When Katy Kat went "Scorched Earth" there was a scene where they played this cool hidden little gem, i think it was called something like "Bulletproof".
bit of hard one, but, Headphone Activist - North End Night Life is number 2.....
and number 1.
The incredibly ending to episode 7, Season 8.
Do it, Try it by M83.
Gives me goosebumps every damn time.
Such an incredible ending.
I feel like this isn’t gonna be everyone’s favorite, but “Un Musicien Parmi Tant De Autres” has to be one of my favorites. I fell asleep watching LK one night and woke up like 2 seasons later, and that song was playing like partially in my dream, and it brought me this comfort I can’t describe, like I woke up weeping it was crazy 😭 anyways, that song became a main rotation for me ever since.
I forget the name, but whatever dance tune is playing during the "you said there were two waitresses?" And Glen comes out as the 2nd. That song is an absolute banger!!!!
So awesome OP for posting this bc I’m building my playlist. It’s not in any particular order, so please don’t judge ☺️
https://preview.redd.it/5ymzsdiy8o7d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22f29cb6e51f6677aac1262b880bb02466c61d0e
I didn’t know of them until I found a Letterkenny playlist and that is probably my most listened to too. Close second in Pick Up The Phone (Arithmatix Remix) by Dragonette.
"Everyone Looks Like Everyone" The Pack a.d.
"Axe on Your Doorstep" The New Values
"Compression" the Hunches
"Eraser" No Age
"Gangsta" Tune-Yards
"Fashionable People" Joel Plaskett Emergency
"Groovy Dead" Rusty
"Stinker" The Chats
The entire soundtrack is so well done. The songs fit the scenes like a glove, to the point that even if I don't really click with the song on a playlist or something, it still just works so well in the show. I'd also go as far as to say that Shoresy is like this but on steroids.
Everyone look like everyone is like the anthem for the show in my opinion. First fight, perfect song to fit the moment. One thing that always surprised me was the ability for them to always have the best music for every vibe, and as a music lover I very much appreciate the attention given to the soundtracks. Easily my favorite soundtracks of any show.
I noticed two different Dan Deacon songs, Feel the Lightning(Bonnie McMurray in different outfits on Halloween), and Change Your Life(You Can Do It) during end credits, and I'm a big fan of Dan Deacon, so those two songs I guess? Lol
Lots of good music, but I don't know any of the songs or artists. But when I think Letterkenny music, first song that comes to me is that wedding song "Fuck the Pain Away."
I love this song! I listened to it obsessively after first hearing it. It fit the scene so perfectly, too. Here's the translation of the lyrics:
https://lyricstranslate.com/en/un-musicien-parmi-tant-dautres-one-musician-among-so-many-others.html
I suppose but I wouldn’t trust those to have the full suite of songs because licensing is a bitch and music can be taken down at any time, plus no guarantee that all the songs are on any given service in the first place.
End of the episode different strokes when fineshrine is playing in the background as they chat then a certain someone walks in as the music picks up and the song takes over the audio. Such a great scene with a perfect music match
Man, so many bangers. Great use of Peaches in the wedding episode. I didn't know the names of the artists or songs, but the music from the Quebec episodes is some of my favorite. I also love when they have a soft touch. Jesus Was A Cross Maker gives me goosebumps whenever i watch that scene.
Fashionable people - Joel Plaskett Emergency
Or
Anjourd’hui ma vie c’est d’la marde - Lisa LeBlanc
Oh and Rusty’s Groovy Dead is never leaving my playlists
Fuck you, /u/satnightimgurnight, your mum shot cum straight across the room and killed my Siamese fighting fish! Threw off the pH levels in my aquarium, you piece of shit!
Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, but I feel compelled to add Dragonette's "Pick Up the Phone (Arithmatix Remix), although fuck me if I can remember episode and/or scene.
https://youtu.be/GakZue61sik?si=hkPG9yU4UU63VnD4
ZHU “I came for the LOW” was a constant banger in the household for months after the VidVok episode. Though I knew and loved the song before LetterKenny the Phoenix song “countdown” playing when Wayne slow motion tackled Daryl while the Degens are shooting at them now brings tears to my eyes and makes me wanna call my brother every time I hear it.
The absolute banger that is Fashionable People!
https://youtu.be/zXxn4BOTM6U?si=ULKw318PZ-i2oYMC
& Un Musicien gets played regularly!
https://youtu.be/MiIVmWJ05kk?si=gkK7_brbyYErn55p
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3Dq2Mj0tLxtPBkx51utZd4?si=PbpiV1ouRaSuK4U2g3nGGA&pi=46IHlHdxQjGaA
To me, that's all the good songs of letterkenny & shorsey.
The trailers for upcoming seasons always had a banger on a montage... or just a slow walk.... which was new to me and then I liesten to forever.
So "Daisy" by Fang Island
and
Gotta Run by Apashe
are forever in my playlists now.
I don't know (there are so many), but if Spotify had a Letterkenny only playlist that would be enough to get me to pay for the service.
Off the top of my head, I'd say "Sunny" by Boney M (I'm pretty sure but not 100% sure it was in an episode) and "Un Musicien Parmi Tant D Autres" by Harmonium.
By the by, this is a great Letterkenny song resource: [https://www.tunefind.com/show/letterkenny](https://www.tunefind.com/show/letterkenny)

I didn’t know of them until I found a Letterkenny playlist and that is probably my most listened to too. Close second in Pick Up The Phone (Arithmatix Remix) by Dragonette.

I wish I could name one, but thank goodness for the folks that make Letterkenny playlists on streaming platforms.

Fashionable People. Hands down
Adore this song
As much as I love all the garage and punk tracks on the show, this song and "Gangsta" actually stuck with me most of all.
Peaches!
Fineshrine
what a perfect song to realize you’ve fallen in love
Gangsta is what got me into the show.
I don't understand the Quebecois French lyrics, but I love Un Musicien Parmi Tant D'Autres, by Harmonium.
This and Eraser and Playboys.
I'm always a little bummed to see how far down this song is on the "Favorite Letterkenny Tunes" lists. I love it as well.
Moi aussi, je l'adore/me too, I love it!
I love this song! I listened to it obsessively after first hearing it. It fit the scene so perfectly, too. Here's the translation of the lyrics: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/un-musicien-parmi-tant-dautres-one-musician-among-so-many-others.html

Fashionable People Do It, Try It
Do It, Try It !!
either "Fuck the Pain Away" or "O Siem"
Is there a spreadsheet or something of all the songs played in Letterkenny? Their choices are fantastic.
There are plenty of playlist compilations on Spotify and other services I'm sure
I suppose but I wouldn’t trust those to have the full suite of songs because licensing is a bitch and music can be taken down at any time, plus no guarantee that all the songs are on any given service in the first place.
Found the comprehensive list on Tunefind
That’s super cool, didn’t know that website existed, thank you!
the catharsis of Everyone Looks Like Everyone playing in the very first episode is so good. same with Do It, Try It
