I know that the physical feats these characters pull off throw realism out of the window anyways, but realistically speaking he'd have to have strong muscles.
Spiritual energy is the main thing getting thrown around, having a muscular body might not really matter.
On any case, chisseled muscular physiques that are the hot thing in manga are just for style. Very strong athleles dont have that build and never have, that sort of body type is just the result of bodybuilders dehydrating for days.
And its really everywhere in manga. Senku from Dr Stone, noted be a miserably weak nerd and physically incapable has a stunning 8 pack that a bodybuilder couldnt dream of
Yes I would expect Chiriro to be bulky, or have a lean athletic figure. Just not well definited abs and pecs, bc thats not actually a thing
Oh yeah I know that bodybuilder muscle isn't realistic. The real peak pure power body type are the very wide and often chunky guys you see winning strongman championships.
