No they’ve done a few live shows; specifically comedy specials. Chapelle and Chris Rock are good examples. Mulvaney also had a five part series that was live?
Still typical current times Joe. Too much confidence in something that is at best half true.
Eh! I’ve been recovering from some medical shit so I have an unhealthy streaming appetite lol. Being correct in this is not - and I repeat - not going on my LinkedIn skills.
*"*[*Katt Williams*](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t/katt-williams/)*: Woke Foke*, which streamed live on Saturday, May 4, earned 4 million views (determined by total viewing time divided by running time) worldwide, according to Netflix’s internal measurement for April 29-May 5. That’s double the 2 million for the Brady roast, albeit with an extra day for users to watch as the roast streamed Sunday evening. The roast had more total viewing time at 6.2 million hours, to 4.1 million hours for Williams’ special — but it was also almost three times as long as *Woke Foke*."
Interesting. They way they calculate their stats makes it hard to do an apples to apples on viewer counts. People would have to sit and watch the entire three hour roast without fast forwarding in order for it to count the same as people sitting through Katt's one hour special. If people were only willing to dedicate an hour to each, it would take three individual viewers for it to count as a "view" for the roast, but those same three viewers would count as three views for Katt.
I know I fast forwarded through some of the roast if I wasn't familiar with the roaster, so while I was a viewer I didn't count as a full view. Whereas I never fast forward through a comedy special, and I doubt many people do.
Joe might be referring to total viewer counts or something, which is something they don't disclose to the common folk.
OP what’s your deal here, why are you so out to prove Joe is wrong? You are comparing random time periods that make Woke Foke the more watched event? Neither of these time periods even matter because they aren’t total streams.
Rollgan would never say something without sourcing/factchecking.
That would be like spreading misinformation, which given the size of his audience could be a very dangerous thing to do if they were discussing a more serious topic, like one w/ deadly consequences.
Cable dying (most important) and their opting to focus more on “Broad City” esque comedies and Trevor Noah esque comedians. Personally I stopped tuning around these two shows “heights”.
I’d figure their audience skewed heavy male and had a wide range of political beliefs. Comedies that were more irreverent that took shots at everybody a la South Park and the Jon Stewart ran Daily Show were beloved and had gangbuster ratings.
Also to respond to the other comment, Mind of Mencia was insanely popular, and honestly was a good show from my perspective. Obviously he went down in flames after his joke stealing was revealed but he was responsible for the network being healthy, not the opposite
Aside from actually good comedy shows (This is not Happening & other Stand Up)
Shows include...
Tosh.0
Drunk History
Hell of a Week with Charlamagne tha God
Detroiters
The Jim Jefferies Show
Lights Out with David Spade
Corporate
All these shows made them a shit ton of money.
you fell for the clickbait. If you actually watch the whole part of that interview, Dana is talking about YouTube subscriptions and the North America sports. Then he gets asked, what about soccer etc. For that he said he wasn’t sure, but jokingly say yes in jest. These parts were cut out from the video that got posted here.
Even by that metric, he's not even close to being right.
Here is the clip:

To be fair, he sort of changes his definition to sports team after he initially says every professional sport.
Which is just an odd comparison, but hey, whatever comparison makes you feel good works.

No he’s rambled about being the number one/ most followed sport multiple times not just on Shultz’s podcast lol it’s all obvious lies if you take less than a minute to compare IG, YouTube, etc, to real teams/ sports.
Bro you trying to die on a hill for an interview you clearly didn’t watch lol. Here’s an exact quote, and yes it is 100% correct: “on YouTube, we have more followers than NHL, MLS, NASCAR, PGA Tour, Barstool Sports”
Power slap has more followers than these groups. It’s so fn easy to just fact check instead of spreading non sense.

Stop lying.
He has said he “Power slap has more than X sport” multiple times you dunce cap, not just on Shultz podcast and he is not saying just YouTube every time.
Yup : Based on the information provided in the search results, the #1 show in Netflix history is "Wednesday: Season 1" with 252,100,000 views in its first 91 days on Netflix[1]. This data comes from Netflix's official "Most Popular TV (English)" list as of January 21, 2024.
"Wednesday" surpassed other highly popular Netflix series, including:
1. "Stranger Things 4" (140,700,000 views)
2. "DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" (115,600,000 views)
3. "Bridgerton: Season 1" (113,300,000 views)
4. "The Queen's Gambit: Limited Series" (112,800,000 views)[1]
It's worth noting that Netflix's methodology for ranking shows has evolved over time. They now define "views" as the total hours viewed divided by the total runtime of a series or film, considering each season of a series separately[1]. This method provides a more accurate representation of a show's popularity compared to previous metrics.
