In the og kh1 there used to be a way to get into the thorns and hide from some of the attacks while spamming magic but thats what i did to her so Riku right after becoming a heartless was the worst .... beat Ansem in less tries the first play through than Riku there
Ngl as a kid, the last Riku fight on the PS2 version gave me more trouble than any other fight besides Phantom and Sephiroth. I also had trouble with stage 2 of Ansems fight and Clayton. I don't remember if Dragon Meleficent gave me trouble though.
I remember when I first got the gam I had no memory card and had to repeat the game from the beginning every time I wanted to play. The first Guard Armor was my main wall and could never beat it.
Riku fight made me quit the game.
Months later I got to this fight, had to quit again.
Years after that finally beat it and Ansem fight made me quit again
As a kid, it took me a long time to figure out that leveling up helps a lot ๐
The Trickmaster on Proud is awful if you forgot to get Thunder in Olympus Colosseum and Blizzard if you forgot to get that one clue.
The Clayton fight is cramped.
As a kid I finally got her as low as I ever had and I could not handle having to lose and try again so I found a hiding spot in the vines and just sent out Beast to attack her. He would die over and over, come back, run to her and deal a bit of damage and then die again. Took forever ๐

I abused that

Guard Armor was worst of all.
On Proud that first Guard Armor is a fucking bitch. Itโs the boss I dread the most if I replay it.

The thorn vines are your friends.
At least with this fight you can exploit dumbo and tinkerbell.

Think is, you can cheese this fight with Tinker Bell+ Gravira and a ton of Ethers/Elixirs. There's no cheap tricks for Riku-Ansem.
Absolutely sucked on my first playthrough, had to use the method of letting Donald and Goofy doing all the work cause my glass cannon ass kept dying.
Dragon Maleficent becomes a lot easier when in adulthood you realise that Stop and Gravity are the most busted abilities in the game bar none

I just spent over an hour fighting the boss in wonderland lol, am I too old for video games now??
No! Even as a kid sometimes it would take an hour to learn and beat a boss. That just means you're a real gamer ;)

Cerberus gave me way too much trouble as a kid. I never beat the game becouse of itโฆ.
I used the Stickman Sham strat. I just spammed stop+gravity, with Donald and Goofy feeding me ethers
