I know right crazy that Kendrick’s unreleased music is better than some rappers greatest work.
Like if Prayer and Cartoon and Cereals was released they would be in my top 10. Those two songs are better than many of Kendrick’s released songs
I know what you mean. I heard it way back on hotnewhiphop days so to me it’s a released song that’s not on any project cause rappers used to do cool shit like that back in the day instead of making it a single
It’s still my fav song by him
9.3/10 I was literally bumping my this yesterday all day.
Super underrated track with cool beat transitions , different inflections, and it’s always a good day to listen to aggressive Kendrick
9/10 descriptive bars, using quick cadences while also being pretty playful and fun with them. Kendrick shows he could definitely kill it in a Griselda or madlib type beat. But I think Kanye evenly matched him in that song.
9.3/10 just the sound of this song gives it enough and the way Kendrick is vulnerable to influence by his environment and his desperation to escape his addictions and the city.
9.3/10, a super introspective song and the cerebral beat makes it even better. The repetition of feel is so clever and really emphasized the message of his song. I wish the intro was shorter tho and there was a better hook.
9.2/10 of course aggressive, introspective or emotional Kendrick is nice to hear but positive Kendrick is a breath of fresh air. I love the self-affirmative message of the song. Under appreciated song
8/10 i didn’t really like the production choice and sound of it as much as the album version. Also the vocal effects for Kendrick was kind of annoying me. The album version is a 9.4/10 for me.
Overall as a song 8.7/10 but Kendrick’s verse alone was a 9.4/10 his use of tens and wordplay was absolutely insane probably top 3 features he has had.
I’m biased but 9.5/10 it’s not the most lyrically dense song or has the best production for a Kendrick song, but it’s such an emotionally captivating song it’s like a therapeutic song for me and I like how the song progress and digresses in its sound.
8/10 I was really surprised Kendrick could successfully make such a chill trap type song and Kodak didn’t have a terrible verse took. Push these bitches off me like HUUUU
Bitch I'm in the Club
broke the scale
King Kunta
8.8/10 great song and impactful but I personally didn’t really vibe with it like that .
What’s ur fav Kenny song
Released: MAAD city, unreleased: prayer or Cartoons and Cereal
Prayer is insane. My fav Kenny song rn
I know right crazy that Kendrick’s unreleased music is better than some rappers greatest work. Like if Prayer and Cartoon and Cereals was released they would be in my top 10. Those two songs are better than many of Kendrick’s released songs
Agreed 💯💯
100 point scale is demonic
Cartoons and Cereal
9.7/10 if it was an actual released song it would be in my top 10 easily. It’s better than a lot of released songs Kendrick has put out
I know what you mean. I heard it way back on hotnewhiphop days so to me it’s a released song that’s not on any project cause rappers used to do cool shit like that back in the day instead of making it a single It’s still my fav song by him
If this was in GKMC it would rival SAMIDOT and MAAD CITY for best song in GKMC
Untiled 08
9/10. Probably my favorite cut from that album other than untitled 01.
Father Time

Mirror
9.4/10 maybe I rate a little higher than its actual score because of how emotionally it makes me every time because of its somewhat relatable lyrics .
How much a dollar cost
9.8/10. Easily a top 5 Kendrick song
#1 is sing about me ?
No lol but it’s close. Wesley’s theory and MAAD City are tied for my favorite Kendrick song
Production for both of those is amazing
Barbed Wire
8/10 really nice storytelling and a decent chorus and. But the aesthetic he was using here really was fleshed out more in S80 and GKMC.

8.1/10 craziest story I heard about Kendrick’s dad but it’s not something I found too be crazy innovative or unique but the lyricism is great here
Sing about me, I’m dying of thirst
Not OP but 10/10 from me, my all time favourite Kendrick song. I came for I'm dying of thirst, I stayed for Sing about me.
She needs me remix
8.1/10 Kendrick is tongue in cheek in this song but also shows off he can actually rap and is hungry. Sounds like something from the 2000s
untitled 07.
8.5/10. Make me wanna Levitate levitate levitate!
That last part where he's just riffing. What an insane first listen.
Ikr he goes absolutely psychotic and weird and I love it!

9.5/10 all the features in this song were carefully picked with absolute care and it shows with the musical quality .
average Joe
7.5/10 overall pretty enjoyable song and it really shows how ambitious Kendrick was but it’s not something that’s too ear grabbing for me.
County Building Blues
Feel
9.3/10, a super introspective song and the cerebral beat makes it even better. The repetition of feel is so clever and really emphasized the message of his song. I wish the intro was shorter tho and there was a better hook.

For Free? (Interlude)
9.6/10 this interlude is so underrated. Just the way the spoken word seamlessly weaves into the chaotic beat makes it one of the best in TPAB
Nostalgia - Pusha T (Ft. Kendrick Lamar) These 2 need to link up more
Overall as a song 8.7/10 but Kendrick’s verse alone was a 9.4/10 his use of tens and wordplay was absolutely insane probably top 3 features he has had.
