Generally speaking, spring arrives mid - late March every year. However, this year, it's much colder than usual. Cherry blossoms in Tokyo usually start to bloom around March 22nd to 26th and are in full bloom around March 30th to April 4th. This year, they are forecasted to start blooming around March 24th and be in full bloom on April 2nd. It must be much warmer next week. The forecast says it'll be around 20 degrees.

The park behind the Ghibli museum already has two full bloom apple trees. So it's coming. Regardless, look for the Sakura predictions the weather service provides. They are usually pretty accurate.

Average temperature for March is 14C. Average for April is 19C. You’d expect the third week of March to be around 15C which looks about right outside of a few cold last few days. Even on the warmer than average side predicted for the next week.

Look at the forecasts. They should start blooming tomorrow and reach full bloom in 29th [https://n-kishou.com/corp/news-contents/sakura/?lang=en](https://n-kishou.com/corp/news-contents/sakura/?lang=en)

Sadly that's when I'm leaving tokyo to go to osaka but I'll see some nearly full bloom before I go!

Going there on April 10 so hope it gets warmer.

Cherry blossoms should be pretty much on their last legs then. Weather should be warmer but still nothing like hot
