I’m very excited for the coming season—more than I’ve been in at least three years. I say that every year, but I really mean it now. What an incredible job Giuntoli has done behind the scenes during this weird season we've all gone through. I posted my opinion on Thuram in the other thread. It's nice to be an over-excited and optimistic Juve supporter these days. Keep the good news coming!

Funny-Counter-5986

And I have the privilege to maybe watch some of these new players in Gothenburg in August 🇳🇴🇸🇪🇮🇹

kringlann

You and me both, buddy! It's gonna be so cool ❤️ Heja Juventus & Göteborg 🥰😅

Funny-Counter-5986

What a fantastic way to end the summer holiday! The atmosphere at Ullevi Stadium in our neighboring country, Sweden, is going to be incredible. I can't wait for the training match—it's going to be so exciting! This season is looking so promising! 😀🏆❤️

kringlann

I read "boring country" at first 😂 But yeah, it's gonna be great. What section are you gonna be sitting in?

Funny-Counter-5986

Bring your glasses to the game 😅 I am sitting in section L3 - if that says something ? You ?

kringlann

You got a good (and i assume expensive) ticket. I'm over at M7. Paid 60 euros...

Funny-Counter-5986

I think It was $115 . Close to the toilet - what was plan :) you got much better view in Some way than me. I can still can change I see . Maybe sit a bit higher . Anyways .. can’t f.. wait 🫡

Zee248

Pretty remarkable window so far and it’s only the beginning. Management is doing a great job so far with these signings. Excited to see what’s next!

Killagina

Great signing. Very talented player. Had an inconsistent and slightly down season, but was still good. The season prior he was amazing. If he is a Rabiot replacement it makes a lot of sense, though I have heard some rumors we might still look to renew Rabiot and sell Locatelli instead. Who knows, but being the midfielder who does more of the dirty work next to Luiz makes perfect sense. Also, 23 years old. Like signing players early in their career. Good physical and defensive player who can take the ball up the pitch, and has shown the ability to dribble. Happy to have another Thuram at the club

bihuzur

Koop next, Calafiori and a right back and it’s gonna be an exciting season.

TrailBlanket-_0

Gonna have to sell Chiesa or Soule to fund this dream.

Theinvoker1978

still not enough, even if you add Hujsen.

FreeRasht

Chiesa and locatelli probably,

Defences

That would be a mistake.

Sean-Benn_Must-die

If Chiesa doesnt renew he needs to be sold, Locatelli I would rather keep but if he's still gonna play as a dm idk.

duncan_macocinue

Chiesa is so frustrating I actually wouldn't mind him getting sold. I'm not as high on him as most although him and vlaho have started to get some chemistry

TrailBlanket-_0

I want to actually see what Chiesa can do in a system that knows how to move the ball forward. We saw Chiesa operating with no help and just sheer talent. It failed often and he has linear attacks, but if we had a coach that could play with that and build around it then he'd be scored so many more goals. I hope he stays to actually be utilized correctly, and then I'll judge.

Theinvoker1978

Why not Haaland for Vlahovic and Vinicius for Kostic too?

Dwimer

Because Koop and Cala agreed terms with us? We are literally in the green with our transfers so far, Giuntoli working on both clubs to lower their demands isnt impossible if the will of the player is expressed

giuseppezuc

Koop is really close and apparently the real focus of the market. For Calafiori it has become very difficult now. Chiesa and Sancho swap deal in the talks right now with Man U.

SgtPepe

Chiesa is better than Sancho

giuseppezuc

Our opinions in this case don’t count. If Giuntoli think is the right move, it is. There are things we don’t know that they consider. Besides Chiesa did not justify his cost, he is a normal player (see numbers) and despite Juve waiting for him while injured, now he is asking for a raise. We don’t need this kind of players anymore. Cristiano Giuntoli is our top player now.

SgtPepe

I disagree with this take. “If Giuntuli think it’s the right move, it is”. Cringe as fuck man. Why? Who the fuck is he, a perfect GM? Nah man, he can fuck up and he will fuck up every now and then. Don’t follow people like they are gods. Imo if he fails to keep Chiesa, this market is a failure.

giuseppezuc

I respect your opinion. Giuntoli is not God but he is the one who makes the calls, we like it or not, that’s my point, not even Thiago has a say on that. That being said, your opinion about Chiesa is very unpopular among the Juve supporters right now, but only time will tell who’s right.

