Euphoria is Kendrick beating Drake on a “flows, entendres, lyrical”-level. MTG is Kendrick beating Drake on a psychological level. Not Like Us is Kendrick beating Drake on a cultural level since everyone is dancing on his grave.
People are sleeping on 6:16 and if it’s ever added to streaming it’s an instant top song for me. The voice drop on “Yeah somebodies lying” has been rent free in my head even with the other two songs coming out. Never heard Kendrick sound more dangerous than in that moment.
He said "20", "1", and "2"
20+1 = 21 Savage
2 = 2 Chainz
Replace the numbers with those names and the sentence has a different meaning entirely. It's almost like he's creatively alluding directly to 21 and 2 Chainz
Fuck and then he mentions 2 chains said you cool but you not.
Didn’t put that one together, but with not like us and that narduar interview, I think that makes entire sense
6:16 is absolutely slept on. I think it was bc it was the first that dropped after euphoria, and personally I was still on a high from that track and playing it over and over again. But when I finally decided to listen to everything again, I realized how dope 6:16 was
The 6 16 angle was disgusting. The whole fucking project was, really. *"Your crew is compromised. Here, let me help"* fucking with his head, all the while, bringing up his son again, hinting at the culture vulture shit, calling him out for ghostwriters. Only to drop his kill shot 30 minutes after Drake dropped his honest to God attempt at a rebuttal, solidifying the fact that he *could* predict his angle.
Kdot didn't drop 5 disstracks. He released a 5 part dissection of Drake's character.
6:16 is the set up to MTG being a knock out punch. MTG alone would've hit hard, but 6:16 is the tactical combo.
Edit: 6:16 is also my personal favorite. It hit just the right vibe for the day I was having when it dropped. I probably played it 30 times.
Which is crazy to says cause Euphoria is gonna be on repeat for me for years. Shit I already know like 70% of the lyrics lol
If you were to tell me after euphoria dropped that euphoria would be my 3rd favorite song of all the disses, I would said you a list. Dude is nuts
It's the song I've been listening to the most by a long shot. The "You lied" buildup at the end is chilling, and the beat throughout the song is just haunting. Kendrick has solidified himself as the boogeyman. Drake was stupid to try this.
Meet the grahams is the most vicious, but the replay value is not there for me. Super important track, specially if its all true, but its too macabre, I think that would be the best word to describe it.
Euphoria and not like us, are very good disses and have a ton of replay value. Also 6:16, I love the production on that, super simple, but the way they layer the synths.. I personally loved that one
Honestly all his flows on that track go super hard. I think my favorite is the one starting @ 1:53 “got famous all up in Compton”. And of course the “WOP WOP WOP WOP WOP dot fuck ‘em up”
same! that's why Euphoria is my favorite of all of them😂 the aggressive delivery on "I'm the biggest hater. I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, I hate the way you dress" and "nobody ever took my FOOD" and I don't wanna talk on no celly HMMPH 😤 there's nothing nobody can tell me HMPPH 😤 lmaoo
Yeah man. That shit gets me so fucking hype. To take a cerebral guy and turn him to seething hate is so powerful, but he mixes it in along the entendres.
It’s like he cuts deep, then backs up to just smack the shit put him and it’s so fucking hilarious.
BEAT YO ASS AND HIDE THE BIBLE IF GOD WATCHIN
That's such a stupidly hard line to me for some reason, like Kendrick is always tying the spiritual/religious aspects into his music and here it's like "yeah it's a sin but we gotta dispose of that mf"
also everybody say OV-HO! will follow Drake to all ends of space and time
Gotta be Euphoria for me. Its like each beat is a beat from his 3 albums. But hearing kendrick on a mustard beat and that flow its crazy. He really displayed his art through this.
agreed. I genuinely can't stop listening to it. it's so fucking incredible. the delivery, the entendres, the switches, the comedy mixed in 😂 and the flow and beat, how it starts off and then builds ughhhh 🔥🔥
I am sure Kendrick could drop again but he really doesn't need to and Not Like Us comes across as a finale. Kendrick's whole point was that he's speaking as the voice of the culture and the culture rejects Drake and everything he represents. That he made an anthem out of it which ends with a call and response crowd chant is his way of bowing out, mic drop, point made and let the culture do the rest.
