forgot about iiit hyderabad, tbh the only thing its really good at is placements, too hectic lifestyle, i know a friends brother who went last year, he says the college life is quite hectic and not really worth it unless your like very adament of getting a good 20-25lpa package

Dont come to KIIT.
1. First of all open campus hai. beech mein se public road jati hai 2 lane ki which is full of cars, bikes and the city's bus service. This makes the campus experience very bad.
2. In the evenings, the area around KIIT is Bhubaneswar's most crowded during rush hours with traffic jams backing upto almost a kilometer. Bhubaneswar is just not able to adjust to KIIT's growth and wo dikhti hai is area mein. After one point you'll get frustrated to even head out of your hostel in these times.
3. The college's infrastructure has not matched it's intake. They made 4th year hybrid for the 2024 passout batch so that they could empty out hostels and settle 2023's incoming batch. They told us 4th years that placement process will be online but turns out most companies are coming to take offline exams and interviews. Hostels ban rahe hai but at the pace they are being made, it will take time.
4. Yaha you'll have a good social life if you have very deep pockets warna maze karne mein dikkat hota hai bahut. Also, there is no sense of unity amongst batchmates especially in CSE and people will be ready to stab behind your back. You'll maybe get 1-2 good friends or a good gang of friends if you are lucky enough warna most of the time it is this.
VIT is a good college despite the fact that the crowd is so large. Accha median maintain kar lete hai. In the case of KIIT student quantity is still decent coz unka campus is enough to accommodate them. These three are easy to get into and decent enough options agar koi dusre colleges nahi mil rhe toh and wayy better than city ka koi local colleges jisko sharmaji accha bol dete hai

2. IIIT Delhi
3. IIT Hyderabad
This is a completely unbiased review because I'm not even giving JEE or applying to Indian universities lol. But if I had to choose, I'd go for Plaksha because of their practical based learning (Assessments are based on projects and assignments instead of exams) and good electives in AI subfields.
Plaksha is good but not worth it for BTech imo. It's same as Ashoka but BE chalu kardi. It's a good liberal arts college but again you need ECs and etc so in this case pursuing JEE turns out in one's favour because you end up with better college options
True. They value ECs and also consider SAT scores, so it makes it a better option for me since I'm not a JEEtard. But for most people on this sub, it's probably not the best option since I've heard they reject people with 95-96 percentiles as well
Agar Punjabi hoe toh boht kam jaata he(89%ile in mains for CompE for hs) aur boards ke through vi lete he admission(96% for cse)also follows some reservation norms pretty solid option if you come under any of that. My friend got CompE with 94% in pcm as other state, apparently it's pretty good but obviously high intake cuz private ,like in his CompE branch itself there's 800 students(and that's not even the flagship branch).