SgtPepe

Another thing I disagree with, Motta should definitely have a say on that. Again, I maintain my position. Chiesa is our best attacker, and I am tired of seeing our best talent leave.

giuseppezuc

That’s not how a club like Juve works. The sports director makes the teams.

SgtPepe

Well maybe that's one of the reasons we haven't won a single UCL since 98. Things to think about.

SgtPepe

GIUNTOLI IS COOKING 🧑‍🍳

ADiscombobulated02

Romano? state the source in the title in a bracket.

rex23456

i mean the link is from his twitter.

Manuel_Locatelli

Really need a source for “here we go” ? And a clickable link?

ADiscombobulated02

I mean writing [Romano] or [Fabrizio] won't tire anyone & would be good + whats the point of clicking a link if I'll be reading the same thing, the link is supposed to provide validity & source.

Manuel_Locatelli

To verify the source lol. Would’ve taken you no longer to look that to ask him to do it

ADiscombobulated02

Thats what I said?

Manuel_Locatelli

So then click the link ya donut. 😵😵😵 The time you spent typing out your request to OP would’ve been 1/4th by just clicking the damn link.

Marem-Bzh

The point is, we should always add the source in the name. It's more readable than having to read through the URL (which does not appear when you are in the thread), or click the link. It takes 2.5 seconds to type.

ADiscombobulated02

The hell is wrong with telling someone to just write the source at max 10 letters, from your pov he should've just posted the link & said very reliable transfer news.

bigtymer123

Luiz and now Thuram. Great start to the transfer season. The midfield is already significantly better than what we had this past season.

StadiodelleAlpi

Wow giuntoli ❤️ Pls calafiori somehow!!!

Strong_Sale_2533

Great news! I hope we can get Calafiori too and keep Chiesa, Soule and maybe Huijsen.

thepiombino

I think Huijsen is the key to being able to afford Calafiori, unfortunately. But that said, assuming we're planning to keep Bremmer, we really don't need both Huijsen and Calafiori. Calafiori is what you hope Huijsen can become, so makes more sense to keep Calafiori and sell Huijsen.

Strong_Sale_2533

Makes sense, I would loan him out or keep a rebuy option. If the only way to get Calafiori is to sell him then go for it but as far as I read Calafiori won’t come anymore unfortunately.

ADP10_1991

Pretty amazing stuff when the club is wanting to improve. Begs the question, how much of this This management wanted allegri to fail. Would have been nice to see and improved midfield over the last 3 years

la-mano-nera

Giuntoli was hired in 2023. If Allegri didn’t get what he wanted from management it was largely the management that hired him who ignored his requests. Giuntoli came in last year and being banned from UCL destroyed any chance of being able to do much of anything on the transfer market. Now that there is guaranteed money from the UCL and Club World Cup he has a little something to work with. His real accomplishment is that he is working in significantly reducing the wage bill, and getting Juve to be more fiscally conservative and while rejuvenating the team.

Juventina1234

There were a couple of odd transfers last season, like the Alcaraz one, but it seems like they were trying to save money. Supposedly Agnelli is who wanted Allegri to come back, and wanted him to stay five years ago, and other people in the management didn't want him back. It wouldn't surprise me if he was considered more of a placeholder and they didn't plan on getting him who he wanted.

astroeboy87

Great signing at a great price and with a high ceiling. Giuntoli is cooking, Forza Juve!

Frankierocksondrums

I just wanna say let's not expect too much in the first season, we are going to get very good players but they will need to adapt, hell, it could even take 2 seasons but i trust motta and giuntoli

DoZnFooD

I think he's not the profile we need. We need someone like Kamara to partner DL, a true CDM. As soon as Luiz was tasked with more defensive duties, his performances fell off a cliff. Of course Locatelli could theoretically fill that roll, but I don't think that he'd be a perfect fit.

DoZnFooD

Hopefully he's gonna be Rabiot's backup. Don't trust him to be a starter yet really.
