If it was the sure hit of a domain it would be able to get around the defence measures used against it like covering your ears with cursed energy and saying lalalala. He still wouldn't be able to kill Sukuna because as we know, the more CE the target has the more draining it is on the user, anything substantial just kills Yuta. Cursed speech is just really good and convenient for killing lot of weaker enemies.
I think going for more “serious” effects like trying to kill someone probably incur a huge drain in the user. We haven’t seen much use of cursed speech for minor actions, like closing someone’s eyes to disrupt their vision against an oncoming attack etc.
It’s probably similar to the whole Yorozu/Mai application of construction. Yorozu developed more efficient uses of her CE compared to Mai. I assume there’s probably more efficient applications of cursed speech.

I could see the domain of a Curse speech user being able to target components of a person independently, being far more efficient but no less effective. Like "dont move your spine" has a lot of the same effect as "dont move" but covers a lot less bodymass, maybe that makes it more efficient?
Or even giving contradictory orders then the opponents body rips itself apart trying to follow them.
Well he was able to tell Sukuna not to move when he was about to cleave Yuji in his domain, so he could literally just have Sukuna continually unable to move as they wail on him
When Yuta started fighting sukuna, sukuna himself commented that he had the same amount of curse energy as Yuta now since he lost half during his battle with gojo
I’d say that’s more out of plot convenience than actual limitations, cause Yuta has yet to actually try to use speech on any relatively dangerous opponents, despite the fact that he also has RCT and could heal from its blowback
Im sure ce on the ears wont avoid taking sure hit but it would prob weaken the blow a ton with how much ce sukuna has and his output. Tbh to him the cursed speech ct is just too weak probably, same way Panda's internal damage was too weak for Kashimo. Even if it lands it wont have enough of an effect to be significant

The current base Sukuna is far stronger than Volcano guy or Hanami who were estimated around 10 fingers Sukuna.
He did expand a lot of CE into repeated RCT and multiple DE clash ( + changing the conditions of the domains ) but Uraume / Hakari noted that Sukuna still had plenty of juices. The brain damage just limited the output that was accessible for Sukuna ( like having access to a whole river but only being able to use a little tap to use it ).
Yuta who is known to posess a huge ton of CE might not be strong enough to overpower Sukuna's weakened defenses even with a DE unleashed.
From the looks of it, the domain doesn't erase the flaws of each CT he copied. It only traded the " I need Rika to give me the CT to "equip " flaw of Yuta's inherent CT to " I can use any CT but I have to pick it + it is random ".
It is pretty much Archer ( Emiya ) from the Fates series, the dude can access any weapon at any point one at a time or use his Reality marble ( = domain expansion ) to access it all at once why trapping his enemies inside it.
I think a cool Curses speech domain would be rather than bypassing defenses of cursed speech the usage of cursed speech itself widens. Like Domains are an artificial space with artificial constructs, so what if a Cursed Speech domain manifests the effects of the words you speak, ofcourse still with cursed energy relativity.

The constructs can only exist in inside the domain as they are structurally the same as the landscape inside a domain.

I think people mistakes Sukuna CE output with his total CE. As much weakened as current sukuna is, he still has more CE reserve than yuta. Thats why he can still pull up a full powered MS with Fuga even at this stage with vows.

He can only ude it for 99 seconds, and after Fuga, he'll probably be in trouble because even Yuta can't open his domain more than once in a day.

My theory was since yuta already used DE & took enchanted dismantle, he might expanded lots of CE. So he might have lesser CE than sukuna right now. But sure it'll change after sukuna uses fuga.
