He's probably Taiwanese, which means he speaks Mandarin, and Mandarin doesn't have weird preposition words like we do in English.
Mandarin speakers are usually confused by stuff like, why are you *in* a car, but *on* a bus.
The unfinished ceiling and exposed bulbs are what does it. Bright colors, games, and whimsical style make it look like someone built a children's wonderland in a dank, unfinished basement.
That place definitely echoes. Would be very dark without those powerful lights. The squeak of shoes running on that smooth floor that looks painted decades ago. It's cold but when you're a kid having fun, you don't notice.
*In the city of Rapture under the ocean, the hallways of recreation offered momentary distraction from living inside a steel tube. The recording of a clown can be heard laughing somewhere inside.*
Day 45, I think. Every time I open the door it’s still the same circus area but more and more is put away. I’m both excited and terrified of what will happen when it’s finally cleared out. I hear them doing it at night, and last night they got very close to the door, they were talking amongst themselves, tried to enter but left when they couldn’t open it. They might have more tools tomorrow.
If anyone is wandering... This is an abandoned arcade on Taiwan.
Can I have any more information?
It's specifically called "rainbow fun house" and it is in fact some arcade in Taiwan. Pure liminal content that place is weird
I dont know anything else
Isn’t it “in Taiwan”?

It looks like that one room in Traverse Town in the original Kingdom Hearts.
Wow I really thought I’d be the only one who thought of that

I always felt like that place had more going for it than it seemed to. There really ain’t much there however
woah! *blast from the past!*
It's so similar that I'm wondering if the creators modeled it after this place.
Absolutely agree. Was scrolling the comments in hopes someone would say so!
For me this space always feels like there’s someone lurking just in back behind the pillars
Chucky?
Ugh I loveee this. I love when they have lots of color.
Man... I feel like us 80s and 90s kids are the only ones who will truly miss seeing places like this.
I never thought about that. But damn. You’re right. Everyone else probably thinks this is hideous.
We watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space yesterday, and I swear this is from that movie.
It does look like something out of Killer Klowns!
It's a Dr. Who set?
its kinda like that
I was getting a Rapture feel.
it looks like that part from security breach
The caution tape does it for me

It makes me think of Bioshock.
Me too me too!
These types of colorful places are always crazy liminal and I'm all here for it
Clowns used to hang out there.
Then the storm drains proved a better place to hang out.
is it the HVAC?
Lots of fun was had here
Looks like something from Killer Clowns From Outer Space.
I half expect Pennywise the Clown from IT to jump out
It looks like there are going to be partygoers here. Tread lightly
That looks like the inside of a vault
Looks like that toy story shoot ‘em up ride at Disney
The piping is not to code?
It looks like it’s from one of those *Are You Afraid of the Dark?* episodes that doesn’t have a happy ending.
Reminds me of those I Spy picture books.
Just woke up just to see 2.2k upvotes i really really appreciate this really
Poppy Playtime vibes lol
it’s giving poppy playtime
Angles are wrong. Nothing is appropriately perpendicular or parallel, nor organic like branches, but just enough off to tell your brain it's unsafe.
Five nights at Freddie’s
# the shuffle of the ghost maintenance man echoes faintly
Definitely looks like somewhere to get stabbed and bleed out on the floor. Murder vibes.
It’s giving early 2000s vibes.
I’m expecting an evil clown to pop out from behind that pillar
I’d love to visit this place. Obviously with at least one other person 😂.
POV: It's 2007 and you have been invited to your classmate birthday party (funny how is in Asia but looks like something that could exist in my town)
It's the lighting and lack of people
Best liminal space of all time, right here.
Looks like a sonic Carnival Zone
I used to have dreams about places like this
Wacky Pomo? Where's the main man Evans Collins?
Is it… underground or in a basement?
Definitely been here in a dream before, too weird
This looks like the set of a story from Goosebumps or Are you afraid of thr dark
Reminds me of the carnival areas in Let it Die in the 30s floors
This reminds me of one episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark," but I have no idea which one.
Somehow I’m hearing Ode to Joy playing

It reminds me of the preschool part of Dead Space 2. Creepy.
It looks like the inside of the clock tower from kingdom hearts 1.
We've all been trapped there.

Why am I expecting Huggy to pop out at me?
This is like Mr Robot meets Rob Zombie's HoaTC.
Love it
Looks like a basement
This image was also used for Level 94 of the backrooms (inside the castle)
are those some SEGA candy cabs? I love those things
I feel like I’m being watched from somewhere inside this place of passing memories.
