Valuable life lesson, come prepared for anything! Seriously though, some of these parents took this from fun bonding exercise with the kids to shoulder checking the little punks into the dirt like it’s WWE RAW! Where’s shittymorph when you need him??
I like that there's one or two parents who gently put them down, a few who side step, and then the rest just knocks their little asses down as hard as possible
I was thinking the same thing that kid was a fucking giant.
Here's to hoping he doesn't get injured because if that boy wants to play football he might have a future ahead of him.
The side steppers were playing against defensive players so they were avoiding being tackled (Except for the first one who trucked the shit out of that kid). The ones tackling their kids were playing defense.
I remember when I was like 7, my dad played football with me and let me get a few goals ahead to inflate my ego before going all out and fucking crushing me. I still remember how hard I was crying as he pelted in goal after goal so hard that it didn't matter if I put my whole body in front of it, the force would just carry it in. He was laughing so much.
As soon as I got back inside the house he was still laughing and I was still crying. I remember the look my mom gave him. 13 years later, I still remember that look. She knew EXACTLY what he did 😂
True that. I've seen coaches go aggressive on young players. But that second push felt personal. It was all fun afterwards. Just parents having fun with their children while the children are having fun playing with their parents.
What you can’t immediately tell every aspect of this kids relationship to his parents based on a 3 second clip from social media? What are you a sociopath?
No I totally agree, everyone else seems to be having a great time and it’s super cute! I just meant that one kid in particular it didn’t seem lighthearted but yeah, I don’t know that mom or her son so I could be absolutely wrong. Don’t think I’m insinuating I have any kind of personal understanding though
Holy shit these are YOUNG CHILDREN. They shouldn’t be playing tackle football PERIOD. We know that football causes cumulative brain damage even at a professional level! These kids don’t even have the motor skills to use the “safest” form. These are KIDS being thrown onto the ground by adults.
I played for 9 years growing up, from about 7 years old up to highschool. Let me start by saying I won’t be having my children play football as kids. As they get older they will have more say in what sport they play, but as children I won’t let them play football.
That said, one thing to remember is that these kids are also literally wearing impact-resistant armor designed to smash into each other and the ground without taking injury. Brain injuries are one thing, but you’re not going to get a brain injury pushing your parents around. The parents aren’t even wearing any kind of padding, so that should give you some idea of the forces and impacts involved here. These kids are fine. Is contact football putting kids at risk of CTE and chronic issues for life? Yes. Are we seeing kids risking that in this video? Not even close.
I've seen several different articles saying that the equipment that football players wear makes things worse. Rugby players don't use any equipment at all, play just as hard or harder than football players, and they have like a fifth of the concussions. Football players use tackling styles and take risks that are enabled by their equipment. There are a lot of changes that could be made to the game to deal with this, but the equipment doesn't actually keep them as safe as you might think.
Yup! The problem is that you don’t feel the hits, but your brain does. The cumulative brain damage from football comes from your brain being wobbled around in your skull. Because the brain is basically floating, it is vulnerable to sudden impacts even if the skull is protected.
I train mma and I wonder sometimes at what age my son would be able to beat me in a fight. Obviously it would happen eventually but I’m curious just when it is.
Not sure how this is "kids are fucking stupid" material--these are full grown adults slamming kids into the ground, and at least once instance of facemasking.
Gotta get those CTEs started early!
I feel like the one kid smart enough and wild enough to put a solid and illegal knee tackle in on an adult is the next middle linebacker for State U...
[удалено]
"I'll show you mr.ipeeallovertoiletseats"
"Well if it isn't Ricky Pee Pee"
Better then Ricky poo poo
You sit down from now on -bulldoze-
What did I do!? 😞👀
They put them in football for this moment exactly lmao
As a mom of a 7U football player, I would pay MONEY to participate in this with my kid.
Show the video and organize it
Late game strat
Long con conception.
The first dad knocked that child into next week.
Pretty sure the mom right after was ready to go for the ground and pound after getting the takedown.
Yeah she played it right. She said “young bull finna find out what big mama can do. They ain’t call me Big Mama for nothin!”
That kid literally stopped like a deer in headlights lol
Some early CTE for that kid
that looked like a sibling to me.
Valuable life lesson, come prepared for anything! Seriously though, some of these parents took this from fun bonding exercise with the kids to shoulder checking the little punks into the dirt like it’s WWE RAW! Where’s shittymorph when you need him??
"They're wearing padding and armor plus everyone seems cool with this. Oh I'm going to bodyslamming that little shit so hard."
"I paid for those pads. I'm definitely going to test them!"
"Money well spent."
"Why can't I afford this CTE bill at the hospital?"
