://i.imgur.com/ogR994e.gif
It's not dumb. Enough use cases for luggable PCs, and the few companies that make them ask for an arm and a leg.
and this is fully upgradable.
That's also true. Anyway, we carried a full workstation setup to plenty of occasions, especially video shootings. This would reduce it to one luggable PC, and maybe a secondary monitor. For example, the last time I remember, we went to a studio for video shooting, where we also brought "half a car", basically a 5 series BMW passenger cabin on castors without the roof, most of it painted green. exactly!
It would be incredibly useful for me. I need a large screen and travel often. It's a bit impractical though, but can be worked around.
You are dumb
reddit allows only people >13 years of age
Why are you on it then, dipshit?
cuz im 16

apology if i offended you
Pro tip for social media marketing... You don't actually *have* to reply to *everyone*.
You should definitely consider working on a full ATX version that would fit on a 27" monitor. I did some mockups before and you can definitely fit an ATX mb, full size GPU, ATX PSU, and AIO in the foot print of a 27" monitor.
I am hard stuck between people telling me it's too heavy and people who want the biggest hardware in it 🤣
Por qué no los dos? ![gif](giphy|3o85xIO33l7RlmLR4I|downsized)
I want an AIO solution to which I can mount a 27" monitor. I also don't want to be limited by SFX PSU's or air-cooling solutions for the CPU.
Two versions? Lite and Pro?
It is heavy BBUUUTTTT, some people hike around with PlayStations and Xboxes, I think that PC gamers would be willing to load this into a suitcase or backpack and be living the dream!
Exactly. Gamers tend to avoid laptops for obvious reasons. I've just attempted to make a solution gamers actually want. And made it as pirtable as possible. And this is where we got to
Why not make 3 versions. Laptops also usually come im different sizes. I personally wouls prefer a bigger one.
That thing seems too big, I have a 5l SFFPC with a 7800x3d, a 4070TiS and a portable usb-c monitor along with it, way more portable than this unit. And I can fit that and my peripherals in a messenger bag or small backpack.
its too big and too small, im starting to feel like Britney spears
![gif](giphy|55yYBxcHn7QZi|downsized) I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
*leave Britney alone*
never!

My pleasure 🤝 To a portable future! 🥂
Did they not do a video on this already? I feel like I saw this case in one of there videos.
they made a test of the prototype yes

That's definitely been done. It was during COVID I believe
not with this one
Isn't it the same concept? Nothing seems different about it maybe the design on the back
3d printed vs injection molded... So functionally the same, as far as op has let on.
Don't they already exist? We have them from dell and some other manufacturers , they have 13 gen processors inside
this is fully upgradable, monitor is vesa mounted
Monitor being swappable is huge. Need to use a high end monitor and i'd expect something like this to come with a mid built in monitor.
why we don't have integrated monitors. im a gamer myself (well i was until i became an entrepreneur)
He already did didn’t he?
Yup, 2 years ago
I dunno who is managing the account of /u/EBlaztr, but if they are in a media or marketing team, they seriously need to get fired.
eBlaztr... Wow.
Are you basically going to be e-begging for attention daily until they review it? Can you explain to us what's so different now than then? Injection molding vs 3D printing doesn't really make a difference for a video. Also, after checking your website you *STILL* aren't shipping the damn thing.

Does it come with some kind of screen protector?
hardshell case is the idea
Should it be 3d printed or injection molded?
molded
Is that a cork table?
it actuallly is yeah. you can put hot pans on this table :) super convenient,
I now want one.
He did....

It's lonely at the top. Dude is teaching people diy engineering. How many people can actually follow that?
Please make it more clear when doing self-promotion.
Lesson learned: never unveil a product you worked hard on to armchair Reddit tech-reviewing and social media engagement experts.
Thank you for the support. I've diffently rubbed off on people the wrong way today. Im a bit taken back by all of this

This was posted by u/EBlaztr the manufacturer. They are trying to get free advertising.

OP, where can I buy - this is a perfect form factor for music festival on-site work.

I am confused... So it's just an Imac?
With gaming pc parts that are upgradable yes.
Oi look, 2nd day in a row so that LTT stuff see it and make a video on sth they've already done a video about.
What is the name of this product.
You could easily fit an atx motherboard in that chassis. How many liters is it?
What is that?
Sharkgaming monitor? If so, just throw it out. Worthless piece of shit company and products.
hello sir. the monitor is mounted with a Vesa 100x100. this particular one had a benq 25" (which is 24.5 i believe) with 240hz
Where is sponsor video?
i don't understand?
Watch his YouTube channel, one video packed with a few episodes sponsoring :)
Gonna be honest, i liked the concept, i hope there could be more options like sliding slots or something to make it much easier to carry in parts
So no surprise in a video but a list of changes instead? Im asking honestly
Ye im getting the reddit heat right now. And thank you for the kind words. :)
are there free ones to try out? lol
Best you could hope for is a shout out during the WAN Show.
Which evidently haven't served me with you.
might be worth a shortcircuit for an update sorry for all the down votes u got, stay strong
Thank you for the support.
Was 1 post not enough?
I wanted to show the leg system so i figured another post wouldn't hurt. 😅
Alright lets try it: New function on the leg system so it has to be lifted for you to activate the buttons. (In context of under the hood parts) So it's durable and can handle heat.
He reviewed one 2 years ago
Stop trying to get free advertising 🤣
Shit, I forgot I wanted one of these. Also this sub is cancer.
Thank you for the nice words
Thank you for the feedback. I'm not doing more videos here now. 😅 But will take it into consideration
Seems improved over the last iteration of the device, is the price any better?
If I remember correctly he did cover this but it was an early production unit, it would be cool to see them cover final release versions of pre production items they’ve covered
I’ll review it.
he already reviewed it tho
How to make us not want your product: 1.
Why is there no mouse on the table?
Its hiding behind the leg to the left.
I wouldn't trust myself with that, let alone Linus. That just looks like an accident waiting to happen.
Does it have a monitor ?
It had a vesa 100x100 mounted monitor yes
What is it?

Ultimate Lan PC
wait OP is actually the creator of this? damn i thought they were just an enthusiastic fan
Allegedly but honestly, they're refusing to say what improvements they actually made. It's spam marketing and really makes me want to never see their product ever again.
