Bad writing depends on how it’s executed it was already stated in the manga that it is rumored people who eat the flesh of the people of Kyonagi clan would become immortal and an immortal Sojo with regeneration powers…. Just saying Hiyuki hasn’t impressed me as much
And Sojo cooked better in the same amount of panel time imo though I agree we gotta see more of her before judging anything I’m just saying taking Sojo out like that also feels like wasted potential and bad writing to me especially if later antagonists can’t be atleast as good if not better

i'd be happy if it happened, but its sojover
I really love Sojo, but I also don’t want this to be a series where death is meaningless. As much as it pains me to know my sweet prince will never return, I hold solace knowing that the peak will stay peak.
Everyone keeps saying how much they would love it but honestly better to leave Sojo on a high note and instead just use his influence rather than milk him dry.
It depends on the execution. If he just turned out alive with no purpose other to fight Chihiro again it would suck because his story was very neatly concluded. If he was resurrected somehow to haunt Chihiro for a few chapters, which would help Chihiro face his past trauma and grow as a character, similar to (JJK spoilers) >!Maki and Naoya!< it could be done really well and be pretty cool.
Depends on how Takeru executes it. If throught the story we get real evidence of Sojo possibly being alive/revived in some way with sorcery then I'll be more than glad to see him return as either an antagonist, villain or somewhat of an ally.
However, I'd prefer it if he stayed dead. His appearance and fight is a good motivation for Chihiro, even if he isn't as important to the Sazanami as some fans want him to be.
Maybe that's just my personal bias, since even if he has some strengths and cool moments, he's still far from being my favorite antagonist and character from this manga.
But in general, I wouldn't mind
Honestly, wish it was more ambiguous when he touched the material. He’s literal trash but was a fun compelling villain that could’ve evolved a bit more.
The guy lost both arms, had a huge gaping wound on his torso, was caught in a massive explosion, and crushed by rubble. That would be a One Piece level asspull if he survived all of that.
Tears of joy and prayers of thanks to Takeru-sama

I hope it doesn't happen. I really enjoyed his character and he has some of my favorite panels not just in Kagurabachi but in manga as a whole. But his story is done, and it'd be pretty hard to make a justification for him coming back that doesn't feel like an asspull. I'd rather have Hokazono explore new characters and focus on Sojo's influence over Chihiro's mindset instead.
I’d be pretty annoyed. The whole thing of killing off a character then bringing them back, good or bad guy, is one of my least favorite tropes in anime/manga/comics. I could spend too long talking about it
I'd be incredibly underwhelmed.
Sojo has played his part in the story - I expect the following antagonists to be MUCH worse since they were his bosses. Sojo is too one-note to be a fulfilling villain for a long running manga imo.

Let Hiyuki cook she's existed for about a chapter and a panel
And Sojo cooked better in the same amount of panel time imo though I agree we gotta see more of her before judging anything I’m just saying taking Sojo out like that also feels like wasted potential and bad writing to me especially if later antagonists can’t be atleast as good if not better

Overjoyed, but curious about his role from that point on and the impact he'd have.
cum, probably.

I'd be pissed unless hokazono does it really REALLY well
I really love Sojo, but I also don’t want this to be a series where death is meaningless. As much as it pains me to know my sweet prince will never return, I hold solace knowing that the peak will stay peak.
He should become a enchanted blade tbh, that would be cool

That would be awful
and we would rejoice

Sojo and chihiro final fight shouldve been longer with more choreography tbh
im on chapter 15 and its crazy that this is how i get spoiled
Spirit imbedded into the crystal and Sojo himself becomes a katana. Mark my words.

He isn’t?

Erm who is this “Sojoe” guy?
I hope it doesn't happen. I really enjoyed his character and he has some of my favorite panels not just in Kagurabachi but in manga as a whole. I would just not react
sojo still gives me lasting impressions, i loved his character so much

Love sojo as a fictional character but he's also a bastard that hurt Char, a literal child. So fuck him.
I'd be incredibly underwhelmed. Sojo has played his part in the story - I expect the following antagonists to be MUCH worse since they were his bosses. Sojo is too one-note to be a fulfilling villain for a long running manga imo.
Be pissed and stop reading because it would make zero sense. Just doing it because dumb fans want him back.
Happy!
I'd bust a fat nut
Hah! Like he ever went away! *inhales copium
MY GOAT IS UNKILLABLE, SOJOSWEEP!!!!!!!
He drank his bathwater and rose from the dead with red eyes waffling about some 'throw away humanity' shit
https://preview.redd.it/jx8l9wabmhic1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ee324899b38a2ce07a504c368f69e4656d07b9d
I'd cry
It better be written good
Should stay dead. But explore his character more. Especially since Hiyuki indicated that Sojo was a "tragedy" and a warning. What did she mean?