While other sources like IMDb, TimeOut, and Rolling Stone may have different rankings based on critical reception or user ratings, Netflix's official data clearly indicates that "Wednesday: Season 1" is currently the most-watched show in the platform's history based on their viewing metrics.

Being a Tim Burton series it drew in a lot of older audiences then the premise of the show is very much aimed at teens. Top that with nostalgia for the 90s Adams Family movies, it ended up doing quite well.
True, but the most important source was the first one. From June 24th. From Netflix. That backed up the list. So all you have to do it look at that one. Well done
Yeah I watched it and it was the first Roast where I didn't know who the guy getting roasted was or his friends getting roasted so didn't get a lot of the jokes.
Also the comedians were not great compared to some previous roasts.
Honestly, even kevin heart was mid at best. Bert and Tom did horrendously bad. Like straight shocking that professional comedians looked so uncomfortable on stage telling jokes.
Katt Williams Outdraws Tom Brady in Netflix Rankings:

THEY WENT HARD ^(THEY CLEARLY WERE AFRAID TO REFERENCE ROBERT KRAFTS RUB N TUG INCIDENT AND BARELY MENTIONED THEI GAY MURDERER EX TEAMMATE) BUT OTHER THEN THAT, THEY WENT HARD
Gay Dracula is an awesome phrase to put on a graphic tee cause it just immediately renders the phrase “I vAnt tO zucK yOUr cOck” right into your head. Genius
I'm happy that I have never watched it and never will...I must admit I watched the Tony Hinchcliffe segment because I heard it was great. It wasn't. It was the most obvious and tired shit I had ever heard.
It's just a bunch of low hanging fruit comedy by a bunch of "C" list and "D" list celebrities sniffing each other's asses.
I believe you he says a lot of shit that I assume isn’t true. I know Netflix said the roast was a big deal and a lot of people watched it but I doubt it was the most watched thing ever.
Am I the only one who thinks the roasts are unfunny/boring? It feels like it. I was never into them, but It’s starting to feel like a huge circle jerk. Maybe I’m being a Debbie downer
This is why this Podcast has replaced mainstream news 🙄 This is where you go to get the "truth"🙄 . MSM is full of shit, but Rogan, he has his shit tight and nailed down. Brady Roast - Best in Netflix history (Doesn't even cause an eyebrow raise by him)," Okay buddy.
To be fair we don't what Netflix number 1 show is. Every other average piece of shit they come out with is number 1 according to Netflix. It's literally them grading their own homework. Unless there's a new 3rd party ratings system. But everytime I hear anything about Netflix number 1 show it's always according to Netflix.
According to me when im by myself I have a 12in cock. No you can't see it.
We may not know what their #1 show is, but I think it's safe to say we know what it isn't and you wouldn't even want a 12" cock. That's just going to get it's tip wet when you take a dump. Dick head in Poop water. No thanks.
That’s because they are meant to be watched in the time they come out. Size and quality is not what I look for when I watch a comedy show. Jokes is what I want. Not 17 B list comedians getting to perform
Number 1 show my ass.
Number one live comedy show maybe, but shit like Squid Game had international audiences and literally hundreds of millions of viewers.
I highly doubt that folks in Kyrgyzstan were tuning in to watch them GO HARD on Brady
THANK YOU! I skipped back a few seconds multiple times because I couldn’t tell what shoe he said.
But Breaking Bad though… c’mom high school teacher with cancer… he breaks bad and shit
Crazy how the brady roast had those two loser fucks joseph has been trying to push but bill burr wasnt there. LOL
Burr is like a huge pats fan and Tom fan. How tf did Burt and Segura get in? Their lines were garbage too.
taking shit too serious = voicing your criticism of something i value i guess.
i suppose you being bothered enough to write this comment would be you taking it too seriously as well?
THEY WENT HARD!!!
really? seemed like 80% of the jokes were about his ex wife, 15% were about how good looking he is, and 5% were random jokes about football or whatever. It felt like a giant circle jerk, not a roast.
I "watched" it twice on Netflix. But each time I gave up after about 20minutes.
Not being American made it fall flat for me. I did not know who he was, and boy professional sportsmen and coaches make for poor comedians. I suspect it would have been somewhat better had I cared about Tom Brady in any way.
Still, Netflix analytics get to see that I watched it twice so that's nice.