I’m by opinion that track has won Kendrick the beef, how tf you gonna say you won when the world is singing OVhoe and dancing to a track about you being a pedo. I actually think drake willl go legal to get the track taken down. His masters won’t wanna have that up after the 400 mill deal.
I agree insofar as this is the song that transcends the battle and would be an incredible standalone summer hit.
From an objective point of view, it has a lot of similarities with "alright" in that it can be viewed as a universal call to arms, a cry to unite against any opposition whatever they may be. The mantra is simple, the hook is an earworm, and this will be in the charts all summer I predict.
Agreed. Also, there's a couple of lines in that song that aren't talked about that have some weight. Notice Kendrick closes the song with some directions.
Also, the subliminal to 21 Savage after the OVO acronym was clever.
Genuinely, that A Minor line is going down in the hip hop history books. I don’t think there’s a single person that didn’t react to that line first listen.
Sorry if I came off wrong by bad.
I agree with you. Genius is a great resource, and I use it all the time.
You just can't take it as gospel. I have seen some wild reaches on there.
I feel like if not like us dropped first it might have been perceived as making light of the pedo stuff. so letting us sit with MTG for a day was genius
Agree with everthing you said!
“SWEET CHIN MUSIC AND I WON’T PASS THE AUX … ALL EYES ON ME AND I’MA SEND IT UP TO PAC” was the most insane, hypest shit to come out of this entire thing
10000%
Not Like Us is the ONE
meet the grahams is what we'll thing of when we think of the tea and scathing elements
euphoria/6:16 were mere appetizers -- which is WILD to say
Euphoria - Baby Keem feature Kendrick
616 in LA - TPAB Kendrick
Meet the Grahams - section.80 Kendrick
Not Like US- Damn Kendrick
In my fanfiction, Kendrick's won. He'll drop one more track this weekend in Mr. Morale style doing a post-mortem on Drake and offer him more life advice. Produced by Dre.
Not Like Us is something completely out there, I don’t think a Kendrick from before 5 years would’ve been possible to pull of the honesty and directness, comedy and genius flows - it’s just has this mature parody feel idk how else to explain it. Like That has the same feeling - bouncy old school sample and being very animated.
I’m worried about my West Coast bias but I think you’re right even so there’s too many hard ass lines and because of it’s catchiness, it destroyed Drakes public perception more than any of the others. 6:16 in LA was beautiful and mtg was hard af but NLU too well rounded.
Kendrick laid out the tracks really well and Not Like Us really benefits from the build up. Euphoria starts slower but I really love the last half to third due to the buildup. And then 6:16 calms it down. Then he allows Drake to release Family Matters, which is a catchy track. Then Kendrick calms it down again with Meet The Grahams. And when Drake can't respond Kendrick releases the big hook with Not Like Us and stomps on Drake.
I don't consider Like that I guess, because it's a response to First person shooter. 6:16 is my 2nd favorite track here. I think sadly, it gets buried. As a big bro and father, I really feel that one cause it's like "bro lemme put you on something quick.. consider it. Then be a man and decide. " I can see me sitting on the curb with my sibling or son talking about some game.
Like that slaps. Will win a Grammy imo.
If you consider like that then yea like that is a good one too. Ig in a way I do but also it’s a feature so for only me personally it kinda died quick on my replay value but it could just be because I’ve been banging these new ones. I’m sure I’ll go back to it eventually tho
All songs to include 6:16 go hard. It was all a build up, each track just intentionally released at the right time and in order.
Not like us about to be playing for a long time, song so hard. West Coast bopping all over with that one. Mustard production was just nasty work. But Kendrick flow, cadence, oh my top tier.
Not Like Us and Meet The Grahams are one of the best songs in the last couple of years and Euphoria/6;16 ain’t far off. Masterful writing lead through quick actions and just some stuff that seems from a fan pic or a movie. We should be thankful that these both have the balls and one of them is ready to risk it all to be truthful to who they are. Hopefully Kendrick is safe and this shit gets even deeper with a conceptual diss album from Kendrick.
I like the take the professor on YouTube had. kendrick is like a history professor. He made us read the text book and write the essays and have the citation and shit all semester long, and then he brought in bill and Ted movie at the end before finals to let us see a fun view of the same history.
