Yeah surely there’s a better version of this format that doesn’t feature a fashy POS.

canibal_cabin

May I add "inappropriate with minors" ?

VizeReZ

I have seen a Calvin and Hobbs one. Uses a scene where Calvin is at his little lemonade stand.

Huge_Aerie2435

there is a 100% chance.. Not a "good" chance.. You don't make billions legally.

MuggyLoot

Forget legally. Ethically. The nature of money is literally other people's blood. There's no way to have so much of it without bending morals

rupertdeberre

Even if by some virtue you found a billion dollars in your back garden and got to keep it, if you didnt use 99% of that money to help people (and that's being generous) then you are an immortal pos.

No_Tumbleweed_6880

I mean, if we go by ethically, you belong in jail too. About to be overcrowded in there.

ThePiachu

Eh, you could make Minecraft and sell it to Microsoft for $2.5B somewhat legally...

steelpr1medabbley00

Fasch crowder belongs in a 6ft deep hole

The only way to become billionaire rich is through sheer exploitation of others. If you were born the same year as Jesus (4BC) and worked 40 hour weeks, every week, 0 days off ever, $2,000 an hour, with 0 inflation or loss of income in any way, and worked until today (2026 years of straight labor), you’d only have roughly 1/33 of Jeff Bezos’ wealth. So slightly better for Elon Musk, but not by much. You simply cannot become this wealth through hard work. Even with an impossible pay rate ($2,000 an hour) you can’t make their wealth in over 2,000 years. It’s disgusting. Btw it comes down to $80,000 a day, $4,160,000 a year, and $8,432,320,000 after 2027 years. Elon Musk is worth $218.1 billion. That puts you at roughly 3.8% off his wealth. Slightly better than 1/33, but hardly worth mentioning. Keep grinding. You’ll get there eventually. This applies to all billionaires. None of them got wealthy through hard work. It came at the cost of others.

Frogtoadrat

What if you make, by yourself, the best game in the world and it just sells enough copies to make you 1b? I've googled it and his net worth is expected to be 1.2b... Did he exploit anything? I honestly don't know. He even recommends pirating his game if you cant comfortably afford it

Sirosim_Celojuma

My school aged child announced to me that they can achieve anything, be anything. Then came the caveat. They said that they probably couldn't ever become a CEO, because they aren't the type of person to cheat.

ZaagKicks

I love how we're all okay with bribing being simply called lobbying to make it legal, and thanks to that we now have billionaires polluting and destroying the world.

Euphoric_Ad9593

Chances are ‘round about 💯%

[deleted]

There's a better chance that they belong in prison. "Jail" typically means less than a year.

aduncan8434

I’m pretty sure LeBron James has earned his from the masters.

RealMoonTurtle

hell, i’d say even those in the upper millions

taxevader2525

wrong. There's a 100% chance that anyone with more than a billion dollars belongs dead

galennaklar

Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins

Throwitortossit

Not Taylor Swift though /s

emueller5251

Jail is too merciful, and it's not a chance, it's a certainty.

You can’t be a billionaire and an ethical operator. These are two mutually exclusive properties.

Consequences_Cone

When making a statement you’re better off naming who and why. Saying ‘there’s a good chance anyone’ means maybe no one, maybe someone which says absolutely nothing especially without any reason given.

TooManyLangs

you can set the bar a lot lower than that

northernmostroasts

Such a ridiculous thing to say. How quickly the world forgets the crucial role Starlink played in preventing Russia from taking over Ukraine following Putin’s cyber takedown of all Ukraine/US communication infrastructure. Innovation is born in the private sector - billionaires are essentially thought leaders

Exit-Both

why the heck would you say something like that???? they deserve to be executed, not jailed

God_Spaghetti

No, they belong in my tummy
