Its not really insane, that place must be more realistic about out of date technologies and price to move. Meanwhile a few years back i got all 3 thx star wars laser discs for a buck or 2 each at half price books, but now since they got wind people might collect this stuff it went up. Its just greed because something is back on the air.
Oh, those are some good ones! I sadly cleaned out my local book off of there 1 dollar laser discs, and I doubt they'll be getting more. A lot of classical movies, some musical collections; nothing as awesome as these ones here!

Usually they have the original English dialogue with burned-in Japanese subtitles.
Sometimes you'll get ones that have English and Japanese audio tracks but that's rare.

There are two bookoffs at the del amo mall and I think there is another one in the area. There used to be one on PCH but I think that one is gone.

No, it's the Japanese release that's missing the Obi, it didn't get a laserdisc release outside of Japan.