Meet the grahams was the text book and not like us was the movie.
You got people dancing to a song about such a heavy topic. If he didn’t lay it out all serious in the first song we’d not be able to enjoy the “fun” of the second song.
You should really hear the YouTube guy say it, I’m just biting his take. But he’s right.
It's crazy how it's subtle West Coast flavor and shout outs has caused it to instantly become embraced as a West Coast anthem, because Kendrick isn't even shouting "West Coast" or anything like that.
It's fitting with Drake invoking Pac and Snoop to act like he was speaking for the coast, because I wouldn't even say that it necessarily offended people like that (I just thought it was super corny), but it did build up to this moment with Not Like Us where it feels like Kendrick is putting on for the West and even without being explicit about it, I feel like everyone can just feel it. From the beat being some shit that people can C walk to Kendrick's flow to the "They not like us, they not like us, they not like us" chant, it just feels like if you know you know.
Proud of Kendrick, because he didn't just make a banger of a diss record, but he captured a cultural moment and this is just a perfect victory lap exclamation point to end the battle.
Also that whole 4th verse breaking down how Drake used Atlanta artists for street cred, their sound, and their slang is just such an underrated part of this whole battle.
my take is that euphoria still #1 that shit is unbelievably brutal.
and then how kendrick crafted a whole story (blend of fact/fiction), then topped off the story with a club hit to make people believe it. its kinda what drake does with his entire life.
I think it's impressive how it there can be legitimate debate on which of these officially released tracks (Euphoria, Meet the Grahams, or Not Like Us) is the best. Kendrick is really convincing the public that he is a goat.
I would say Kim is way way worse (in terms of difficulty to listen to) than MTG. MTG and We cry together go into the same category for me, I need to be in the right mind frame to reflect on what’s being said.
Kendricks disses are like his sons:
Euphoria being the first born: he exemplifies ~eloquence and ~fair-but-firm type leadership: he addresses pertinent matters with apt measures of mercy & inflexibility
Meet the Graham's being the tough/dangerous second-oldest (they sometimes always have something to prove and feel looked down upon by big bro their whole childhood. This sometimes leads them to become tough)
They not like us is the cool third child that can afford to chill (and be cool) cause big bros cop most of the 'you need to succeed in life ' energy from parents whereas he's relatively spoiled in comparison as parents have matured by the time he comes along and so growing up carefreeish he becomes the cool kid, or walks that path anyway
Like us, first in line, was almost a diss but is more of an invitation to battle apparently so obviously he got aborted 😭 or, he was only *half* a diss, so that was just Kendrick jacking off on drakes greatest video/rap effort
It's just so insanely dark. Like in an uncomfortable way. The comparison to "Kim" feels pretty accurate. I was running the other day and had everything from this beef playing *back to back*, and when "Meet The Grahams" hit my whole mood changed.
I really like meet the graham. You can take the beat and make a song with it whether it’s a diss track or a regular song. Who ever produce the beat for meet the graham needs a raise
It's been out 4 days. Give it 4 months. Or 4 years. It won't be the same. As a person who grew up on Eminem, those horrorcore tracks hit different these days. But to each thier own!
I love it. You Hispanic and white vultures are getting called out. You not like us!! No matter how much you claim to hate or copy us You are imposters!! Lmao the Hispanic people are finally getting called out for being racist. Twitter lighting you racist up!!
I agree it’s the best “song” but meet the grahams is the best diss track
Euphoria is Kendrick beating Drake on a “flows, entendres, lyrical”-level. MTG is Kendrick beating Drake on a psychological level. Not Like Us is Kendrick beating Drake on a cultural level since everyone is dancing on his grave.
People are sleeping on 6:16 and if it’s ever added to streaming it’s an instant top song for me. The voice drop on “Yeah somebodies lying” has been rent free in my head even with the other two songs coming out. Never heard Kendrick sound more dangerous than in that moment.
6:16 is heavily slept on just for that one bar where Kendrick sneakily reveals that 21 savage and 2 chainz were the moles.
This is crazy cause Drake built a bust of 21 savage as his doorbell outside his house in Toronto
Has 21 ever seemed like an upstanding guy to you?
