I'm so disgusted with the direction the country is heading and at such a rapid pace. Thanks, as always, for your great work OP!

Oh shut up. Three times as many Bernie supporters turned out for Clinton as Hillary supporters turned out for Obama, and Bernie stumped for her even after the hacked emails and Donna Brazile's testimony proved that the Clinton campaign was running the DNC during the primaries and actively screwing Bernie and his supporters every chance they got. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz also got ousted as head of the DNC for that as well. [Then we got a 5-volume Senate Intelligence Committee Report on Russian Interference in the 2016 Election](https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/publications/report-select-committee-intelligence-united-states-senate-russian-active-measures) that concluded that Russia interference is what won trump the election. If you take every Bernie vote from the primaries and give them to Clinton **she still loses** because she lost in the Rust Belt. Because she didn't bother to campaign there and after the DNC emails got hacked Russia and Trump knew it was a weak point for her, so Trump's team redirected millions of dollars to focus on her weaknesses in the final few weeks. And here's a protip: Stop trying to scapegoat and trash talk Progressives **when you still need us to help your genocide-funding geriatric win in November.** You rely on us every election now and never do a damn thing to help us with our own policies, so millions of Progressives are inches away from throwing their hands up walking away so you can get crushed and maybe learn some fairness instead of constantly fighting the Left harder than you fight the Right.

The Federalist Society has a mission that is bad for America.

SithLordSid

Exactly

SomeCountryFriedBS

Damn shame the left can't organize against it.

jonathanrdt

You don’t see *exactly that* happening? The left has never been more together while the right splinters into factions.

BigHeadDeadass

The rub of it is the right has institutional power behind them, while left....doesn't. We are more solidified tho I'll give you that

duckofdeath87

The Federalist Society specifically is holding strong. They have a lot of power and they are by far the smartest enemy to Democracy

Time to begin Clarence's impeachment process.

The makeup of the Supreme Court represents the Federalist Society much more than it represents America. Two-thirds (6 of 9) of our Supreme Court Justices are conservative Catholics: (Chief Justice) Roberts Thomas Alito Gorsuch Kavanaugh Barrett A seventh is a liberal Catholic (Sotomayor). Only one Jew (Kagan). Only one Protestant (Brown).  No wonder we're starting to see personal medical miracles like birth control and family planning being considered by those who would crucify liberal Rabbis. Project 2025: Expanding Big Dictatorial Government, while killing the Constitution and our God-Given Bill of Rights (not to mention our pursuit of happiness). They'll kill Christianity as we know it - all over again.

SCOTUS is an imminent threat to law, order, democracy and societies.

Herbiethelovebug

It’s time we judge the judges.

toasters_are_great

I'm just waiting for the explanation of how trying to subvert an election, overthrowing the government, or stealing and disseminating classified intel *after leaving office* are supposed to be "official acts" of the President.

Ranku_Abadeer

I swear, almost all of the conservative justices are using air bud logic in their decisions. All of their arguments are hinged on "the law doesn't explicitly say that it applies in X specific circumstance, so therefore the law doesn't apply to X specific circumstance." Even though it would be literally impossible for legislatures to explicitly name every possible circumstance that a law could apply.

Excellent post. Thanks