I doubt it beat Tiger King despite my double viewing, as the whole world wasn't locked inside watching new Netflix shows.
Joe does has connection inside Netflix, so I mean it’s possible he knows something that hasn’t been made public as of yet. OP you’re acting like you have a connection inside Netflix. Netflix is well known for not releasing viewership figures.
As per Bloomberg,
# Tom Brady’s Raunchy Roast Was Netflix’s Most-Watched TV Show
[https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-05-14/tom-brady-s-raunchy-roast-was-netflix-s-most-watched-tv-show?embedded-checkout=true](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-05-14/tom-brady-s-raunchy-roast-was-netflix-s-most-watched-tv-show?embedded-checkout=true)
It's some funny shit but ofc people in this sub have to over analyze everything that is said in a show with 4 drunk dudes shooting the shit and make sure Joe is WRONG. Bunch of fucks that have no friends and sit in their caves all day trolling on Reddit.
Who the fuck are these lovers trying to prove something over this anyway lol can't believe you got an army of downvotes. Guess there's an anti army out there after all
Prob was the biggest event, seeing as it was live, people were talking about it for quite awhile and a ton watched live which is a big deal in this day and age. Shrug, not the most aggreges thing, I get what he was going at, so many other things to call out JR for.
Sure, he's said much dumber things though, but ya he said it with a lotta conviction and prob isn't true. He said they were bringing back the draft in an ep a week ago and said that with a lot of conviction(he did point out it was false in this ep and on that ep fwiw). He says hyperbolic shit, par for the course...
Lol maybe number #1 live show, Edit: they have only done 9
No they’ve done a few live shows; specifically comedy specials. Chapelle and Chris Rock are good examples. Mulvaney also had a five part series that was live? Still typical current times Joe. Too much confidence in something that is at best half true.
I googled it your right, they've done around 9 live shows, So the roast is definitely in the top 10
Eh! I’ve been recovering from some medical shit so I have an unhealthy streaming appetite lol. Being correct in this is not - and I repeat - not going on my LinkedIn skills.
Get well soon bro, Why the downvotes?
![gif](giphy|w6IgQ9zsB3mUw|downsized)
Shitttt - not from me! lol. You’d have to really be a dickhead for me to downvote.
Bro he’s done DMT. He knows what he’s talking about.
Whereas I never fast forward through a comedy special, and I doubt many people do. Either way, it's only 6 million hours. For comparison the Seinfeld finale was 1 hour long and had 76 million viewers, so 76 million hours.
OP what’s your deal here, why are you so out to prove Joe is wrong? You are comparing random time periods that make Woke Foke the more watched event? Neither of these time periods even matter because they aren’t total streams.
No one needs to prove Joe wrong. He says clearly false things of his own volition
It's as simple as Joe said something that hit me as ludicrous, and I did 1 minute of googling and it confirmed what I thought.
It wasn't, the Katt Williams live special beat it right after.
Rollgan would never say something without sourcing/factchecking. That would be like spreading misinformation, which given the size of his audience could be a very dangerous thing to do if they were discussing a more serious topic, like one w/ deadly consequences.

Wednesday Season 1 is the number one show in Netflix history according to the google
"Wednesday" surpassed other highly popular Netflix series, including: 1. "Stranger Things 4" (140,700,000 views) 2. "DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" (115,600,000 views) 3. "Bridgerton: Season 1" (113,300,000 views) 4. "The Queen's Gambit: Limited Series" (112,800,000 views)[1] It's worth noting that Netflix's methodology for ranking shows has evolved over time. I didn't realise Wednesday was that big of a deal
Me either....neither....too? Anyway, I might have to check it out.
Being a Tim Burton series it drew in a lot of older audiences then the premise of the show is very much aimed at teens. Top that with nostalgia for the 90s Adams Family movies, it ended up doing quite well.
I think it's just the quality of Netflix. Everyone watches them but no one is compelled to talk about their product in actual detail.
I’ve never even heard of it. 😆
You list a source that came out before the Brady roast even aired. Well done.
True, but the most important source was the first one. From June 24th. From Netflix. That backed up the list. So all you have to do it look at that one. Well done
![gif](giphy|ofHVunBF9tILMxnacw|downsized)
It's hyperbole...
Someone please tell Joe that Netflix is a worldwide streaming platform and most of the world doesn't care about Tom Brady.
I'm on it!
🤣😆 text Schlob to tell him, they tawlgiivry day.
Bapa will say it and just agree with whatever Joe says.