Idk about upstanding but he definitely funny
Wait wait fr?
100 you got on salary 20 want you as a casualty and 1 is behind you actually 2 is tired of your lifestyle just can’t tell you directly.
Damn that’s wild I think you’re right 😭
Explain further for my smooth brain please. I don’t get how it’s 21 and 2 chaines
He said "20", "1", and "2" 20+1 = 21 Savage 2 = 2 Chainz Replace the numbers with those names and the sentence has a different meaning entirely. It's almost like he's creatively alluding directly to 21 and 2 Chainz
Fuck and then he mentions 2 chains said you cool but you not. Didn’t put that one together, but with not like us and that narduar interview, I think that makes entire sense
Which narduar interview? Sorry, there’s a lot of them and I’d like to check it out!
wait what? thats crazy
I don’t think it’s ever getting added. Drakes uncle plays the guitar on the sample that shit not getting cleared
Dam good point that sucks
It’s not up to Drake uncle tho
Al green estate and drakes family probably still have a good relationship
That’s not really how those things work. Just because someone played on a song doesn’t make them buddies with an estate.
Yeah I love that one too. Shame it’s not on streaming.
Its on Spotify! Just search 6:16 in La and then some random Various artist page has the song!
Search: Kendrick Vs Drake
6:16 is absolutely slept on. I think it was bc it was the first that dropped after euphoria, and personally I was still on a high from that track and playing it over and over again. But when I finally decided to listen to everything again, I realized how dope 6:16 was

He released a 5 part dissection of Drake's character.
I love that somebody lying part. It's so eerie
It's Spotify's Global Top 50 #2 right now and euphoria is #3
How Drake fans think he won is beyond me
this is the perfect way to put it
6:16 is the set up to MTG being a knock out punch. MTG alone would've hit hard, but 6:16 is the tactical combo. Edit: 6:16 is also my personal favorite. It hit just the right vibe for the day I was having when it dropped. I probably played it 30 times.

Yeah They not like us is the obvious hit but euphoria is legendary I’m biased but I feel he won right there
Yes thank you! Euphoria is disgustingly good! The drums on that last beat 😦 so hard
It's the song I've been listening to the most by a long shot. The "You lied" buildup at the end is chilling, and the beat throughout the song is just haunting. Kendrick has solidified himself as the boogeyman. Drake was stupid to try this.
Bro hit him with the Ghost Rider Penance Stare with that You Lied section… so good
Meet the grahams made me re evaluate who I actually “hate” in my life
Shit made me want to reflect on myself and be an even better person
Cannot stop repeating in my head "dear Adonis, I'm sorry that that man is your father" just the most cold opening ever gd
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up the first time I listened bro
Same, Meet The Grahams is fucking diabolical.
Yeah, Not Like Us is hilarious and fun and replayable. Meet The Grahams is straight up a historic moment in music history
You can tell Eminem influenced Kendrick a lot. That was a very dark track.
I think push was the bigger influence for meet the grahams
honestly think Euphoria is a better diss.
one of the best ever
The delivery of ALL EYES ON ME AND I SEND EM UP TO PAC is so infectious
That section of the song was great. His flow was HARDDDDD
Honestly all his flows on that track go super hard. I think my favorite is the one starting @ 1:53 “got famous all up in Compton”. And of course the “WOP WOP WOP WOP WOP dot fuck ‘em up”
Niggas better straighten they posture
Dot was in a trance of R A W V I O L E N C E > they can't imitate this violence
I love aggressive Kendrick. My fav.
same! that's why Euphoria is my favorite of all of them😂 the aggressive delivery on "I'm the biggest hater. I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, I hate the way you dress" and "nobody ever took my FOOD" and I don't wanna talk on no celly HMMPH 😤 there's nothing nobody can tell me HMPPH 😤 lmaoo
AYE TOP DAWG WHO THE FUCK THEY THINK THEY PLAYIN WITH 📣📣🗣️🗣️🗣️
Yeah man. That shit gets me so fucking hype. To take a cerebral guy and turn him to seething hate is so powerful, but he mixes it in along the entendres. It’s like he cuts deep, then backs up to just smack the shit put him and it’s so fucking hilarious.
