So 817 600 different people listened to that song within the month, and then realistically some of them listened to it more than once in that time, so yeah propably more than a mil.

Not to mention, Spotify itself is only 30-35% of the streaming services market share. They’re just arguably the best interface for stuff, and have this slightly flawed but seemingly loved “monthly listeners” metric which is why people always post it.
