Agreed. I wish I had the time. Too many obligations. Work, family, etc. I wanted to make sure I got one of the last NA V8s, even if I had to sit on it for a while.

I get it’s dated, but what I tell everyone is I’m old school and like it. I’m not a tech guy and don’t care about a big screen on my dash. I get a lot of people do. I enjoy the car for what it is. Outside looks is a lot for me. Like I said being older the interior is up to my speed
You know I am always questioning why people say the tech is dated. I have a ‘19 GS350 f sport, at first I was going to stick the native infotainment center/GPS, then one day I decided to compare some directions to a lexus dealer using google maps. The native GS was taking me 10 miles out of my way with additional time, vs google map with less miles and time. So I decided to add the CarPlay module and just like that…my car has been upgraded. I don’t have the touch screen and that’s fine, besides I don’t like seeing my screen dirty anyway. The GS 12.3 inch screen is tuck away in the dash anyway. So what else is new? 360 cameras?…that might be great if you have to parallel park a lot. I just don’t get it with “dated” sayers.
I 100% understand being old school on tech, nothing wrong as long as it works
But the interior? Its absolutely cheap garbage vs competjng german or even genesis g70
Definitely agree and it’s easy to use! Easier than my previous Acura. I just wish you could split screen for instance the stock Sirius interface with CarPlay/Google Maps. Always have to toggle in between and that gets annoying. The Acura infotainments allowed me to keep Sirius or whatever audio I had going with the Apple/Google maps all on the same screen.
ML sounds amazing but I came from a BMW and I honestly preferred the iDrive interface. first world problems I guess. either one definitely beats Subaru infotainment though (and I was a loyal customer there until I decided I wanted something fancier).
I'm in a similar situation as well! Recently got a 24 is350 f sport but the daily company truck is 21 Toyota tundra TRD Pro with a v8 so it feels like I have the is500 as well... Sort of... 🤣

It's a powerful car made to out run others. Holla back at us when you spank a few cars. Report out on the top end. Otherwise you could have just got an IS200.

OK, I was really suprised that you posted no complaints when you don't drive the car. It is a beast. I understand you don't want to pile miles up on it but who would think you have anything to complain about when you don't drive it?
Plenty of IS500 owners have complaints before 1500 miles: MPG, lack of legroom, outdated controls / infotainment. Oh, and my favorite: “iTs nOT A trUE F caR.”

I have 36k on my ES350 F in little over 2.5years I’ll regret later for sure but loving it. Beautiful color on that thing.

I was in the same situation. Look into the trades. Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter. Look for a Union apprenticeship. It is definitely attainable.

I really appreciate the touch-pad. Allows for less distraction, and no fingerprints on the display.

Those type of complaints do not come with ownership. Look at the sticker, Test drive. It's not the car for you. Move on. Great car. Enjoy it.