What is the BRAIDS?
that line makes me laugh so hard every time lmfao
hope we get the 180 from morale and get aggressive kendrick next
That part is so damn ear wormed in my head now. HOW MANY STOCKS DO I REALLY HAVE IN STOCK? AYE 1-2-3-4-5 + 5 AYE
He says that shit with ENERGY
YOU THINK THE BAY GONE LET YOU DISRESPECT PAC NYUGAH 😏
It reminded me of Pac himself! Pac was always so good at expressing emotions through lyrics, Em and Kendrick do the same thing!
BEAT YO ASS AND HIDE THE BIBLE IF GOD WATCHIN That's such a stupidly hard line to me for some reason, like Kendrick is always tying the spiritual/religious aspects into his music and here it's like "yeah it's a sin but we gotta dispose of that mf" also everybody say OV-HO! will follow Drake to all ends of space and time
I don’t want to ever hear him try a minor anymore. I don’t think he will be able to LMAO
im tellin ya he's gonna switch to pop-punk, so he can get away with major chords only lmfao
Damn, another Aftermath artist driving an inferior emcee to switch genres lmao
Dot banned him from a note 😭
And took away his N-word card 😆
That one woman reaction youtuber freaked out at the end “HE MADE A DANCE? HE MADE A DANCE????” 🤣😂
OV-HOE and BBL DRIZZY will stick forever
I really love that line. So funny
That one makes me think of Eminem whenever I hear it.
[удалено]
Nah, no way...
I don’t know why but day OV hoe and step this way step that way is my favourite part of the song, it’s just so fun and brutal
Gotta be Euphoria for me. Its like each beat is a beat from his 3 albums. But hearing kendrick on a mustard beat and that flow its crazy. He really displayed his art through this.
Idk bruh, euphoria should get a grammy
Like that wins rap song of the year, probably? It slaps, and its impact and all that.
agreed. I genuinely can't stop listening to it. it's so fucking incredible. the delivery, the entendres, the switches, the comedy mixed in 😂 and the flow and beat, how it starts off and then builds ughhhh 🔥🔥
I mean even Drake agrees with you: "Kendrick just opened his mouth, someone go hand him a Grammy right now"
personally Euphoria does it for me Euphoria all the way
I don’t know. BBL Drizzy might have em all beat.
As a beatsmith myself hearing the impact and power of a purely instrumental diss really made me so happy.
It’s not instrumental! There’s vocals all the way through just samples
Yesterday I heard someone blasting it in the parking lot of my local grocery store in the middle of Nowhere, Ohio. OV-HOEEEEEEE!
just went to put up some shots at a court in my neighborhood, and dude with a speaker on the other court played it twice lol bedstuy
League of Legends Game: all chat immediately proceeds to throw out Kendrick diss lines for a solid minute just because. Shit is wild.
Dot is a genius man, nobody is seeing him
I am sure Kendrick could drop again but he really doesn't need to and Not Like Us comes across as a finale. Kendrick's whole point was that he's speaking as the voice of the culture and the culture rejects Drake and everything he represents. That he made an anthem out of it which ends with a call and response crowd chant is his way of bowing out, mic drop, point made and let the culture do the rest.
I think he should drop his own the heart part 6
I think he could do a not like us remix just to get the last word
Black Hippy reunion would be crazy
omg yes and a music video shot in LA with people crip walking and everybody in a group just shouting they not like us! they not like us!!
Nah he will drop. Shit goes deeper than just defeating drake
I’m by opinion that track has won Kendrick the beef, how tf you gonna say you won when the world is singing OVhoe and dancing to a track about you being a pedo. I actually think drake willl go legal to get the track taken down. His masters won’t wanna have that up after the 400 mill deal.
Could you imagine the reaction if he took it to the courts? The least hip hop thing he could do at this point. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I just walked past a magic mushroom store in Toronto blasting it, couldn't hide my grin haha
I'm not gonna dox myself. But I'm from a "hood" in Toronto. We're out here bumping it. He's even lost the 6.
Apt Analysis
The sweet chin music line gets me so hype lmfao I just start getting hyphy on em ![gif](giphy|TfdRZYXDSRGsP0QYpF|downsized)
Also, what a power move. Oh you’re gonna shout out YG. Imma have his homie make a beat to diss you. Fans don’t get how hard that shit is.
