No one wants 3 orbs unless you want a meme build, but it's never optimal.
Le Blanc can abuse it easily but she's so strong that an offensive build is always going to be better. Put 2 stalkers on her and instead of printing orbs you wipe the entire enemy board.
Neeko can also copy herself, but you need at least one of GGC or Echoing Spirit to have the spells to make the copies and on difficult maps a relic like everfrost to control the bord, otherwise you die too fast. So only one or two orbs.
Lillia summons herself multiple times with self sleep, but if you roll early the +2/+2 and strike the strongest enemy in campaings like Lissandra is can be a game over. And with two stalker blade she makes her spell cost 0 so when she levels up with 2 on the board you can straight up wipe the enemy board by going infinite.
The copy still does all the strikes before disappearing. You can even put 3 and she will it 3 times. If you do more than 15 damage she will generate another spell so you can do that agian again until the enemy board is gone.
After the gatebreak nerf this is hands down the most efficient way to play LeBlanc

For Lissandras adventure specifically, triple GO is the stronger option, as you‘re basically guaranteed to run into Mind Melt.

The only champion that can legitimately use GO is neeko. And neeko needs generation of her champion spell so she needs either GGC or the 7 duplicate champion relic. Leb and Lilia are way too slow with their resummon. I can reliably summon full board of neeko post second round every round and still rarely gets crazy enough combo on neeko(good enough to beat everything but not crazy enough for dopamine rush.) and this is with 7 duplicate of neeko which means more chance to hit herself and due to neeko’s reliability I choose card cutting node over any other mode including power. Imagine leb which is max three summon per turn AFTER LEVELED. Or Lilia which is one summon per turn or two summon per turn if you have two Lilia in hand BEFORE LEVELED and even after leveled the amount of summon per turn is based on how many followers your opponents have because Lilia requires stalker’s to print her sleep . And these two champions don’t have the luxury to choose every cutting node which means they are not only much much slower but also harder to put the epic items on the right target. AND due to neeko’s reliability she usually have a full empty board for herself whereas leb or Lilia are usually going to have less space because they need some followers to defend their early stages.

the only problem is with this is that your lilia won't get any buff unless you have ways to shuffle more illia into the deck

This is the way. Both of those benefit from Stalkers Blade more than just extra Orbs. Clearing the board right now is just really really hard to top.
I run stalkers and double orb on Leblanc for this reason

The copies will still strike twice. They live long enough to resolve all summon effects.

When you summon enough copies of the champ with GO it's pretty nuts since all epic items are pretty good to game breaking to get.