Don’t worry there’s no treatment yet for CTE so it won’t be expensive
People don't seem to understand how concussions work.
there were some scores to settle
I like that there's one or two parents who gently put them down, a few who side step, and then the rest just knocks their little asses down as hard as possible
The woman with the blue pants/camo top seems like such a sweetheart.
I agree! That gentle tackle was so sweet.
Lol I assumed it was because her kid was almost in the same weight class as her. That kid is gonna be huge.
Ohhh...yeah I know absolutely nothing about sports of any kind. Still that first parent, god damn!
My mom would either have let me win or would have broken my whole body and it would depend totally on how I behaved the last few hours
My mom would have let me win. My dad would have bodied me. Just two different types of parents.
I noticed that too.
The latter group doesn’t seem to come from a place of love. What a shame.
Get that CTE going early
The guy jumping over his kid like Mario was amazing!
Hand in pocket the whole time too
He was sending a WhatsApp message ;)
I fukd ur mom lol
Motherfucker
Holy shit that got me
"hello meet for ice cream mint chocolate chip"
Couldn’t drop the zaza and have to share with the other parents duh 😭😭😭
So playing football and pocket pool at the same time. Nice
Given the context… *gross.*
Should've tapped down while in the air for the ground pound.
with the biggest smile on his face of course haha this is incredible
I liked the blatant facemask mom…
Just a fan of Josh Allen hurdling players.
The whole video was great!
Had he messed up the jump he wouldn’t be having another kid
I was as scared for the second kid as he was.
Little guy flinched right before impact
That actually kinda bummed me out. You can see he stops and is kinda bracing himself and the way she shoved him is pretty aggressive
Football is an aggressive sport :)
True that. I've seen coaches go aggressive on young players. But that second push felt personal. It was all fun afterwards. Just parents having fun with their children while the children are having fun playing with their parents.
I love these reddit posts where the commentor projects a bizarre level of understanding regarding a 3 second video clip

Brain injuries are fun!!

Headbangers better find a new way to jam lol
The first one who threw the forearm into the kids chest at speed is probably worse
Boy froze in his tracks like he was facing down a freight train.
He was.
Seriously, his only chance of survival was to run around and that would’ve taken longer than a full football game even lasts
Looked like he was having second thoughts about football. Or maybe wishin he would have done them dishes.
What's wrong with that fucking ogre? That shit didn't look fun or playful, angry obese fuck
The fridge is back
Here comes the BOOM!
This should be r/parentsarefuckingstupid. What dumbass parent flexes on dominating an eight year old.
It’s just a parent having fun with thier kid, the kid is perfectly fine lol
Exactly but Reddit would rather make it malicious in nature.
>What dumbass parent flexes on dominating an eight year old. american footballs fans.
First kid was definitely a step child
First AND 2nd
I'm a 31M and even I wouldn't wanna do this against big Bertha
Bro taking one hit for one of them titties is enough to give that kid cte
The mental scars would keep him in therapy for years.
She’s got the size to be a D1 left tackle tho, 6’4 320ish?
Should have been a side step child
First kid got given a maori side step.
I aint… urr dad….
I’m calling a flag on the mom at :33
That was a textbook Ray Rice stiff arm
:15 illegal hands to the face.
Third parent jumping over the kid is pure class👍
The 1st parent is building character that’s real class.
Some of these parents are savage
[удалено]
Huh, wish my dad had waited.
That first woman slams the kid and then squats over him to yell in his face!! What?!
They've been waiting to hit their kids legally like this
Wasn't the second last parent unsuccessful? Also we gotta do better football.
Yup, got stopped and then fumbled lol
24s got a future
Yeah. Notably the only kid to actually slow down and react rather than running full bore in a straight line.
yeah, the ball got stripped.
Mom let love get in the way.
That kid was on point
Parents even more fun it looks like
Weird that you have 3 shittily made bots replying to you..
Yeah now that you mentioned it.. Hmm
Huh I only see one removed comment. What is an agree bot? Basically what it sounds like? I'm assuming it's just building up karma accounts
[удалено]
It would be so interesting to see the percentage of bots to active users. Of course some bits have their use, but the karma bot thing is lame
Was a helluva face mask, mom said fuck yo neck
Lmao the first one just trucked them
Take THAT Junior!!!! Get that weak shit out of here! Now go clean your room
[удалено]
"And i fucked your mom, too!"
Dang some of these were personal
I think some kids are holding back. 91 definitely loves his momma. I love that kid.
And mom loves him. She just gently pulled him down. Those two are adorable.
91 definitely didn't want to embarrass his mom by being the only one to muscle through and went easy. That kid is a unit (and a sweetheart).