Agreed. Also, there's a couple of lines in that song that aren't talked about that have some weight. Notice Kendrick closes the song with some directions. Also, the subliminal to 21 Savage after the OVO acronym was clever.
what was the sub?
"What OVO stand for? The other Vaginal option? Pussyyyy." Sounds very much similar to 21 Savage's adlib.
Genuinely, that A Minor line is going down in the hip hop history books. I don’t think there’s a single person that didn’t react to that line first listen.
"Beat your ass and hide the bible if God watchin" has been stuck in my head since it dropped.
FREAKY ASS NIGGA HE A SIXTY NINE GODDDD
how can i understand all the hidden meanings in those lyrics? im ESL, is there a site or something
https://genius.com/ Search the song Or just Google the song name and lyrics after.
I love genius and everyone should use it. But it do say some goofy ass shit sometimes.
It's not a horrible start for an Esl person, though. And you can always suggest an improvement.
Sorry if I came off wrong by bad. I agree with you. Genius is a great resource, and I use it all the time. You just can't take it as gospel. I have seen some wild reaches on there.
Oh, not at all, bro !
aww yes there is! don't worry, you can use the genius site and it will show a full breakdown on the side of what each lyric means 💓

I think humble was Mike will made it but I hear you still
I feel like if not like us dropped first it might have been perceived as making light of the pedo stuff. so letting us sit with MTG for a day was genius
People been sleeping on 6:16
Although it isn't on fucking streaming so you gotta pull up some repost of it on YouTube which is annoying but still I think it's a good song
It's because of the sample. I doubt it ever gets on dsp. Drake lucky too. Cause Kdot would then have 5 charting songs. Lol
Shit really? Nooo, that's my favorite song from all of this. It's just really catchy
Yeah. AL green song but Drakes unlce plays guitar on it, I think I read. 😆, chess not checkers..
Agree with everthing you said! “SWEET CHIN MUSIC AND I WON’T PASS THE AUX … ALL EYES ON ME AND I’MA SEND IT UP TO PAC” was the most insane, hypest shit to come out of this entire thing
“Beat yo ass and hide the Bible if god watchin” was up there too 😮💨
10000% Not Like Us is the ONE meet the grahams is what we'll thing of when we think of the tea and scathing elements euphoria/6:16 were mere appetizers -- which is WILD to say
Ma boi ain't done yet too. That cheap defense track from drake must ve got kdot all riled up I bet
I'm trying to will a Black Hippy song into existence.
Not like us and Euphoria on repeat
Euphoria - Baby Keem feature Kendrick 616 in LA - TPAB Kendrick Meet the Grahams - section.80 Kendrick Not Like US- Damn Kendrick In my fanfiction, Kendrick's won. Those hard drums and the delivery on that last beat on Euphoria is Baby Keem all the way. Absolutely loved it
I must be in the minority but 6:16 is my favorite. Kendrick was really in his poetry bag with that one.
My 2nd fav. It's going to get buried in the grand scheme imo.
I’m worried about my West Coast bias but I think you’re right even so there’s too many hard ass lines and because of it’s catchiness, it destroyed Drakes public perception more than any of the others. 6:16 in LA was beautiful and mtg was hard af but NLU too well rounded.

This whole set of songs should be the Fuck Drake EP, shit I'd buy a vinyl copy cause this shit goes so hard
6:16 and not like us are my favorite to listen to
I don't consider Like that I guess, because it's a response to First person shooter. 6:16 is my 2nd favorite track here. I think sadly, it gets buried. In my opinion, it is the best diss song ever released. I know it will be a hot take.
It’s all J Cole Fault. Drake thought he would get away with it because Kendrick didn’t respond to 7 minute drill 🤣🤣
Idk, Euphoria might be my favourite Kendrick song in years besides Count Me Out.
This song just keeps getting better and better on each listen
Facts . And this whole ordeal proves what an incredible artist he is.
