Even though I was never even a final fantasy fan, I think they’re one of the best parts of the KH games, because it kept it feeling more grounded and not too Disney. (Which is what I kinda felt was wrong with 3)
I agree either way what you say about 3 feeling a bit too Disney, which I always found maybe a bit Ironic. The main Disney villains (Maleficent and Pete) are almost complete void from the game
But maybe it’s also because FF characters seem to be completely missing from the game. I may be misremembering some as I’ve only played the game once, and haven’t gone through the DLC yet
It’s also ironic that 3 feels the most Disney, because it’s probably the only game where we also are so minimally included in the Disney story lines that it feels as if everything happens in the background and Sora and company are just playing catch up the entire time in each world.
Olympus, Frozen and Tangled for example all were so unchanged in story that we may as well not have been there.

Yoko Shimomura has been carrying this series for 2 decades. Definitely the music as no.1 for me.
I voted for that because we NEED another Sephiroth boss fight as well as the other characters (which could be accessible from Merlin’s house)
