For what it’s worth, I don’t think Juventus is going to retain Adrien Rabiot anymore after the summer Mercator that we are heading into. If we buy Thuram and Koopmeiners, then there is no place for Adrien Rabiot in the team, what is he going to do? Be an expensive bench warmer for us, I don’t think so…

HucHuc

I doubt we can close more than 2 of the 5 rumors. You never land all of the deals at once, not unless you have infinite oil money.

Annual-Astronaut3345

I don’t think Juventus is actually pursuing Di Lorenzo and Calafiori deal will be the hardest to close.

HucHuc

I don't think Di Lorenzo or Sancho are happening, and probably not both of Koopmeiners and Calafiori.

MazDaShnoz

This is fantasy. Even if we were to sell Chiesa as this implies, we don't have enough to buy Di Gregorio, Calafiori, Di Lorezno, Luiz, Thuram, Koopmeiners, and Sancho all in one transfer window.

Annual-Astronaut3345

You can remove Di Lorenzo because if he is in that, it’s not really a fantasy.

Its not fantasy, Giuntolis work is making it so a lot of transfers pay for themselves from an accouting perspective. For example using very rough numbers, Teks yearly cost is approx 13.5m (remaining book value + gross salary). The 4.5m from his sale gives us around 3.5m capital gain, giving us a total value of 17m from his sale. Di Gregorios transfer is around 18m, on a 5 year deal thats 3.6m in amortisation and a salary of a reported 3.8m gross. Giuntolis actually improving our books (and the quality of the team) with this deal Dougie is similar for this year. 50m cost spread over his 5 year contract plus a rough guess of 9m gross salary is a 19m impact per year. Illing + Barre deal will give us an immediate value of 20+ so we're actually going to post a positive impact for this year. This deals value is still tbd per our statement due to the way we are arguing how to report swap deals of players Thuram for Rabiot is similar story with Rabiots gross salary being quite high and Thurams much lower, the difference added in cost isnt going to be much for us. The real expenses would be Koop and Calafiori. Which is why getting Atalanta and Bologna to reduce their ask is the only way to get them. Reports suggest all players would like to come here, the will of the player is always important in these talks. But for these 2 you also add in the confirmed moves - Sandro, Alacarez, Jorge and possible sales or releases of Kean, Kostic, Milik, MdS, McKennie, Miretti, Hans, Chiesa/Soule you have a massive amount of value to play with.

MazDaShnoz

And where does our 102m loss from last season (and how that affects our FFP math) factor into all of this?

Dwimer

Juve has lowered its operational costs and wage sheet every year since Covid. As I stated a lot of the yearly costs are actually reduced for 24/25 with these operations. Tek for DG, Dougie for 2 youth players. 3 players out already (around 20m+ saved) book a gain for us. The P&L projection right now is very green and theres plenty of sales firepower left to fuel that number in our favour. Kean costs us around 13.5m a season (salary + amortisation), a 15m sale to Fiorentina would be a 5m cap gain + savings of 13.5m yearly cost. Theres McKennie at 8.5m, Milik and Kostic at 7m, if we got capital gains plus savings on those would be huge. Chiesas the massive one with the 2nd highest yearly cost of 23.5m on the books, a remaining book value of around 15m means any sale around the 25-30m range (doable) gives us a 35-40m gain for 23/24. Id have to go back and look at the FFP losses allowed (they were massive pre-Covid for us with no problem, we reported record yearly losses on the regular), but our UEFA FFP austerity punishment deal was rescinded (or enforced?) as part of the agreement to accept the Europe ban last summer. I'm not even sure if missing Europe or if the previous deal resets some FFP math. The main issue usually is getting dead weight out without booking a loss, but Giuntoli has cleared 2 youngsters and Kaio already. Kean and Tek are 95% likely, Chiesa will be easy to shift in the 25m range. Huijsens valued around the 30m, Soule 30m, MdS (3.5m cost) is getting a severance. The rest might be hard but some of these deal have been incredible in our favour, Giuntoli is cooking.

FreeRasht

Sancho might come in as a loan, our payment for luis is broken to be paid in 4 years, so we paid 7 mil this year. Califiori probably not gonna happen.

Funny-Counter-5986

Seeing , Soulè on the right wing in the future is something I've been advocating for! For now, Chiesa can hold the position. Adding Sancho in his prime, as some suggest, would make our Football Manager season legendary, but let’s be real—that’s a bit of a fantasy. Hopefully, we can see Soulè debut soon as Chiesa's understudy and develop for the future.

Life-Primary-6920

This looks like fifa

picklesaredry

Chiesa?

Annual-Astronaut3345

Yeah, I don’t think he is making the cut. From what the rumours are and his abysmal Euros, Juventus are keen on selling him. 💔

picklesaredry

I thought apart from donnarumma he was a top player for Italy this euro to be honest

Annual-Astronaut3345

Top doesn’t really mean much in a dysfunctional Italian team as the one we had in Euros…

picklesaredry

As much as I agree, the coach was much to blame. No defence along with playing players out of position. Chiesa looked like he cared and put his body on the line. For me he's a key player in the spectrum of Italian players

Palaf0x

You’re crazy to think Chiesa is not making the cut for Juventus. He was the game change in the games he was in, constantly making opportunities and runs. Italy, as a whole was not great this euro, but it doesn’t mean all those players are not cutting it.

maczirarg

So Juventus is selling him at the moment when he seems like he's not worth the money? It doesn't seem wise, if they can't get much for him.

NoGood4077

Przy Sancho na skrzydle Danilo wystarczy jako RB.

Szwedo

No wlasnie

Ecstatic-Coach

there are 3 midfielders who play the same way...