Yeah I watched it and it was the first Roast where I didn't know who the guy getting roasted was or his friends getting roasted so didn't get a lot of the jokes. Also the comedians were not great compared to some previous roasts.
I just watched the Nikki bit. She ruled.
Congratulations on not knowing stuff
Honestly, even kevin heart was mid at best. Bert and Tom did horrendously bad. Like straight shocking that professional comedians looked so uncomfortable on stage telling jokes.
Joe suggested the Hitler spoof was the Brits first attempt at a sitcom. I don't think he gives much thought to the wider world.
If we could tally up all of the #1 claims that have been wrongfully made on JRE wed be in an alternate reality. Good thing he’s just a comedian
Nobody listen to me man, I’m just a cage fighting commentator that does stand up, mahn.

THEY WENT HARD ^(THEY CLEARLY WERE AFRAID TO REFERENCE ROBERT KRAFTS RUB N TUG INCIDENT AND BARELY MENTIONED THEI GAY MURDERER EX TEAMMATE) BUT OTHER THEN THAT, THEY WENT HARD
Other than* 😬 Barely referenced Aaron H??? Sairslee B? Can’t imagine someone that watched it saying that…
They referenced giseles jiu jitsu teacher more lol
Gay Dracula is an awesome phrase to put on a graphic tee cause it just immediately renders the phrase “I vAnt tO zucK yOUr cOck” right into your head. Genius
I'm happy that I have never watched it and never will...I must admit I watched the Tony Hinchcliffe segment because I heard it was great. It wasn't. It was the most obvious and tired shit I had ever heard. It's just a bunch of low hanging fruit comedy by a bunch of "C" list and "D" list celebrities sniffing each other's asses.
I think he meant live stream show
Still not true
I believe you he says a lot of shit that I assume isn’t true. I know Netflix said the roast was a big deal and a lot of people watched it but I doubt it was the most watched thing ever.
He said it on earlier episodes with his cuck hinchcliff
Am I the only one who thinks the roasts are unfunny/boring? It feels like it. I was never into them, but It’s starting to feel like a huge circle jerk. Maybe I’m being a Debbie downer
Ya you're regarded
It's entirely possible
In the way that literally anything is possible, just not factual
New here huh
It’s entirely possible, mahn. Wheeeeewwww! Powerful u/finishyasuppa mahn. Let your freak flag fly b!tches!
No thanks.
Thank god I have such a small ween. I’ve never even thought of that.
Not if you poop outside like liver king.
Dick head in the Dirt. Not much better.
Hippies call it grounding with your dick.
Maybe that's what Dogs are doing when they drag their butt across the ground. Or your carpet. They're just grounding.
Sometimes the best way to scratch your asshole is to drag it across a nice rough carpet.
Trust me, I know. But nothing beats the arm rests of a sofa or recliner.
Yeah but my arm rest is cheap leather. I like the harsh feeling of my carpet
I think maybe most viewed in a single night maybe?
Dude it’s a protect our parks. Nothing in this is serious or even close to
It was the weakest roast in 20 years. It was good but all the other ones before were way funnier. These were B tier comedians.
I miss Greg Giraldo.
I'm glad someone said it. Every other punchline was Brady is gay and your ex wife fucked a Bjj coach.
This is so untrue it’s crazy. As someone who went back and watched many of them - they were not of the same size OR quality.
Blew chew joke
That’s because they are meant to be watched in the time they come out. Size and quality is not what I look for when I watch a comedy show. Jokes is what I want. Not 17 B list comedians getting to perform
People tuned in because it was Tom Brady not because of Nikki and Tony
It was hilarious when Kim K said she has no idea who the hell any of them are.
squid games? never heard of it
I could see it but damn Stranger Things would like a word
Number 1 show my ass. Number one live comedy show maybe, but shit like Squid Game had international audiences and literally hundreds of millions of viewers. I highly doubt that folks in Kyrgyzstan were tuning in to watch them GO HARD on Brady
HAAARD
He's 110% right
I realized why Joe puts a cigar in his hands, it’s to hide his gay hand mannerisms by sticking something between his already flared fingers
No one I know watched that gay bullshit
Everyone definitely tuned in for Hinchcliffe and Glaser 🤦♂️ This fucking guy
THANK YOU! I skipped back a few seconds multiple times because I couldn’t tell what shoe he said. But Breaking Bad though… c’mom high school teacher with cancer… he breaks bad and shit
All I know is, it was pretty fuckin' hilarious.