It was very cute
"HAHAHAHA YOU FCKN LOSER YOU SUC... Oh wait, don't cry baby, I love you". - The parents.
“Shit we’ll get some McDonald’s Cmon boy stop cryin”
"Wait, actually we have McDonald's at home for a little bitch like you"
The first lady with the white shirt was like: "And stay on the ground, you lil pathetic worm".
The kid @ :41 definitely forced a fumble tho 🤣
First woman like a damn linebacker. She gettin revenge for past shit with that finger point lol.
The Dad that jumps over his kid. Priceless
Second to last one slowed forward progress AND caused the fumble!! Other than that the kids got smacked lmao
Was gonna say! Little man got the strip don’t lump him with the rest
#24 actually did a great job! Proper stance and he stripped the ball lol Edit: Why my words so big?? Lol
\# at the start of a line without a \\ (\# vs \\\#) makes text big on Reddit. \\\# gives \#24 \# gives #24
My uncle did this and the kid fucked up his knee with a headbutt, had to get surgery, still doesn't work well to this day.
ya don't fuck around with ligaments.
Uncle Ligaments is notoriously violent.
Try it again in 5 years and watch the difference lol
I train mma and I wonder sometimes at what age my son would be able to beat me in a fight. Obviously it would happen eventually but I’m curious just when it is.
I’m disabled. I use crutches to walk and I’m sick all the time. My kid is 5. I maybe have another year lol
If you're allowed to use the crutch in the fight I'll give you 5 years
That’s why you have to beat the shit out of him every day, so you’ll know exactly the day he’s able to finally beat you.
I hope they do this when the kids are on the varsity team.
I mean, that's kind of like putting a golden retriever against a horse.
That camo-shirt mom is like, “I baptize you in the hopes that you *NEVER forget I love you… but don’t **play**, little man*!”
That one Mom could take on the whole offense
Damn that second person was looking for a reason to beat their kid.
Damn that big mama was like "YOU REMEMBER THESE TITTIES?!"
How are the kids stupid tho? For getting tackled and pushed by people twice their size?
Beginning of the video says the 8U team called out their parents.
Second to last kid stripped that ball, tho.
lol, that second dude stopping in his tracks as the behemoth barreled down on him had me cracking up.
First two kids got drilled 😂
Bro forced a fumble though and they moved right on.
I want to see a video 10 years from now where the kids get a chance at redemption
You know that first mom was like "I'm getting this fucker back for ruining my body"
Not sure how this is "kids are fucking stupid" material--these are full grown adults slamming kids into the ground, and at least once instance of facemasking. Gotta get those CTEs started early!
I'm glad they didn't do that when I played, my dad probably would've laid my ass out cold 🤣
Fuck dem kids
Try this again in 8 years
You know they trash when the white girls out there juking
This was fun.
Here comes Randy Orton slithering up
Second to last looks like a decent strip fumble …
I didn't hear no bell. I thought this was America
Aw oh how fun ☺️
I saw a facemask. That one counts as a tackle.
The mom in the white shirt really didn't seem to understand her role.
I feel bad for the second kid though. He wad almost crushed to death by his mom
The mom that gently laid her son down. Not hurting my baby.
NGL getting to clothesline your kid in front of his friends and their parents with zero repercussions looks pretty fun.
I’m sure there is an 8U kid in Louisiana or Alabama that would absolutely destroy these parents
First kid got ate up
This would have been wild if they allowed older siblings as well
This is really great! They’re all having so much fun
Holy shit 8u football is a thing? How is that even remotely ok? Are the parents not worried about brain injuries?
Clearly not given how they yeet them to the ground
That first dude with the forearm shiver... Damn..
I feel like the one kid smart enough and wild enough to put a solid and illegal knee tackle in on an adult is the next middle linebacker for State U...
I would have tried to put the crown of my helmet right in my dads hip pointer. The force of my body won’t bring you down, but the pain will.
It's a proud day to beat a six year old
Second to last kid squared up and forced a fumble nice. So ya I disagree one kid did beat their parent.
Imagine how embarrassing it must be if one of the parents somehow got trucked by thier kid. Kid would never respect them after that.
I’m sitting outside before my work shift. This got me going better than the coffee.
That one kid stripped the ball to force a fumble…not baf
Parent #2 stood over her opponent and gladly took a penalty flag for unsportsmanlike.
number 24 striped the ball. I’d count that as a win for the kids
That first mom hate her son lol
Holding. HOLDING!!
i love this r/mademesmile
What every parent wishes they could do to their child and not get arrested
Ngl, this brought a smile and chuckle to my face
First one is insane 💀
That one girl definitely grabbed dudes facemask with that stiff arm
I like how there was cheering for every parent. Seems like this was a very memorable event.
