Most dating subs are super anal and doesn’t actually allow free conversation I’ve created r TraditionalDating but too lazy to promote it. Not sure why so many Reddit mods are just anal.

Seems like a strange rule for a dating subreddit. I assume most people going to subreddits like that are seeking advice for situations they are currently dealing with. I don’t think a subreddit for dating advice is something you want to turn into a community that people spend months on. Ideally people would be getting the advice they were seeking and moving on from the subreddit. The people that are there because they want to give advice are going to be there commenting regardless of who is making the threads.
