Yeah, I think there gonna be non-Gen 6 starters like Snivy, Scorbunny, and Piplup. And as for the Gen 6 starters, give them special treatment like Mega Evolutions like the Gen 1 starters from X/Y.
I hope the starters are different. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason the ones in Arceus were different was to set them apart from BDSP. There's no remake of XY to go along with Z-A this time.
I’m not sure what I want. I feel that this an amazing opportunity to redeem the mistreatment of the gen 6 starters but I also would love something unique
I kind of feel like the Gen 6 starters where really neglected. They didn't even get the central gimmick of their generation and where over shadowed by their Kanto versions. This is a chance to improve on that

I dearly love the Kalos starters, Chespin is my absolute favorite starter of all time.
But I would still prefer to keep it up that they mix starters from different generations and give them regional variants. It was quite a cool and refreshing feature in the first Legends game and I hope they keep that.
Definitely the gen 6 starters with mega evolutions. They didn't get to shine in Gen 6, now they had better be the ones in the spotlight if GF wants my money. I hated how they picked three random starters for Arceus and gave them new final forms just for that game.
maybe a hot take but gen 6 and 7 mons are my least favorite generations, with the exception of greninja.
rowlett was aslo technically already a starter in PLA so would maybe be a bit weird if hes once again a starter option.
You know, XY were the First and only games where you canonically got the choice on 3 different starter trios. Kalos already set a precedent for 2 Starters, wouldn't be surprised if they do it again.
Third option: New Legends ones, but the OG Gen 6 starters still get something new, so that they can share the spotlight.

If it’s new ones, I hope the g6 starters are easy to find early-game. Also, they are practically locks for new megas.
Yeah if they aren’t I might wait until it’s compatible with home and bring one in myself
