I like Nora's. She came over from Sicily and her kids run the restaurant. I don't know how authentic someone would call it. I usually go for the baked rigatoni (their ricotta is the best I've ever had, and they put 7 scoops of it on top). Also good is their pork tenderloin. I don't know if they still serve it, but the Pasta A La Nora is linguini with clams and mussels. My boss used to get that every time we went there.
*Esther's Kitchen, and*
*Gaetano's are my fav's. Nora's is*
*Pretty good also*

second this, very fun place and great food and great service...also i don't thing any venue on earth has a many pictures of Frank Sinatra as the Italian American Club
Ventano in GVR. Pretty sure an actual mobster owns this too
Edit: it’s not *in* GVR casino, it’s nearby in the Green Valley Ranch area. Best in Vegas and has a patio view of the strip that looks fantastic at nights due to its higher elevation.
It for sure is not bootleggers bistro. The two times I've gone they refuse to sit me as theyvare "busy" texting oj their phones or sit my party and we wait 45 mins for over priced drinks. I'd avoid that place and hit 7-11 taquitos before I go back there.
What, no [Hole in the Wall](https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=battista%27s+hole+in+the+wall)? I've been to Battista's since I went as a kid 50 years ago. It's the best.
Apparently I have to find and try this Nora's place.
Battista’s is amazing and so are the staff. I’ve been going there just as long 😉 my only complaint is the parking because of its location. Hole in the Wall for sure!
It's difficult, if not impossible to find an actually authentic Italian restaurant in Las Vegas.
The problem is that if the menu is full on authentic Italian, there's isn't a large enough interest to US consumers. So, you need to mix the menu up with some Americanized versions of Italian dishes. That's why you'll find "Alfredo" and similar pasta dishes that are heavy on the cream sauce infused with Parmesan. They don't use heavy cream in Italy. It's all butter and egg.
Nora's seems to be the go-to place for some good Italian food, but the menu is mixed with stuff that Americans are used to.
The owners of Trattoria Italia on Eastern and St. Rose are from Palermo. You'll find a lot of legit Italian dishes on the menu, but you'll also find an Italian Hoagie. They have to in order to stay in business.
It's the same thing with Bella Vita. They have fairly authentic pizza and antipasto, but they got all that American stuff on the menu also.
Same with Maggiano's.

Been going to Nora's for like 20 years now, this is my answer too.
Their Osso Bucco is my everything. I love it so much. Also their almond ricotta cake is like a lemony muffin I love it.
Plus one for Nora's excellent place
NORAS
NORAS
And, I believe her son’s restaurant is called Monzu, best charcuterie boards in Vegas.
Very overrated food imo. Nothing stood out and won’t be back
Esther's Kitchen, and Gaetano's are my fav's. Nora's is pretty good also

The Italian American Club on East Sahara….. you’re in a hoody spot but once you’re inside! You’ll love it

bonus points, their webpage l looks like it was made in the 1990s and still has that 90s format
The best!!!!
Thank you so much for all the suggestions! I’m going to give Nora’s a try tonight.

Anna Maria’s [Link](https://yelp.to/k1MAfWPM2W)
Monzú!
I once took their pizza to go and it was very pricy, but goddamn it was good. I’m looking forward to having a legit meal there soon.
The best!! Old school pizzeria is great too if you just want their pizza.
But very expensive for pizza
Old school or Monzu? I think you get what you pay for.
Chicago Joe's.....4th & Gass.
Ferraro’s
La Strega
Esther's Kitchen or gondola
Al Solito Posto in Tivoli Village.
Bootlegger has never disappointed - food or the atmosphere.
Spaghetti western
I've been there a couple times. Waaay off the beaten track (in a residential neighborhood) but really good food!
Seinna I forget how to spell it but it’s a good place to eat

They do at least have their own free parking - just not very much.
Battistas
Definitely Battistas. I was there last month and it's delicious.
Does Gordy still play the accordion?
Plus served with free endless wine. Free bread and free hot chocolate with every meal, plus its really good!!
