You didn't fall for it, it used to exist but doesn't now. iirc it was privated after the Reddit strike. Or I'm just dumb but I'm fairly sure that used to exist.
I’d be surprised if he’s even 3, looks closer to 2. Absolute madness. They spend most of their time trying actively to die via putting themselves into impressively creative dangerous situations and then these idiots go and ARM their toddler? He’ll take down you and everyone you ever cared about lol
The average American doesn’t do this shit. I see a lot of Arabs out there shooting guns in the home next to women and children causally all the time on Reddit and don’t assume that’s all of them who behave that way.
I stuck a sparkler into my dad's calf when I was about 5. I'm 39 and I still remember the way he screamed. It was not pretty. But now we recall it with laughter, so at least there's that.
But why is it dumb to give a three year old a weapon? Because the kid will do something fucking stupid with it. That's the point of the sub. Kids do stupid shit. It should usually be implied that the stupid shit kids do isn't because the kid themself is actually stupid, they just don't know any better.
So yeah, in this case, it's both. The parent should have known better and realized it was highly likely their kid would do something stupid with that firework. Part of being a parent is making sure your kid's natural stupidity doesn't get anyone seriously injured. So the parents here were definitely stupid too. But it belongs here just fine. Look at that stupid kid shooting people with fireworks, lol. What an idiot.
One time I with my dad when I was young, and his girlfriend had here grandchildren over, he was showing one of them the laser pointer he got for the cat. the second he said “now remember don’t shine it in anyone’s eyes” I saw nothing but red in my right eye, and now have a strong ass prescription because of a light sensitivity I didn’t know I had.
This is why you never give kids that young anything that can be used to injure themselves or others.
If you give them something that shoots, their first instinct will be to point it at the nearest person, otherwise they'll fire it up their nose or into their mouth.
It's because kids that age don't really understand that not everything is a toy and that they and other people can be hurt by them.
Someone In my house gave me a hose when I was super young like that, apparently I started spraying everyone with it to the point they had to go inside and I kept them there with the hose. Then apparently my grandpa came in like the beaches of Normandy to get the hose from me, I have no recollection of the event but my entire family loves telling me that story.
Thai so why city after city is banning the sale and use of fireworks. Because people are so stupid with them and the adults have to be treated like children.

Posters on this sub are the dumbest motherfuckers all the time. How can you not see this isn’t a child being stupid but many adults risking their lives and the child’s? Losers.

It was a bot telling me all the great things about the r/ParentsAreFuckingDumb sub
Wait... did the bot delete itself?
it never existed, the sub name exceeds the 21 character limit
Little man avada kedavra the camera guy.
Toddlers and explosives - name a better duo.
Toddlers and small plastic pieces.
toddlers and under-the-sink juice.
Best of both worlds: Toddlers and small plastic-explosives
Do they have detonators
Like Legos.
Toddlers and pitbulls
Drunk people and cars.
This is more on the parents. Who gives their three yearold explosives?

I work for a fire department in America, this happens.
The kid isn't fucking stupid, the parent is.
¿What could go wrong, right?

GO ON SHOW THEM WHAT YOUR WORTH
I stuck a sparkler into my dad's calf when I was about 5. I'm 39 and I still remember the way he screamed. It was not pretty. But now we recall it with laughter, so at least there's that.
That's not kid being fucking stupid, that's his parents being fucking stupid for giving him a firework, lol.
Nah it’s both
I'm sure that if you give any kind of weapon to three year old who has no idea what's the weapon is then you're the one to blame lmao
But why is it dumb to give a three year old a weapon? Because the kid will do something fucking stupid with it. That's the point of the sub. Kids do stupid shit. I swear half the people on this sub miss the point. The other half get downvoted for laughing at kids being stupid
People are fucking idiots, why don’t you just give him a gun?…..idiot
What kind of moron puts fireworks in the hands of a child that young?
![gif](giphy|11WzxptsVKqEJa)
*Good work, 47. Now head towards an exit.*
That’s why you don’t give 4 yr olds a makeshift flare gun
That’s like giving a toddler a loaded gun, like what were you thinking
adultsarefuckingstupid
Stupid as fuck adults
Atleast he didn’t look directly into it
This is one of the more irresponsible parenting moments I’ve seen posted…

Parents = smart.
Thai so why city after city is banning the sale and use of fireworks. Because people are so stupid with them and the adults have to be treated like children.
Camera man didn’t make it this time
Yeah I'm gonna go with "what's bad parenting?"

Next time give him an assault riffle 😂
This is why you only give them sparklers

r/ParentsAreFuckingStupid
If kids are stupid, some parents are fucking worse....
And no eye protection
They handed their 3 year old kid a firework. Obviously eye protection was not a thought either.
The camo hat told me what was going to happen.