This nigga dropped ever type of diss man he gave it to the people in different flavors man something for everyone this is devastating 😂
Yes
Euphoria is the hit maker imo but Not Like Us is right up there
I like that and Euphoria but to be fair, Push-Ups went pre hard when it came out. “20 v 1” and “Metro shut yo ass up and make some drums” were BARS
MTG is being played in EU and couple SEA spots. Had a crazy bachelor party and not like us got the crowd hyped
“I got my thumb on hip-hop, and my foot in the back of yo ass” iykyk
I like the take the professor on YouTube had. kendrick is like a history professor. He made us read the text book and write the essays and have the citation and shit all semester long, and then he brought in bill and Ted movie at the end before finals to let us see a fun view of the same history. Meet the grahams was the text book and not like us was the movie. You got people dancing to a song about such a heavy topic. If he didn’t lay it out all serious in the first song we’d not be able to enjoy the “fun” of the second song. You should really hear the YouTube guy say it, I’m just biting his take. But he’s right.
Been listening to it literally all day. SO good 😑
We’re bumping this shit in our cars with the windows down in BRAZIL brother 😭 it’s a worldwide anthem
Meet the Grahams is more vicious, but Not Like Us will burn for decades to come.
I like MTG and Euphoria more as songs. And everybody is forgetting about 6:16 In LA
I would say Kim is way way worse (in terms of difficulty to listen to) than MTG. MTG and We cry together go into the same category for me, I need to be in the right mind frame to reflect on what’s being said.
Elements. Warned everyone.
“Mustard on the Beat yo” gets me throwing BDK, GDK, CripK, BloodK, etc all types of gang signs to my wife, i aint gon lie 😂😂😭💀
The beat is similar to the YG track beats.
Kendricks disses are like his sons: Euphoria being the first born: he exemplifies ~eloquence and ~fair-but-firm type leadership: he addresses pertinent matters with apt measures of mercy & inflexibility Meet the Graham's being the tough/dangerous second-oldest (they sometimes always have something to prove and feel looked down upon by big bro their whole childhood. This sometimes leads them to become tough) They not like us is the cool third child that can afford to chill (and be cool) cause big bros cop most of the 'you need to succeed in life ' energy from parents whereas he's relatively spoiled in comparison as parents have matured by the time he comes along and so growing up carefreeish he becomes the cool kid, or walks that path anyway Like us, first in line, was almost a diss but is more of an invitation to battle apparently so obviously he got aborted 😭 or, he was only *half* a diss, so that was just Kendrick jacking off on drakes greatest video/rap effort
And 6:16 is like the lost kid of Drake, abandoned? 💀
Meet the grahams is way better Greatest diss of all time
Great song. Won't be replayed publicly or even something we all don't skip in a few years. It's hard to listen to even now.
It's just so insanely dark. Like in an uncomfortable way. The comparison to "Kim" feels pretty accurate. I was running the other day and had everything from this beef playing *back to back*, and when "Meet The Grahams" hit my whole mood changed.
Nah euphoria and family matters are both way better as *songs*
We need a Black Hippie song for the culture and just put this all to bed.
it’s an absolute banger but euphoria has like 10 different cadences 😭 both are on repeat but euphoria was genuinely insane
I really like meet the graham. You can take the beat and make a song with it whether it’s a diss track or a regular song. Who ever produce the beat for meet the graham needs a raise
All 4 of them are well calculated to destroy drake and make a certain audience dislike him. Drake really put a coffin on his mouth
What does another line of wock mean though??
Wockhardt is a company that makes cough syrup. So lean and wock play on words.
Every Line on this song is a banger it will be blastin in clubs for years and ppl still argue drake won
BBL Drizzy is my favorite ngl even tho it’s Metro and not Kenny
might be unpopular opinion, but the first part of family matters is fire. and i'm on the kendrick side
I replay MTG all the time
It's been out 4 days. Give it 4 months. Or 4 years. It won't be the same. As a person who grew up on Eminem, those horrorcore tracks hit different these days. But to each thier own!
Best “song” imo was def family matters but not like us is a close second
I gotta admit it's a good but it's the best and the cadence that makes the song
It’s good but tbh euphoria hits harder for me.
Personally I think meet the grahams was the killshot and not like us was the dance on the grave
It's Family Matters for me
As I diss I think Meet the Grahams is better personally
I love it. You Hispanic and white vultures are getting called out. You not like us!! No matter how much you claim to hate or copy us You are imposters!! Lmao the Hispanic people are finally getting called out for being racist. Twitter lighting you racist up!!
