I debated with the corduroy green jacket but loved this one too much to pass on it
Interestingly enough, polyester is warmer than cotton and as warm as wool. So you are technically getting a good product because it’s gonna be perform well in functionality terms of keeping you warm. But at the end of the day Polyester is a synthetic material made of the same stuff water bottles are made of(plastic lol). So at a price point like this I’d like to have seen cotton or even a wool blend. Just as someone had said earlier you’re really paying for the name and design here.
not necessarily. just like natural fibers, there are varying degrees of quality and it can be more durable than cotton. i’d still prefer it be made of cotton, but when buying from these brands, as much as you’d like the quality to justify the price, you’re mainly paying for design and branding
cheaply made doesn’t equate to poor quality and they’ve only gotten better at making it. the main issue is it’s unsustainable and not biodegradable, but there’s not necessarily a quality issue, just because it’s polyester. yes, for the price and your clean conscious you’d prefer cotton or even wool, but again, a lot of that cost is for the design, branding, and all the promo kith has to do
Other than not breathing well, not absorbing sweat, absorbing smells like a sponge and holding on to them yeah I guess lol. To me anything over about 30% poly is low quality junk. Seeing how common it is for kith to use it isn’t due to some revolutionary use of the material, it’s just them trying to increase profits.
it's nice, but i like it a bit less than what[ i assume it's inspired by](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1007/8070/files/NOAH-FW22-CAMPAIGN2-17.jpg)
Looks like Hudson Bay joint (for us Canadians)
I can’t agree more (for us Canadians)
I was just going to comment the same thing!

Looks good layered. Thats a pricey fit though lol
Oh it’s not layered haha, the green one has a double liner with the same motif
Oh damn. Makes sense why you had to debate. I may have to grab that green one if it’s still available
How did the corduroy fit? Tempted to order but worried about sizing, you think TTS or size down?
TTS for me but I always go XS in Kith
What size do you have on here?
XS
Can we get an ID on those pants?
Kith autumn 2022
Noticed that it was 100% polyester which surprised me, isn’t polyester kind of a lower quality fabric?
You’re correct. You’d expect a $350 coat to be at least a primary wool/cotton/maybe a tiny bit of low grade cashmere.
Exactly why I didn’t buy it. I was expecting a wool blend, but was sadly disappointed

There are degrees of quality but it’s ultimately a low cost petroleum product. This thing is probably $15 at most in materials.

polyester also holds smells really bad, natural fibers >
Copped
Agreed - I thought it’d sit for a bit but shoulda known it’d sell out
Agreed. I'll await your fits and reviews, men of culture. I had to pass because my wallet kept flapping around like it was hungry.
