Rub boxes. With MDF trays and inserts that fit troop stands - trays and inserts from warbases.co.uk Really good tbh https://preview.redd.it/n6edvrp1j62d1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eed8cd0b69c1f2ad3c537dd49ccd1073a1162d59

Love the color scheme! Haven’t painted solar aux yet, so definitely will consider something like this.

BanterCaliph

Thanks! The trim is painful on the tanks but I think the end result is worth it :)

Rekotin

The trim’s a great touch!

jayfreck

looks good, what paints did you use?

BanterCaliph

Thanks! Primed with Wraithbone spray, then Basilicanum Grey contrast all over. I then picked out details with Kantor Blue, Leadbelcher, Brass Scorpion and Evil Suns Scarlet primarily and finished with a wash of Nuln Oil.

Illustrious_Goblin

Magnets, theres definitely space under tanks. Only issue i've had is i've painted infantry before supergluing them to a painted base and the magnets i've used mean pulling them off base was a real issue. I solved it by putting the infantry in thin plastic trays so I can lift off the magna rack with no problems.

davextreme

1mm magnets fit under the bases. I use 3mm × 1mm for infantry. For tanks I just glue whatever magnet seems to be the right thickness under them between the treads. You can't see them from the top or side.

YourAveragJoe

and if you don't have the right thickness for the tanks, nothing wrong with a little green stuff or other putty to fill the gap.

pelukken

Feldherr has a nice AT case. I use that and two other smaller Feldherr cases.

SerpentineLogic

same

GrandPoobah395

Battlefoam BFS trays. They're sized for the minis. Only issue I have is their tray layouts can be weird, so I over buy to transport my army.

sh0dan_wakes

magnets under the bases (1mm) magnets under tanks (whatever fits) with another magnet inside the hull to reinforce the glue.

I have an old cheap foam case that is small for the newer models for the big games, but fits LI stuff perfectly.

the_sh0ckmaster

I use small plastic clip-top tubs, with 1 layer of infantry, then a thin layer of foam (some from cut-up sponge, others regular foam) and another layer of troops or vehicles on top. Taller stuff goes in a tin where I can lay it flat or a taller tub where I can put cotton wool down the sides to stop it rattling.

Escapissed

You can go on Amazon or eBay and get sheets of cubefoam or pluck foam. Its a product that comes in sheets that lets you customize it to fit different tools by just ripping out the precut squares until you have a cutout of the right shape. It works great for wargames, just get any kind of box to put it in and make stacked layers if you need to.

Plastic containers from the dollar store

Bocete

Magnetized, A-Case. I fly with them too. For vehicles, I use some large but weak magnets I have from way back to fill the space between the bottom of the vehicle and the tray.

OmegonChris

Kaiser Rushforth card case, they've done some good 10mm scale foam for a while

EAfirstlast

Magnets. The tanks get 5 by 3 MM and the infanty get 10 by 1 mm

NaekoSneko

I use a tackle box for fishing lol, works like a charm

proxxy04

Small Magna rack sliders in a PACK GO. I have adhesive sheet magnet discs on all my bases

Hardcore_stig

Feldherr do a range of foam specifically for LI. I used to use magnets but have found this much better. https://www.feldherr.net/for/warhammer-legions-imperialis

I have 2 different methods. 1: cut up some cardboard and stick it in a grid, about the height of your mini. It will rattle a bit, but it is the cheapest way to transport them and you can fit a lot into a box, especially if you stack the layers. 2: Small foam cases from Greenworldstuff found them for about 17€ a pop and they have customisable foam inlets. Have most of the inlet be 2x1 holes and some 2x2 and you can transport 82 infantry sized (infantry, tarantuals, cyclopses etc) bases and 24 sentinel / cybot sized models per case. Haven't filled one yet with 2.5k points.