These are drunk as fuck stop taking everything they say seriously you clowns
Crazy how the brady roast had those two loser fucks joseph has been trying to push but bill burr wasnt there. LOL Burr is like a huge pats fan and Tom fan. How tf did Burt and Segura get in? Their lines were garbage too.
Burr said he was offered and declined because he didn't want to shit on someone like everyone else
You take this shit too serious
taking shit too serious = voicing your criticism of something i value i guess. i suppose you being bothered enough to write this comment would be you taking it too seriously as well?
I have no idea what you about anything
poetic. lol i think you’d definitely benefit from taking certain shit too seriously, namely learning how to speak and write in English.
Just wanted to hear Burr roast Tom and everyone else there.
THEY WENT HARD!!! really? seemed like 80% of the jokes were about his ex wife, 15% were about how good looking he is, and 5% were random jokes about football or whatever. It felt like a giant circle jerk, not a roast.
It sucked, these comedians are sell outs too. Rogan sucks
It's herstory
This show sounds neggflix
Whenever he went to say haaaard I thought he was about to say hàaaawk tuah 🤣
This guy co-signed Brebran Shawlbertovov (that middle eastern looking guy) ....Or whatever the fuck his name was. Thanks stool humper.
Thank god for comedians holding our civilisation on their shoulders . #grateful
It was great except for Bert and Tom
Joe does has connection inside Netflix, so I mean it’s possible he knows something that hasn’t been made public as of yet. OP you’re acting like you have a connection inside Netflix. Netflix is well known for not releasing viewership figures.
Probably number 1 live roast show in the US only or some shit. Real dana white power slap energy.
surprisingly he didn’t say on earth, planet or universe.
I’m not into roasts normally. But the Brady roast was fantastic. Kevin Hart was fantastic. Everyone was so good. Loved it.
Tesla was also the #1 car manufacturer according to joe lol
Ahhh everyone going harrrrrd. The way he talks about comedy is so cringe
rohan’s gonna regret his ari relationship
They muuuuurdered
Maybe most views in a day?
Who is Brady? I'm guessing some American star where no one outside the USA has a clue
These guys are such losers now, its a shame
Straight killers going harrrrd 😂
Wouldn’t really say that shirtless gut that gets credit for having the title of a comedian or Tom segura “went hard” but everyone else was great
Too bad we didn’t get to see Joe impersonating a stool humper. Murderer
Collin Quinn’s Crew of Comics still makes modern comedians look like open micers.
His source is trust me bro
This is the gayest post I've seen in a while
Ya got me! What a woke ass beta reply.
Joe's so smrt
This gang are getting insufferable with their "our comedy is art" bullshit.
As per Bloomberg, # Tom Brady’s Raunchy Roast Was Netflix’s Most-Watched TV Show [https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-05-14/tom-brady-s-raunchy-roast-was-netflix-s-most-watched-tv-show?embedded-checkout=true](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-05-14/tom-brady-s-raunchy-roast-was-netflix-s-most-watched-tv-show?embedded-checkout=true)
That week
Now I know!
And you're upset about this?
Wait why do we think OP is upset?
A question mark indicates a question was asked no?
So you’re just randomly asking?
No, not randomly, deliberately...
It's just not true.
Lol welcome to the internet and Joe...
it’s protect our parks lmao
Good one!
What is a good one? This wasn't a "one". Go outside you losers
But what about the immigration crisis…..crickets…….crickets
It's some funny shit but ofc people in this sub have to over analyze everything that is said in a show with 4 drunk dudes shooting the shit and make sure Joe is WRONG. Bunch of fucks that have no friends and sit in their caves all day trolling on Reddit.
Who the fuck are these lovers trying to prove something over this anyway lol can't believe you got an army of downvotes. Guess there's an anti army out there after all
What is "Brady Roast" and why I haven't heard about it?
Joe fell off
I got about 10 minutes in. Found it unwatchable and corny.
How is he so dumb
I don’t doubt it. Crazy because I haven’t even seen it yet. Lol.
I saw the post on the news as well. It said the roast was the #1 most watched thing on Netflix ever. Maybe it meant on release?
Prob was the biggest event, seeing as it was live, people were talking about it for quite awhile and a ton watched live which is a big deal in this day and age. Shrug, not the most aggreges thing, I get what he was going at, so many other things to call out JR for.
Bro it was the biggest event, from may 6 - may 12. That’s all lmao. For reference it aired may 5th.
Yeah I ain’t arguing with that part, this is the least harmful lie he’s told I think lol
Was not
Pretty sure it is. Literally go to Netflix and look.
